JOLY, Denis - Passed away at Bluewater Health, Sarnia, on Sunday, April 19, 2015, at the age of 73. He is survived by his loving wife Darlene, sons Brian (Yvonne) of Prince George, British Columbia, Steven and Greg of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, and daughter Denise O'Neill (Sean) of St. John's, Newfoundland; step-daughters Candice Racher of Brigden, Ontario, Catrina Clouatre of Edmonton, Alberta; grandchildren, Dawson and Jaylynne; and step-grandchildren, Rachel and Chris. Denis is survived by his brothers, Lionel of Quebec City, Val (Eva) of St. Paul, Alberta, Lou (Rolande) of Vernon, British Columbia, Hector (Linda) of Kelowna, British Columbia, and Pat of Red Deer, Alberta, and by his sisters Viviane Spendiff of Red Deer, Alberta, Evelyn Foster (Charlie) of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Louise Warholik (John) of St. Paul, Alberta, and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Denis was predeceased by his parents Leo Paul and Isabelle Joly, his sister Lucille Adams, and by his sons, Ken and Barry. As requested by Denis, there will be no funeral. Denis' ashes will be buried in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. HEWKO, Allan Nicholas Joseph - February 3, 1964 - March 12, 2016. Passed away from lung cancer in Vancouver, BC. Lovingly remembered by his three sons, Dan, Kevin and Shaun. His mother and father Helen and Paul Hewko. Brother Kirby and sister Shelly. Grandchildren, nieces and nephews and friends. PALAMARCHUK, Joanne - (March 8, 1930 - April 28, 2016) - It is with heartfelt sorrow that we mourn the passing of our 86 year old mother, Joanne, after a 5 month hospitalization. She will be missed by her children Donny (Liz) and Debbie (Jorge), her sister Connie Schweitzer, brother Bernie Huzar, beloved Auntie Caroline and numerous other family members and wonderful friends. Joanne will be fondly remembered by her special friend Francis who brought unexpected joy to her life. She was predeceased by her dear husband Carl in 1993. The family would like to thank Dr. Kumari and all the Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital staff who took such excellent care of our mother. A funeral service will be officiated by Father Francis at 11 am on Friday, May 6, 2016 in Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Fort Saskatchewan, 10004 101 Street. Interment at Evergreen Memorial Gardens will follow after a church fellowship. BALANKO, Bonnie E.
On September 21, 2011, Bonnie Balanko passed away at the age of 70 years old.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 49 years, Al; daughters Peggy (Rob) Konkolus and Jody; granddaughter Paige, and Bonnie's beloved dog Molly. Bonnie also leaves behind her mother Velma; brother Rick; sisters Shawna, Kerry, Kathy and Chris; her aunt Betty; numerous relatives; "the gang" and all her other cherished friends.
A Memorial Service for Bonnie will be held at Connelly-McKinley Sherwood Park-Millwoods Funeral Chapel (4820 Meridian Street) on Sunday, September 25th, at 11:00 a.m. (Note: Meridian Street can only be accessed heading SOUTH on Highway 216/ Anthony Henday; - the access is 1 km south of the Sherwood Park Freeway on Highway 216).
The family would like to express their gratitude to both the Transplant and Renal Units at the University of Alberta Hospital for the outstanding care they provided.

Norris "Slim" Lansdell, of Breton
On Wednesday, August 20, 2003 Mr. Slim Lansdell of Breton, AB passed away at the age of 84 years.
He leaves to mourn his passing and treasure precious memories, his loving wife of 57 years - Winnifred of Breton, AB; son Larry of Leduc, daughters Patricia (David) Denholm of Stettler and Michele (Randy) Bevan of Breton; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; brother Lawrence Lansdell of Weyburn, Sk; sisters Maxine Nest of Weyburn, Sk and Marjorie (Jim) Brewer of Zurich, Montana; sisters in law Eileen Lansdell of Yellow Grass, Sk and Carol Lansdell of Stettler; numerous nieces and nephews.
Slim was predeceased by his parents, brothers Art, Harold and Kelly and sisters Muriel and Mildred.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at the Breton Community Hall with Rev. Phyllis Greenslade officiating. Interment to follow at the Breton Cemetery.

BARONSFEATHER, Lee (nee Kenny)
June 11, 1920 - September 17, 2011
"So I went forth and finding the hand of God,
trod gladly into the night."
On the morning of Saturday, September 17, 2011, Lee Baronsfeather, at the age of 91 years, passed away peacefully at her home, after a struggle with cancer.
Lee is survived by her son, Bruce Baronsfeather and her daughter, Barb (Vittorio) Calaresu; her grandson, Michael Calaresu and her granddaughter, Sheranda (Phil) Ghazal as well as great-grandson, Philip Ghazal. Lee will also be missed by a number of extended family members.
On January 12, 1942, Lee married William Nicol (Bill) Baronsfeather at Wesley United Church in Edmonton, Alberta. The couple started a family and had three children (Barb, Bill Jr., and Bruce). Lee was predeceased by her husband, Bill, on April 5, 1976 and her son, Bill Jr., on June 4, 1990.
Lee was born in Edmonton and attended Oliver, Garneau, and Scona Schools. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, housewife, volunteer, passionate gardener, artist, and avid sports fan. Lee deeply believed in family and God and this gave her the ability to meet and overcome the many adversities in her lifetime.
The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 2:30 p.m., at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 - 114 Street, Edmonton.
