Heaven became a little bit more rock ‘n’ roll on June 25, 2012 as Keith passed away at the age of 54 surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Keith will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Sharon of 25 years and daughter Lauren (Adrian). Keith was predeceased by his parents David and Margaret Milner and his son Cory Mykyte. Keith was a gentle soul who loved reading, music, bonfires, and the cabin. He leaves behind two great communities of friends, his fellow musicians at the West Edmonton Music Society and many life-long friends at Bilby, his second home.
The family would like to say a special Thank– You to Keith’s Palliative care Nurses from Kingsway homecare (Linda James) as well as the warm and loving community of nurses on unit 54 at the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
A Memorial Service for Keith will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church (10127 — 145 Street, Edmonton) on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 3:00 pm. Donations may be made to the food bank in memory of Keith. A collection box and donation envelopes will be available at the service.
KRUCIEN, Chester
On June 5, 2012, Chester Krucien passed away at the age of 69 years.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at South Haven Cemetery (5004 Meridian Street NW, Edmonton).
de Moissac, Noreen (nee O’Keefe)
On Saturday, June 23, 2012 Noreen de Moissac of Edmonton passed away at the age of 83 years.
Noreen will be lovingly remembered by her husband Paul; two children: Colleen (Al), Michael (Donna); three grandchildren: Jodie (Jeff), Michelle and Paige; two great– grandchildren: Emma and Rhys. She was predeceased by her parents and four brothers.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church, 7508 — 29 Avenue, Edmonton, AB at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to the Cross Cancer Institute or the Caritas Hospital Foundation.
CORNELIUS, Edith Ellen
May 12, 1930 — June 17, 2012
Predeceased by her husband Donald, son Tim and one daughter Joyce, two grandchildren Angelie and Tom. Edith is survived by four daughters and three sons; Irene, Donna (John), Carol (Gordon), Laura, Dale (Jodi), James (Shelly), Randy (Nancy), also numerous grandchildren and great– grandchildren and many friends.
Cremation has taken place. Respecting mother’s wishes there will be no funeral service.
BOVEN, Marten
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Marten Boven of Edmonton on June 13, 2012.
He is lovingly remembered by Bernice, his wife of 54 years; three children: Troy (Laurie) Boven, Laureen (Garry) Hoffman, Bradley (Vivian) Boven and four grandchildren: Ryan, Cody, Brandon and Adam.

QUIRK, Sharon Ruth (nee Clark)

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Sharon Ruth Quirk after a brief battle with cancer. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 40 years (Greg);

She was predeceased by her parents Lelland and Ina Clark, sisters Pansy and Patsy and brother Aubrey.
Sharon was born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, later moving to Coldstream. Upon completion of high school, she entered the Victoria General School of Radiography (Halifax) graduating in 1967. She was a dedicated X-ray technologist who loved her profession. She enjoyed all of the places it took her to work, including Truro, NS; London, England; Yellowknife, NWT; and Leduc, AB.

Sharon’s greatest loves were family, travelling with Greg and being close to her sons. Her interests included reading, needlework and being surrounded by friends. Her good friend Carolyn offered many hours of comfort, treats and conversation. She also enjoyed the companionship of a special group of ladies who were her Circle of Friends. A special bond was shared with Michelle.

Respecting Sharon’s wishes, no funeral or public memorial will be held. Cremation has taken place.
LEHANKY, Paul
It is with great sadness that our family announces the peaceful passing of our father Paul Lehanky on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at the age of 70 years.
Paul will be lovingly remembered by his son Brent; daughter Loree; grandsons: Jacob, Parker and many, many close friends.
Paul was a wonderful and generous man, who truly cherished time with his friends and family. He spent his summers at his home at Alberta Beach, and the winters in Maui. He was a wonderful father and friend and will be truly missed each and everyday. We feel blessed to have known and loved him.
Many thanks to the staff at The Royal Alexandra Hospital, where he received wonderful and compassionate care, that will not be forgotten.

On June 16, 2012 Nancy A. Keith of Edmonton passed away at the age of 92 years.
She is survived by four sons, four daughters, 24 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and one sister. She was predeceased by her husband Norman, one son and one daughter.

It is with great sadness that the family of Deborah Holt announces that she has been called to be with her Lord and Saviour, on June 20, 2012. Deborah shared her final days surrounded by those who loved her, which gave her great peace.
She will be dearly missed by her husband of 49 years Don; son, David; daughter, Karin (Michael); grandchildren: Katrina and Miranda Holt, Reghan and Karlynn Versteege. Deborah also leaves behind her brother, Arthur (Irene) Jaworsky and sister, Hertha (Bruno) Buchstein, as well as many other cherished nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A special thanks to all of the people who have shown so much kindness and support over the past few months in dealing with Deborah’s illness.
A Celebration of Deborah’s Life will be held on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church, 298 Bethel Drive, Sherwood Park, AB. Larry W. Anderson, of Mundare, Alberta passed away peacefully at the age of 54 years at the Lamont Hospital.

Beloved father and grandfather passed away on June 20, 2012. He is survived by his children; daughter Darlene Harris; son Kim Locken; granddaughter Candace Harris; grandson Andrew Harris. Dennis was predeceased by his daughter Linda Locken.
He has wished there to be no funeral services.

KRISTENSEN, Egon
Egon Kruse Kristensen passed away peacefully at home on June 15th, 2012 at the age of 81 years.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 53 years, Solvejg; his children: Hanne (Wes) Newman, Eric (Theresa), Alice (Warren) Griffin, Ralph (Susan), and Nancy (Howard) Ogonoski; 10 grandchildren: Sarah, Joanne, Brett (Renee), Aaron, Kari, Graham, Charles (Laurie), Amanda (Liam), Juleigh and Janelle; three great-granddaughters; his sister Herdis (Ove) Klostergaard; his brother Leif (Rosa).
A very special thanks to all of those who assisted him and his family in his final days, especially Dr. Debbie Semeniuk; nurses Suzanne, Marilyn and Hawa.

ILESIC, Brian Curtis
Born on September 16, 1976
We are deeply grieved by the news of Brian’s sudden death. Brian (35) was on duty when a tragic incident occurred on June 15, 2012.
Brian leaves to mourn his devoted parents Mike and Dianne Ilesic, grandparents Paul and Irene Stosky, brothers and their wives Keith and Renee, Greg and Marija and two nephews, and Johnny. Also important in his life were his uncles and aunts Don and Karen Stosky, David and Janet Stosky, Gary and Eileen Stosky, Yvonne and Ivan Rozanc, Mary and Tony Thibideau, Henry Ilesic. His cousins Jordan, Steven, Tori, Adam, Jason, Danielle and Rob will remember Brian as a fun loving man. Brian leaves to mourn numerous close friends and acquaintances. Most importantly, Brian leaves behind his precious daughter Kiannah Ilesic. Even though he was taken from us much too soon, he will always be with us in spirit. His special smile was infectious, his heart was enormous, and we will forever cherish our memories of him.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 3:30 p.m. at Northpointe Community Church 14025–167 Avenue. Donations can be made to North Edmonton Christian Fellowship Church on behalf of the Brian Ilesic Memorial Fund.
TUFTIN, Mabel
On June 19, 2012, Mabel Tuftin of Drayton Valley passed away at the age of 92 years.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Colleen (Ray) Spink of Edmonton, son Nelson ”Nels” (Iris) Tuftin of Drayton Valley, seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews and friends in the Drayton Valley and Sangudo areas.
Mabel was predeceased by her husband Herman in 1991, parents John and Edith Edgar, and eight brothers, Ed, Norman, Stan, Cyril, Urwin, Roy, Jim and Jack.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Church, Sangudo, Alberta with Reverend David Pipe officiating and Interment to follow at the Stanger Cemetery.
If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Stanger Cemetery Fund.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our loved one. Kay slipped away from us on June 18, 2012 as she peacefully slept at home.
She leaves behind her only surviving son Cecil and Betty Wycott, sister Lottie Steele, son-in-law Dennis Tooke, niece Sharron and John Sissons, and great-niece Carrie-Jean. Kay was predeceased by her husband Harry, brother Bert, and children Connie, Bud and Muriel.
Her grandchildren were a huge part of her life and she cherished the times she got to spend with them. Sherry, Gerald, Sandra, Cathy, Kelly, Jennifer, Curtis, Karen and Leslie. Great-grandchildren Michelle, Matthew, Courtney, Kassidy, Daniel, Niklas, Christina, Taryn, Dallys, Bradyn, Dustyn, Justine, Brandon, Sarah, Ashley, Michelle and Tyler. Great-great-grandchildren Tameika Rose and Cole Lucas.
Grandma you will be missed and we love you very much. Rest in Peace.
At Grandma’s request there will no funeral service, but we will have a celebration of her life at a later date.
