Peggy Sodeman, of Camrose, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2011 after a lengthy illness at the age of 73. Left to mourn are her partner, Tommy Kroeger of Camrose, and his family, Christopher (Lisa) and Cheryl (Louie); brother Rolf (Joan) Krohn of Saskatoon and their children, Michelle (Shane) Weimer, and son Samuel, Rolf Garnet Krohn and son, Cayman of Nelson, B.C. Peggy is also survived by cousins Hans Fredrick (Lillibet) Krohn of Oslo, Norway and Richard (Gila) Freeberg of Santa Rosa, Ca. She was predeceased by her parents, Margaret Inga Krohn and Eugene Sodeman and her grandparents, Rolf and Margaret Krohn. Peggy was born in Consort, Alberta on October 30th, 1937. She was an avid knitter and crafter. It was this gift that encouraged her and her mother, Inga, to open "MI Yarn Shop", a specialty wool and craft store, first in the Wetaskiwin Mall and later in Camrose. It was here where she met her soul mate, Tommy. They spent many wonderful times together, and during this time, Peggy also became very close to Tommy's family. The family would like to thank the staff and doctors of the St. Mary's Hospital for making Peggy's last days as comfortable as possible and instead of flowers, it is asked that donations in Peggy's name, be made to the hospital. As requested, there will be no service of bereavement.
Hilda Klassen

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Hilda Klassen, of Tofield Alberta, on Saturday, November 20th, 2010 in her 83rd year. She faced her illness with grace, courage, humor and an abiding faith in God.
Hilda was predeceased by her husband Aron (Arney) Klassen and survived by her children Gwen (Milt) Kathy (Dennis) Beth (Ron) Aron (Candace) Marge (Doug) and her brother John Penner. She will be sadly missed and remembered with love.
A memorial service will be held at the Tofield Mennonite Church, 5634 - 47 St., Tofield at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 26, 2010. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the MCC (Mennonite Central Committee).
Martha Adams

Martha Magdalene Liske Adams (nee Neumann) passed away November 19th, 2010 in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 87. She was predeceased by her husband Garry and son Ronnie Liske, sisters Hertha Litke and Erna Greenwall, brother Henry, and son-in-law Bob Tackaberry. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving children, daughters Darlene Tackaberry of Edmonton and Sharon (Darrell) Adams of Courtenay, BC and son Terry (Thelma) Liske of Regina, SK and nine grandchildren and their families. She is also survived by her husband Robert W. Adams, two sisters Margaret Reich and Esther DeBord, and one brother Fred Neumann.
Martha’s life was marked by devotion to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and with loyalty and deep affection for her family. The memory of her life is honored by her family and friends and those she met along the way because she loved God and displayed the spirit of humility, self-sacrifice, hospitality and the heart of a servant to all who knew her.
A funeral service for Martha will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 26, 2010 at the Camrose Church of God, 4722 – 55th Street. Interment will follow at the Camrose Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Camrose Church of God in memory of Martha Adams.

Connie Myers of Camrose, Alberta passed away on December 17, 2010 at the age of 55 years. She is survived by her daughters Susan and Nancy. She was predeceased by her husband Lyle. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 6, 2010 at Weber's Mount Pleasant Chapel, Camrose. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Wayne Specht

Wayne Specht of Camrose, Alberta was born at Spryfield, Nova Scotia on July 15, 1948. He passed away in Camrose, on July 6, 2009 at the age of 60 years.
He is survived by one daughter Alisha; three sisters Theresa (Norman) Hanlan, Patricia (Craig) Wilcox and Barb McWhirter; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Wayne was predeceased by three brothers Joseph, Raymond and Andrew and one brother-in-law Wade McWhirter.
A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 10, 2009, at Weber's Mount Pleasant Chapel, Camrose. Memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
Donald Horricks

Donald William Horricks of Tofield, was born at Westlock, Alberta on September 16, 1927. He passed away on July 19, 2009 in Tofield, at the age of 81 years.
He is survived by his wife May; two daughters Jude Yeo and Lynn (Ed) Bushie; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great-great grandson; one brother Robert (Edith); and one sister Mary Ash.
He was predeceased by one grandson Shane Yeo.
A memorial service was held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at the Tofield Funeral Chapel (5107-49 Street). Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
Geraldine Johnson

Geraldine Johnson of Camrose, formerly of Lougheed was born on August 8, 1910. She passed away in Camrose on October 27, 2010 at the age of 100 years.
She is survived by four children, Gerald Larson, Dale Larson, Linda Osbak, Jack (Shirley) Johnson; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
At Geraldine's request no Funeral Services will be held. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Alzheimer's Society or to the charity of one's choice.
