It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Mr. Al Mack at the age of 75 years.
Al is survived by his children: Linda-Lee (Doug) Fielding, Brian Allister (Joanne) Mack, Timothy John Mack, Teresa Ann Giegold, Rodney Dale Mack, Trudi Allison (Fevzi) Cakmak, Dean Michael Mack and Robyn Marie (Duane) Mack, 18 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, his 10 siblings: Cyril, Vernice, Gary, Gilbert, Bervin, Wilmer, Lyonel, Sandra, Ramona and Sharon as well as numerous other family and friends.
Al was predeceased by his parents, his wife Doreen, and his grandson Kevin.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Emmaus Lutheran Church, 5015 - 144 Avenue, Edmonton.
Interment will follow at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
Donations in memory of Al may be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital.
Mrs. Edna Rattray
June 29, 1927 - March 25, 2008
It is with great sorrow that we, the family, announce the passing of Edna Rattray, who passed away with dignity and grace, after a long and courageous battle with cancer at the Agape Hospice on Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at the age of 80 years.
She will be forever cherished and lovingly remembered by her husband of 62 years, James; her children: Norma Jean, Ron (Shaun), Dennis (Jan); eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister Lily and numerous other family members.
Edna was predeceased by her granddaughter Deby Lynn, three sisters and one brother.
Edna and Jim were married in Medicine Hat in 1945.
Their home was always open to family, friends and friends to be.
Edna’s culinary expertise and high standards meant there was only one way to do things and that was “Edna’s Way”.
She loved cooking, baking, preserving, sewing, quilting, needlework, entertaining, dancing, camping, fishing and above all her family.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Mountain View Funeral Home on Sunday, March 30, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
A Celebration of Edna’s Life will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home on Monday, March 31, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.
Interment to follow in the Garden of Heritage, Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
If so desired, a memorial donation may be made in Edna’s name directly to the Agape Hospice (1302 - 8 Avenue NW, Calgary, AB, T2N 1B8) or to the Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation (200, 119 - 14 Street NW, Calgary, AB, T2N 1Z6).

Violet Schoen (Grotzki)
March 25, 1921 - March 22, 2008
On March 22, 2008 Violet Schoen of Edmonton passed away at the age of 86 years.
She will be missed and remembered by three children; Earl (Polly), Grotzki, Rose (Gordon) Traverse, and Sheila (Doug) Murray, eight grandchildren; Dawn, Beth, Amber (Marcel), Robert, Elizabeth (Keith), Michael, Christopher, Amity and one great grandson Sean.
Violet is also survived by her sister, Annie, and two brothers; Leander (Jean) and Pat.
Violet was predeceased by her husband Merel, brothers Joe and Maurice, and sister Pearl.
Violet was born in St. Walburg, Saskatchewan.
She spent most of her life as a homemaker and had many hobbies and interests.
The last few years of her life were spent at Capital Care Lynnwood.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton.

Mrs. May Ruby Templeman
January 21, 1917 - March 10, 2008
On March 10, 2008, May Templeman passed away at the age of 91.
May is survived by her children: John, Wayne, Bruce (Val); grandchildren: Robert, Ian, Sean, Kimberly (Steve), Kelly; great grandchildren: William, Wesley, Shelby, Tessa, and Cole.
She was predeceased by her husband, Wesley, and daughter, Linda.
A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Evergreen Funeral Chapel (16204 Fort Road, Edmonton) with interment to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
Miss Eleanor Roth
July 1, 1931 - March 18, 2008
On March 18, 2008, Eleanor Roth of Leduc passed away at the age of 76.
Eleanor is survived by her brother-in-law, Mel Dobson, two nieces, Colleen Dobson and Shauna (Kevin) Brady, all of Edmonton, as well as many relatives and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents (Walter and Edna Roth), and sister (Verna Dobson).
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 26 at 12:00 Noon at South Side Memorial Chapel 8310-104 Street.
Interment at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

April 6, 1928 - March 18, 2008
On March 18, 2008, Paul Stabel passed away at the age of 79.
He is survived by his loving family: wife, Sally; Six children, Norm (Sherryl), Rosemarie (Brian), Louise (Morley), Arnie (Debbie), Irvin, and Richard; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers and four sisters; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Paul was predeceased by his grandson, Darren; his parents, Julius and Helene; two brothers, Otto and Frank.
A Visitation will be held at Glenwood Funeral Home, south of Wye Road, on Range Road 232, Sherwood Park, on Sunday, March 23, 2008 from 2:00-4:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at Glenwood Funeral Home, on Monday, March 24, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at the Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
