On September 5, 2004, James Garden passed away in a tragic accident at the age of 18 years. James will be remembered by his loving family, his parents, Peter and Diane; his sister, Nicole and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, too numerous to name. James graduated from JH Picard in 2003, he spent the last 6 months working for the Sheet Metal Workers' International Association Local #8, saving his earnings for his plan to attend the Electronic Engineering Technology program at NAIT. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 10, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at Hainstock's Funeral Home, 9810-34 Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation, 4th Floor Aberhart Centre 1, 11402 University Avenue, Edmonton, AB T6G-2J3. GIBSON, Wayne
1933 - 2004
On Sunday, September 5th, 2004 Wayne Douglas Gibson passed away at the age of 70. He will be missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Pearl; and five children: Greg (Chris), Lori (Ken), Sandra (Dean), Karen (Peter), and Randy; by ten grandchildren, Robin, Graham and Kathaleen Gibson; Steven and Michael Klein; Beau and Blaine Biddiscombe, Stephanie, Clinton and Colton Stahn. Wayne is also survived by sisters Fern and Joyce; and by brothers Alec, Grant, Gary and Gordon. Wayne is predeceased by his parents George and Gladys. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Waugh Polish Hall, officiated by Pastor Morris Watson. Mr. Roy Gilbert of Stony Plain passed away aged 70 years. Roy is survived by his wife Paulette; two sons: Simpson and Leroy (Sandy) and three sisters: Fay, Jean and Fern. On September 10, 2004, Bernie Kershaw of Edmonton passed away at the age of 87 years. Bernie is survived by his loving wife, Hazel of 48 years; children, Pat (John) Tennant of Ochiltree, Scotland and Michael David of Lewiston, Idaho; grandson, Sean (Sarah) Kotri of Sherwood Park and two great-granddaughters, Maddison and Alexa Kotri; mother-in-law, Anne Matzen of Camrose; sister-in-law, Helen Fenske of Calgary; nieces, Sharon Smith, Louanne Fenske and Laurie Fenske; nephews, Blaine (Delores) Fenske, Doug (Jacquie) Fenske, Marc (Cheryl) Fenske, Alan (Lora) Fenske and numerous great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Cornelius and Genevieve; brother, Neil; nephew, Noel; father-in-law, Sonke Matzen and brother-in-law, Harvey Fenske. On September 8, 2004 Mr. Nestor Kotyshyn passed away at the age of 85 years. He is survived by his loving wife Anne; children Ron (Chris), Geraldine (Jacques) Buresi and Rob (Karen); five grandchildren Jason (Kerry), Jon, Jessica, Michelle and Nicole; one great-granddaughter Katie; brothers Yeroslaw (Anne) and Orest; sisters Mildred and Isabel as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Annie passed away peacefully on September 7th, 2004 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Bill in 1983. Annie will be lovingly remembered by her children, Arthur and Joanne; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn, Monica and Trudy, and brother, Mark. MACHEL, Amanda
On September 8, 2004, Mrs. Amanda Machel of Edmonton, AB was called home to be with her Lord and Saviour. She was 95 years of age. Amanda is lovingly remembered by her three children: Erwin, Ilse (Horst) Zado and Edith (Erwin) Schmidtke; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
