It is with great sadness that her family is announcing her passing. Dolores was predeceased by her husband Ralph, her parents, Lela and Coleman Morgan, and her brother Russell and infant brother David Morgan. Dolores is survived by her five children, Laura (Doug) McLauchlin, Linda (Terry) Hebhardt, Jim (Deb) Way, Rod (Rachel) Way and Cheryl (Chris) Ptak. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Kasey (Callen), Kari (Dirk), Kim, Kellie, Erin (Shola), Bob, Morgan, Connie; and her two great-grandsons, Jordan and Luke. Dolores had many relatives and friends in Calgary and Strathmore and a favorite aunt Vivian McConnell of Portland, Oregon whom will greatly miss her. Dolores enjoyed playing shuffleboard at the Kensington Legion, which she was a member of for twenty-four years, she made many dear friends there. Mom we love you and we will miss you. GUIDOLIN -- Mr. John William Guidolin passed away suddenly at home on November 7, 1997 at the age of 54 years. He is survived by his wife Nancy; daughter Andrea; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Cheryl; mother Anne; brothers, Vic and Frank and families; as well as numerous extended family and friends. HAYDON -- Helen Marjorie Haydon, beloved wife of Wilfred Haydon, passed away November 5, 1997 at the age of 85 at the Glenmore Park Auxiliary. Helen was born April 21, 1912 in Port Arthur, Ontario. The family moved to Swift Current, Saskatchewan where her father was a city engineer. Later the family moved to Edmonton where she completed high school and commercial school. On October 17, 1942 she married Wilfred Evans Haydon. For fifty years they resided in Edmonton and in April of 1992 they moved to Calgary to be near their children. In November of 1994, Helen moved into Glenmore Park and in May of 1996, Wilf joined her there. She is survived by her husband Wilfred; her children, Ron and Carolyn of Calgary; as well as Ron's wife Chris and their two daughters, Cathy of Ottawa and Darlene of Calgary. She is also survived by brother Jim (Olive) Calder of Renfrew, Ontario; and sisters-in-law, Gladys New of Calgary, Elsie Calder and Fran Calder, both of Edmonton. She was predeceased by her brothers, John and Hector. Helen was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was intensely proud of her two granddaughters. Special thanks to the staff of Glenmore Park for the loving care she received. SIEGL -- Maria, aged 73 years, of Calgary, passed away November 6, 1997 at her residence. Beloved mother of Maggie Flynn (Neil), St. Albert, Hans Siegel (Anna Mae) of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Mark Siegel, Carla-Marie Peebles, Tania Nahulak, Brandy Flynn, Michael Nahulak and Melody Flynn. Born in Vienna, Austria, she came to Edmonton, Canada in 1952. She was President of the United Ostomy Association of Canada and devoted many years to improving the quality of life for Ostomates worldwide. STOKES -- Amy Bernice, beloved wife of the late George Stokes, passed away peacefully at Vulcan Extendicare, November 6, 1997 at the age of 80 years. Amy was born March 24, 1917 at Armada, Alberta to George and Sara Craine. She received all her education at the Sunny Plains School in Armada. In 1937 she moved with her parents to Springbank where she helped them on the Dairy Farm. She married George "Jim" Stokes on November 29, 1939. Amy and Jim moved to the farm in Armada and raised their family. They farmed until George's passing in 1967. A few years later Amy moved to Calgary. In 1973 she moved to Vulcan where she was very active in the Drop in Centre, Friends and Meals on Wheels. In 1977 Amy returned home to Lomond. She enjoyed oil painting, teaching her granddaughters to knit, games of all kinds, and travelling with relatives and friends. She canvassed for the Canadian Cancer Society for many years and was a member of the Armada Community Club for over fifty years. Her door was always open for friends and relatives alike as Amy always made friends easily. She was ready to go anywhere at anytime and was always there to give rides to doctors appointments, go shopping, or for family visits. Time spent watching her grandchildren play hockey or figure skate was very special to Amy. She loved her grandchildren and would do almost anything for them. Amy moved to Vulcan Extendicare where she has resided for the past five years, first at Peter Dawson Lodge and then Extendicare. She will be dearly missed by family and friends far and near. Loving mother of two daughters, Mavis Stokes of Calgary and Tuny (Ken) Hart of Lomond; two sons, Chuck (Arlene) and Norman (Terry), all of Lomond; thirteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Maurine McLeod of Parkland and Myrtle Eriksen of Calgary; numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband George in 1967, infant son Andy, grandson Ryan, sister Doris, brother Herb, infant sister Lola, six brothers-in-law, and her parents. Funeral Service Monday November 10, 1997 at 2:00 p.m. at Vulcan United Church, Vulcan with Pastor Ed Fisher and Rev. Don Watt officiating. Interment Vulcan Cemetery. BIGGAR -- Robert Andrew Hamilton Biggar passed away at home in Strathmore on October 24, 1997 at the age of 76 years. Bob was born February 18, 1921 in Strathmore and has resided in the area most of his life. He is survived by his loving wife Mildred; his daughter Jane (Brian) Taylor; and son Terry (Donna); five grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sons, Ed and Allen, and one daughter Linda.
