It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Cynthia Dawn McDougall (Sweeney) on June 20th, 2003 surrounded by family and friends who were enjoying another one of her famous get together's. Cynthia was born on November 12th, 1958 to Eric Sweeney and Andree Jerome-North whom she leaves to mourn. She is also survived by her husband of 20 years Colin as well as their children Sean, Adam and Christina McDougall. She leaves behind her brothers Martin (Anne), Stephen (Kerri), Sean (Olishka), Derek (Anna), and sister-in-law Lynne. Cynthia will be sadly missed by her in-laws John (Barb) McDougall and their family Lynne (Paul), Wendy (Mike), Tim (Monique), John (Regina), Gwen (Al). She was predeceased by her mother-in-law Helen, and her brother Glenn who has been in heaven patiently waiting for her. Aunty Cynthia also leaves to mourn numerous nieces, nephews and family friends who will now be forever denied attending her famous summertime barbeques. We love you Cynthia and know that finally you are pain free and have found the serenity you so richly deserved. Our family cannot express in words the debt of gratitude for the support and help from Dr. Tymchak, Dr. J R Burton, Eileen Burton and their wonderful staff at The University of Alberta Heart Transplant Department. On June 21, 2003 Tyler David Robert Okrainetz of Edmonton passed away suddenly at the age of 17 years. On June 21, 2003, Alexander Procinsky of Edmonton, formerly of Lamont, Alberta, passed away at the age of 75. He will be fondly missed and remembered by his loving family and friends. Alex is survived by his children Elaine Sutton of Calgary, Myrna Longair (Terry) of Lethbridge, and Daryl Procinsky (Joy) of Edmonton; and five grandchildren Tristan, Ashley, Elyse, Elizabeth and Julie. On June 21st, 2003, Lill Russell of Edmonton, Alberta passed away at the University of Alberta Hospital at the age of 83 years. Lill is survived by her loving husband, Bill of 63 years of Marriage. Lill was predeceased by her daughter, Joan (Irwin) December 25, 1995 and her brother Clarence Gamber May 4, 1991. She is also survived by her sons, Wayne (Jeanette), Allan (Marge), son-in-law, Howard Irwin. Grandchildren Darren (Arlene) Irwin, Danielle (Paul) Coco, Lynn Russell (Barry), Todd Russell (Sheila), Ryan Russell and Michelle Russell; great grandchildren, Tamsyn and Jacqui Irwin, Jesica and Marisa Coco. On June 15th, 2003 Donald passed away peacefully at the age of 73 years. Donald is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Audrey; two daughters, Donna (Dave), Deanna (Neil); four grandchildren, Craig, Cory, Samantha and Candace; one great-granddaughter, Tristan; one brother, Jim (Elaine); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. On October 29, 2003, Bob Scammell went home to be with his Lord after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Bob is survived by his wife and best friend, Brenda; son David (David), daughter Jan (Deni), son Bruce (Thelma) and their mother Marcia; step-daughter Leanne (John); grandchildren: Rebecca, Allison, Brady and Benjamin. Bob is also survived by his sister Patricia (Barry) McQueen and step-mother Alice Scammell. Bob was predeceased by his father Ernest, mother Edith and brother Ronald.
