On August 25th, 2003, Mary Elsie Hubscher of Edmonton, formerly of Telfordville, passed away at the age of 83 years.
Mary is survived by her caring family, Ed (Ruth) Hubscher of Thorsby, Harvey (Shirley) Hubscher of Kelowna, Lorraine (George) McKay of Usona, Larry (Barb) Hubscher of Sherwood Park, Ron (Judy) Hubscher of Spruce Grove, Linda (John) Cox of Leduc, Wes (Deb) Hubscher of Devon and Dale (Brenda) Hubscher of Edmonton; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sally Forster of Thorsby, Esther (Ed) Felske of Devon and brothers Robert (Eva) Kruger, Harold (Mary) Kruger, both of Thorsby and Gus Kruger of Breton. Mary was predeceased by her loving husband Albert on August 27, 1995, her parents William and Amelia Kruger and a sister Herta.
Funeral Services were held on Monday, September 1, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at the Devon Alliance Church (Highway 60 & Miquelon Avenue, across from the Devon General Hospital) with Pastor Larry Froese officiating. Interment followed at the Telfordville United Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Warburg Baptist Church to the charity of one’s choice.

Beatrice Topps, of Leduc
Beatrice May Topps of Leduc passed away on June 27th, 2003 at the age of 94 years.
Beatrice is survived by her daughter Patricia (George) Musson of Leduc, grandchildren Christopher (Karen), Andrew (Tracy) and Claire, great-grandchildren Gregory, Brian and Jeffery; son Gordon (Margorie) of Athabasca, grandchildren Dione, Andre, Doug and Danielle, great-grandchildren Jessica and Rayannan.
A celebration of Beatrice’s life will be held on the 12th of July, 2003 at 2:00 pm in the Lions Hall, 5023 - 49 St., Millet. Cremation has already taken place.
Patricia Mary Twyman, of Leduc

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Patricia Mary Twyman of Salem Manor Nursing Home, Leduc on August 22, 2004 at the age of 91 years. A true lady, small of stature with a big heart and generous soul.
Left to cherish her memory are her son Christopher Twyman (Jan), son John Twyman (Vida), daughter Patricia Mansell (Paul); her grandchildren Kerry, Kimberley, Craig, Sarah, Ashley, Alexandra and Kathryn and her great-grandchildren Tristin and Savanah.
Patricia will also be sadly missed by the staff and residents of Salem Manor and all those that her life touched.
A private family Memorial Service was conducted on August 25, 2004 at Salem Manor, Leduc at 11:00 a.m.

Mr. Curtis Phillips passed away at the Leduc Hospital on August 09, 2004 at the age of 90 years. Curtis is survived by his children, sons John Phillips of Millet; Paul Phillips (Bernadette) of Leduc; and his daughter Debbie Corrigan (Ken) of Mount Pearl, NFLD; eight grandchildren: Kelly, Cameron, Kevin, Jocelyn, Chantelle, Lisa, Scott & Julie and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, 9 brothers and sisters and his wife Frieda (in 1990).
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at 1:00 pm at Tribute Funeral Services, 4810-43A Avenue, Leduc, 986-8777. Interment followed at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery, Leduc.

Pius Nickolas Bosch, of Leduc
It is with sadness we announce the passing of Pius Nickolas Bosch of Leduc, on August 15, 2004 at age of 80 years.
Pius is survived by his loving family; his wife of 58 years, Pauline, son Donald (Rita) Bosch of Sherwood Park, daughters; Sister Marlene Bosch, C.S.C. of Ottawa, Bernice Bosch of Toronto and Janet (Daryll) Dingley of Sherwood Park, grandchildren; Ryan and Tara Bosch and Brittany dingley. Pius was one of the 16 children of Mary and Nickolas Bosch.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, August 20, 2004 between 7:30p.m. and 9:00p.m. at Hainstock’s Funeral Chapel, 9810-34 Ave., EDMONTON. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 21, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation from 9:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 5105 - 45A Street, Leduc. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery, Leduc.

Helena Maria van Wyngaarden, of Leduc
With sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Helena Maria van Wyngaarden of Leduc on August 10, 2004 at the age of 95 years.
Helena is survived by her loving family, son John (Judy) of Calgary, daughters; Jeanette (Dave) Whatmore of Oakville, Ontario, Yvonne (Terry) Hardy of Calgary and Maria (John) Jackie of Leduc, 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, son-in-law Dick Stoffelsen of Burlington, Ontario and her extended family in Holland and Germany. Helena was predeceased by her husband Dirk in 1996 and daughter Elly Stoffelsen in 1991.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at St. David’s United Church, Leduc with Reverend Blaine Gregg officiating.
