LABBE, Pierre
On September 13, 2004, Pierre Labbe of Sherwood Park passed away peacefully at the age of 84 years. Pierre was a loving husband to his wife of fifty-four years, Annette; beloved father to Jules and Evelyn of Beaumont, Simone and Bill of Sherwood Park, Roland and Leslie of Edmonton, and Dorine of Langley, B.C.; grandchildren Kevin, Ryan, David, Kimberly, Genevieve and Catherine. Pierre is also survived by his dear brothers Joseph and Paul. His presence will be deeply missed by his family and friends. A Prayer Vigil will be held on Friday, September 17, 2004, at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 13-Brower Drive Sherwood Parl, Alberta, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 18, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. L'HEUREUX, Ken
On September 13, 2004 Ken passed away at the age of 73 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Mary; his son Doug (Becky); his daughter Barb (John) Norgard; eight grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ken was predeceased by his beloved son Bob. MacKINNON, Clarence Stuart
Stuart MacKinnon, a retired University of Alberta History Professor, long-time enthusiastic canoeist and hiker in the Canadian North, passed away on September 12, 2004 as a result of injuries sustained in a bicycle accident earlier in the summer. Stuart was born in Montreal on December 29, 1934. He was the son of the late Alstair and Ruth MacKinnon, the loving brother of Mairi Edge (William) of Ottawa and beloved uncle of Tom Edge (Gabrielle) of Toronto, Cynthia Phillips (Michael) of Munich, Germany and Diana Dowling (Joseph) of Greenwich, USA. Stuart will be sadly missed by his many friends and relatives. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 17, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Knox Metropolitan United Church, 8307-109 Street. McGOVERN, Pauline
On October 13, 2002, Pauline McGovern passed away at the age of 71. Pauline is survived by her devoted husband, Dr. Kenneth McGovern; daughters, Mary (Roy), Jane, Ann (Jim), Catherine; sons, Frank (Sheila), Tim (Erin); and grandchildren, Ryan, Stephanie, Kristen, Kevin and Aidan. Although our hearts are broken, "Nana's" beautiful spirit lives on in each of us. Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Monday, October 21 at St. John the Evangelist, in Lambton, NSW Australia. Karen Maria Ogg returned to the arms of God on October 15, 2002 at the age of 91 years. Karen is survived by her daughter, Monica and Tom Robertson; three grandchildren, Brad Simon, Keri and Stan Proskow, Kristi Robertson. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles; companion, Art Fraser; brothers, Vic, John and Olaf; sister, Erika. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 23 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Howard & McBride Westlawn, 16310 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton. Helen Marie Adele Perrott (Mageau) was born on April 11, 1919 in St. Lina, Alberta. She went to be with our Lord on Sunday, October 13, 2002. She is survived by her children, Richard, Roland (Sonia), Linda (Glen) Maskell, Shirley (Doug) Burneau; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Corine Trottier of Mission, B.C. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 18, 2002 at the Tofield Funeral Chapel, Tofield, Alberta. Cremation will follow the service.
