Mrs. Shirley Jane Rees

Shirley passed away at home on March 11, 2010 at the age of 67.
She is survived by her daughter Dana (Gord), sons Grant & Cory (Paulina), grandchildren Rhys, Jordyn, Jacob, Courtney & Ryan, sisters; Lorraine, Joanne, Georgette & Barb and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Bill.
At Shirleys request, no service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute.
She will be sadly missed by family and friends.

John Henry Smyth
November 14, 1921 - March 31, 2008
John Henry Smyth born in Medicine Hat, Alberta on November 14, 1921 passed away at the Extendicare Cedars Villa on March 31, 2008 at the age of 86 years.
John is the beloved husband of Jean Smyth.
Besides his loving wife, John is also survived by his children Susan Richards (Bruce) of Moose Jaw, SK, Gerald Smyth (Marg) of Calgary, and Gregory Smyth (Leah) of Calgary as well as four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He will also be lovingly remembered by his sister Dot Smyth.
Dad asked that no formal services be held.
Relatives and friends are invited to an open house at 105 Straddock Crescent SW on Friday, April 4, 2008 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Mr. Richard Thomas Paynter
February 21, 1944 - March 29, 2008
On March 29, 2008, Mr. Richard Paynter passed away at the age of 64 years.
He leaves behind his wife Marion, sons: Rick (Ingrid), Rob, Joe, Troy (Janice) and his daughter Tegan as well as his six grandchildren: Jesse, Chelsey, Dylan, Quinn, Rory and Noah.
In keeping with Richard's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.

PALM-Judy Marlene, beloved wife of Richard of Calgary, passed away unexpectedly at home on March 26, 2008, at the age of 53 years.
Judy will be lovingly remembered by her sons: Richard and Ronnie; brothers: Richard, Robert and Michael and other family members.
She was predeceased by her parents Ron and Una Baxter.

June 20, 1927 - March 24, 2008
Bill Schumaker, beloved husband of Joyce of Didsbury, was welcomed into His Lord's arms on March 24, 2008 at age 80.
He will also be lovingly remembered by his children: Darlene (Randy) , Sandi (Dan), David and Brian (Ursula); grandchildren: Pamela, Darren, Mark, Jonathan, Desirée, Jessica, Sabrina, Stephanie and Vienna; his three brothers and two sisters and their families.
Bill was predeceased by his wife Elvera (Dolly) on March 28, 2001 and grandchildren David, Catherine, Sherri and Matthew, as well as by his parents Peter and Catherine.
A visitation will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home on Thursday, March 27, 2008 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (1500 23 Street, Didsbury) on Friday, March 28, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.
Graveside Service will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.

SHAUGHNESSY - Donna L. of Calgary, passed away at the Rockyview Hospital on March 20, 2008, at the age of 70 years.
Donna will be lovingly remembered by her children, Janet (Bruce) Brown, Cheryl Shaughnessy, Randy (Tracy) Shaughnessy, Timothy Shaughnessy, Sherry (Mike) Noelle, Tammy Shaughnessy; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband John in 2007 and her son Ken Shaughnessy.

RAYMOND - Edna Violet, beloved wife of Mr. Maurice Raymond of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Colonel Belcher Care Centre on March 19, 2008, at the age of 83 years.
Edna will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Wendy (Diane), Heather Brian, Gail and Nancy; five grandchildren, Kevin, Nicole (Marcel), Elizabeth, Stephanie and Alexander.
She is also survived by one brother as well as numerous extended family members.
Edna was predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Lena Johns and one brother.
