GEREIN, Donna Kay (Balkwill) passed away peacefully on June 6, 2000 at Montmartre, Saskatchewan after courageously fighting cancer for five years. Donna was born at Conquest, SK on June 11, 1935. She began her banking career in 1952 retiring from Capital City Credit Union in Edmonton in 1995. Donna had a zest for life and will be fondly remembered by friends and family. She is survived by her husband, Ned Gerein, Montmartre, SK, Bill Balkwill and Lois Porter, Edmonton AB, Reta (Glen) Burlingame, Canwood, SK, Pete Balkwill, Vernon, B.C., Lil Mack (Joe) Montmartre, SK, "her kids" - all her nieces and nephews; best friend, Joyce McRae, Conquest, SK. No Funeral Service. Donna's cremains will rest with her family in Fertile Valley Cemetery, Conquest.

GLASS, Glorya Marie On Tuesday, June 6, 2000, Glorya Marie Glass passed away in the Royal Alexandra Hospital at the age of 74 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul; four sons, Joseph, John (Judy), James (Carol) and Peter; two daughters, Heather (Don) Bell and Lorraine Glass; as well as 10 grandchildren and many other friends and relatives. GRAN, Niels On June 7, 2000, Mr. Neils Gran of Edmonton died peacefully at the age of 98 years. He is survived by one nephew, Niels Grand of Denmark and many friends of Ansgar Church & Villa. He is survived by his wife and soul mate, Edith; his loving children, Randy (Karin), Louann (Lyle), Rick (Michelle), Patti-Lynn (D'Arcy); his 11 beloved grandchildren; brothers, Nick (Hilda), George; sister, Rose (John); brother-in-law, Bill; sister-in-law, Martha; several dear nieces and nephews. HARMAN, Robert Ivan On Wednesday, June 7, 2000 at 11:00 p.m., Ivan (age 91) passed away peacefully with his family by his side. In all his actions and relations Ivan gave honor to the title "Gentleman." A true gentleman; his strong sense of values, leadership, and integrity built a backbone for his family and a proud legacy for his future generations. The memory of his wit and charm will bring a smile to those who knew him and he will be greatly missed. Ivan is survived by his son, Glen (Linda) of Saltair, B.C.; daughter, Gladys Murray (Bayne) of Edmonton, daughter-in-law, Grace Harman of Black Diamond; grandchildren, Darrell (Lynn), Rob (Barb), Brad (Lisa), Leah (Allan), Kyle (Colleen), Bryn (Maril), Cory (John), and Jaryd; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Max, Sam, Ben, Tom, Duncan, Conan, Alex; brother, Milt (Ev); sister, Ann; and sister-in-law, Maisie of Westbank, B.C.; dear brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces; and special friend Genevieve Dalbeck. LANDRY, Arthur (Art) Joseph On June 6, 2000, Art Landry passed away peacefully at the age of 82 years, after a brief illness. He went home to be with his Lord and Saviour. Art leaves to mourn his loss, his loving wife of 55 years, Marie-Anna. He also leaves to mourn his loss his children, Rene, his wife Jean and their children, Paul, Marc, Dominique and Eric; Charlotte; Laurier, his wife Deborah and their children, Elise and David; Claudette, her husband Dan Leger and their children, Justin and Lianne; and Janine. Art also leaves his brother, John and his wife, Helen. Art was predeceased by his parents, Omer and Bertha; one sister, Albertine; five brothers, Albert, Romeo, Oscar, Paul and Rene. MYDAN, Henry Steve February 24, 1940 - June 7, 2000 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father and best friend who passed away from a stroke on June 7, 2000 at the age of 60 years. Henry leaves to mourn Judy, his wife and very best friend of 35 years; his two sons, Mark of White Rock, B.C. and Scott (Liza) of Edmonton; brothers, Larry and family of Edmonton and Ernie (Phyllis) and family of Regina; as well as many dear family and close friends.
