It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Lynn Diane Pellerin on April12, 2008 at the age of 55 years.
Left to cherish her memory are, husband, Aime Pellerin; her children, Scott (Michelle), and Steve (Cora); 8 grandchildren, parents, Ken and Claire Bond; two brothers and three sisters, Joanne (Doug), Gary (Judy), Jim, Brenda (Jerry), and Wendy (Murray); and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her sister, Darlene; and brother, Ronnie.
A Celebration of Lynn's Life will be held on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton.
A special thank you to the staff at the ICU and the Special Services Unit at the Foothills Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
Dr. Fred C. Bentley

On April 12, 2008, C. Fred Bentley passed away at the age of 94 years.
He is survived by his children; Ann (Brian) Manson, and Ted (Louise) Bentley; his grandchildren: Catherine (Michael) Black, Cameron Bentley (Leigh-Ann Fenwick), Robert Manson (Sonia Zimmerman), and Seena (Mark) Handel; and his great-grandchildren: Jessica, James, and Julian Black, and Nadia Bentley Fenwick; and his brother, Phillip (Lorraine) Bentley. He was predeceased by his wife Helen.
Fred spent his life working in agriculture and sustainable development, nationally and internationally. He was a significant participant in the Green Revolution of agriculture, particularly in India and Thailand. Many organizations and countries honoured Fred for his professional vision and contributions.
A tribute to Fred's life will take place on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton.

On April 9, 2008 Carl Stepanick of Edmonton passed away at the age of 92 years. Carl is survived by his sisters, Jean, Carol, Helen and Josephine along with many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife, Mary, brother Mike and sister Marge. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at South Side Memorial Chapel (8310 – 104 St.)
Interment will follow in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.

On April 11, 2008 John Stetsko passed away at the age of 89 years.
He is survived by his children: Susie (Brian) Jones, Terry (Alice) Stetsko, son-in-law Bill Borty, seven grandchildren: Scott, Dan, Jamie, Sam, Peter, Christa and Jenny and nine great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Jenny and daughter Linda Borty.
John will be rememberd by his special friend Francis and her children Carol, Kelly, Michael and Kris.
In keeping with John's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road.
Donations in memory of John may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Norwood Branch No. 178.
Mr. John Alfred "Jeff" Ross
June 13, 1934 - April 4, 2008
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Jeff. Born June 13, 1934, he passed from our presence April 04, 2008. Born in Pollockville, Alberta, Jeff moved with his parents to B.C., settling in Steveston in 1943. Taking to the water and fishing at the age of fifteen, he spent almost 60 years as a fisherman up and down the coast. He was happiest on the water and liked the solitude it presented. When his father passed, he assumed the role of patriarch and looked after his family throughout his life, always enjoying the family gatherings. Predeceased by his first wife Jean and older brother Don, Jeff leaves to mourn his wife; Pat, brother Frank (Margaret), Kurtis (Connie), sister-in-law Helen, sisters Harriet, Corinne (Ed), Doris, Carolyn, Jean (Norm), many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, he will be greatly missed by all of us remaining. There will be a Funeral service and tea to celebrate Jeff's Life at the Steveston United Church, 3720 Broadway St, Richmond, B.C. on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation, #200 - 4940 Canada Way, Burnaby, B.C. Mrs. Irene Pickford
September 12, 1915 - April 8, 2008
On April 8, 2008, Irene Pickford passed away at the age of 92.
She is survived by her loving family: Five children, John (Jean), Joyce (Ken), Ray (Fran), George (Nit), Mary (Cook); Eleven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren;other relatives and friends.
Irene was predeceased by her husband, Trevor in 1995; her son, Thomas in 2006; granddaughter, Cathleen in 1962.
A Funeral Service will be held at Glenwood Funeral Home, south of Wye Road, on Range Road 232, Sherwood Park, on Saturday April 12, 2008 at 10:00 am, interment to follow at the Glenwood Memorial Gardens
