Mrs. Dorothy Cochran, formerly of Hanna, Alberta, beloved wife of the late Mr. Percy Cochran, passed away peacefully in Medicine Hat on Thursday, January 27, 2005, three days short of her 100th birthday.
A Memorial Service will be held in Hanna, Alberta at a later date.

WILSON, JAMES LORNE (J.J.)
On June 30, 2003, James Lorne Wilson of Ardrossan, AB. passed away at the age of 19 years. James leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Lorne and Kristine, his sister Brandie, his brother Jeffrey (Kathy) Johnstone of Calgary, his maternal grandmother Hedie Schrempf of Edmonton and paternal grandparents, Wes (Olga) Wilson of Rochester and Donalene Wilson of Edmonton, great-grandmother Berta Gross of Edmonton, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. James was predeceased by his grandfather, Hans Schrempf. A celebration of James' life was held on Monday, July 7, 2003 at 3 p.m. at the Sherwood Park Alliance Church with Pastor Darryl Roste officiating. THORNE, ADA LORENE
On Friday, June 27, 2003, Ada Thorne of Stony Plain passed away at the age of 90 years. She is survived by her children, Ronald (Darlene), Cecil, Clayton (Annabelle), Keith (Kathy), Margaret Rose (Richard) St. Laurent, Richard; 27 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Ernest, daughter Ruth, two brothers and four sisters. CHAMBERS, PAUL VICTOR
On Friday, June 27, 2003, Paul died peacefully at home at the age of 74 years. Paul leaves to mourn, one son Mark (Joanne) and their children; Tiara, Steven and Destiny, one daughter, Sally and her children; Mandi, Bradley and Caitlyn, his dear friend Dorothy Pack, one brother-in-law; Peter Knowles, two nieces; Pauline and Denise, one sister-in-law; Doreen (Gerry) Leeder and their children; Paul (Carol), Kim (Daryl), also great nephews Jared, David, Ryan and Cody along with many dear and beloved relatives and friends. Paul was predeceased by his loving wife Joy on May 5, 2000 and by his sister Joyce in 1981. Paul was born in Buxton, England on July 29, 1928. He resided in Chesterfield, England until August, 1967 before coming to Canada. From December 1970, Paul and his family have resided in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Paul was cremated and a Memorial Evensong to celebrate Paul's life was held on Monday, June 30, 2003 at 3 p.m. at St. George's Anglican Church. For those who desire, memorial donations in loving memory of Paul can be made to the memorial fund of St. George's Anglican Church.
DELLA MAY CUNNINGHAM (nee McInnes)
DELLA MAY CUNNINGHAM (nee McInnes) passed away quietly in her sleep on June 26 in the Auxiliary unit at Lamont Health Care Center, Lamont, AB. She was 92. Born in the R.M. of St. Andrews in the Zealandia, Sask. area on May 1, 1911. She went to Dublin School and also Guernsey School, going on to Normal School in Saskatoon where she graduated to become a teacher. She taught in the one room school houses, two of which were Guernsey School and Mylrea School in the Kindersley area. Later she met and married Bruce Cunningham of Zealandia, Sask. They lived in several different communities over the years, starting with Zealandia, Plato, Unity, Kindersley and Battleford in Sask., and Sardis, BC, Red Deer, Leduc and finally Lamont, AB. She worked as a teacher, as a parts person in the IHC garage in Unity and then she and Bruce bought a store in Unity and they ran the Robinson-Little Variety Store for 18 years. She was well known in the area for her unusually large assortment of yard goods in the store. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary McInnes, her older brother Harvey McInnes all of Zealandia, Sask and her older sister Rebecca Anderson of Saskatoon, Sask., as well as Lorne Nichols of New West Minster, BC, her previous husband. She is survived by her daughter, Marlen Szabados of Red Deer, AB., grandchildren Ron Chin of Edmonton, Dianna Nelson of Prince Albert, Sask., Don Chin of Fort St. John, BC., Kelly Henderson of Cold Lake, AB. and step-grandchildren Christine Ritchie of Flaxcombe, Sask and Dean McCullough of Kindersley, Sask., nieces Pherne Robertson of Trail, BC and Faye Ross of Victoria, BC. Nephews Al Anderson of Saskatoon, Sask., and Burns Anderson of Toronto, Ont. Cousin Hazel Casey of Edmonton, AB as well as 21 great grand children and one great great grandchild. She will be sadly missed by all. Private prayers took place and she was cremated. There will be a graveside service and Interment to be held at a future date in Zealandia Cemetery, Zealandia, Sask. "God saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb. So he closed your weary eyelids and whispered, Peace be thine."
Mary Holbrook (nee Ottewell)
Mary Holbrook (nee Ottewell) passed away peacefully on Oct. 7, 2003 in North Vancouver. Predeceased by her beloved Bruce. Survived by daughter Sonja and son-in-law Bruce, grandchildren Tanya (Doug), Donald (Janice) and Cameron Lebans, four great-grandchildren Sean and Erin Blackmore and Trent and Dayne Lebans. Also survived by her sister Margaret Friel and brother Garnet Ottewell (Dorothy) and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mary lived in many places across Canada and made friends wherever she went. Dearly loved and sorely missed she has rejoined her mate.
