On October 31, 2003 Mr. Teodor Semeniuk of Two Hills passed away at the age of 87 years. Teodor is survived by his loving wife, Eva; one son, Ihor (Simone) of Morinville; daughter-in-law, Diane (Frank) Skinner; five grandchildren, Jacqueline (Ashif), Tania, Debbie (Vijay), Donna (Bill), and Kristopher; and five great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his son, Roman in 1986; sisters, Fanny, Mary and Pearl; and brothers, John, Mike and Bill. STEWART, Pearl (Koroluk)
On October 29, 2003 Pearl Stewart died peacefully after living bravely through cancer. Born in Lamont, Alberta, on October 21, 1932, Pearl is survived by her loving husband, Andrew; daughters, Susan (Mark) and Carol; grandson, Brian; and mother, Mary Koroluk. Pearl also leaves to mourn her sisters, Lucy (Tom), Nadie (Ed) and many cousins and their families. The family would like to thank the doctors and the staff on Stations 30 and 31 at the Cross Cancer Institute, and Pearl's friends, for all their care and support. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul's United Church, 11526 - 75 Avenue, Edmonton. No flowers by request. Mr. Danny Swain of Mannville passed away in the Vermilion Health Centre on Friday, October 31, 2003 at the age of 71 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Evelyn of Mannville, children; Brian (Debra) of Sherwood Park, Grant (Nadene) of Vegreville, Howard of Calgary, Robert (Liz) of Vegreville and Shelley (Dave) Berry of Edmonton, grandchildren Justin, Nicole, Travis and A.J., mother Inez Swain and brother Allan (Edna) Swain all of Mannville, sisters Beryl Marshal of Edmonton and Loretta Kallas of St. Albert and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and friends. WARREN, Eleanor Pauline (nee Lindsay)
passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 30, 2003 at age 80. Eleanor is fondly remembered by her husband Ernest and her children Bruce (Carolyn), Pete (Sue), Chris (Guy), Kerry, Kelly (Lloyd) and Joe (Genevieve). JOHNS, Margaret E.
July 14, 1923 - November 17, 2003
Margaret E. Johns passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 17, 2003 at the age of 80 years. Margaret is survived by her son, Randy and her "adopted" daughter Barb Derkatz and family. Margaret also leaves behind her extended family Sandy Kelly and family from Red Deer, Alberta. Margaret also leaves behind many friends she made throughout her years, she touched so many people with her wonderful stories and her love of life. Her wonderful smile will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Afternoons on the Avenue will no longer be the same without Margaret walking down to Barb's Deli for her daily afternoon bowl of soup and coffee. It was the highlight of her day. Margaret may have been elderly, but she was very young at heart. Those who had the opportunity of having her in their lives are extremely lucky people. She truly was a gem. She can now join her friends Nancy and Norma, so that once again they can share their stories. At Margaret's request there will be no service held. Cremation.
