Sept. 30, 1985 - June 8, 2003
Evan Cook passed away tragically at the age of 17 years.
Evan will be sadly missed by his loving parents, Donald Cook
and Sheila Rossi; one sister, Andrea; his grandparents,
Eleanor (Lewis) Hurley and Eino Rossi; as well as numerous
family and friends.
Evan was predeceased by his grandmother, Rita Rossi and a
grandfather, Robert Cook.
A Prayer Service was held on Thursday, June 12 at 6:30 P.M.
from Parkland Funeral Chapel, 3502-44 Ave., Stony Plain.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 13 at
10:00 A.M. from Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 200 Boundary
Road (North of Hwy 16A on Boundary Road), Spruce Grove with
Father Paul Terrio Celebrant.

Paul Anthony
:On June 9, 2003, Paul Anthony Sullivan of Wabamun, Alberta
passed away at the age of 51 years.
Paul is survived by his loving wife Hilly; 3 daughters, Miranda,
Sharon and Athena; 9 grandchildren; his mother Nancy; brothers
John, Phil and Rod; sisters Kathleen, Rose-Anne, Loretta and Mary.
Paul was predeceased by his father Jim and brother Greg.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations can be made to the
Westview Health Centre in memory of Paul Sullivan.
The memorial service was held on June 11, 2003 at the Jubilee
Hall in Wabamun. Reverend Gerry De Vries officiated the service.

S/Sgt. Donald Scott:
July 25, 1957 - June 6, 2003
On June 6, 2003, Staff Sergeant Don Walde of Stony Plain passed
away at the age of 45 years.
Don will be lovingly remembered by his wife Debbie of 22 years
and his three children, Kris, Brad and Ashley, all at home. He is
survived by his mother, Eleanor Colquhoun; brothers,
Dave (Debbie), Jack (Donna) and Kerry; grandmother Kate Scip;
mother-in-law, Alma Merkel; family friend, Michelle as well
as numerous family and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Earl and his grandfather Jack.
Don will always be remembered for his passion for flying and
thoroughly enjoyed his 25 years serving with the RCMP, the last
10 years employed with the Air Services Division.
The family wishes to express their warmest gratitude to the many
neighbours and friends and especially the RCMP Edmonton Air
Section for all their continued help and support.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 14 at 2:00 P.M.

Albert Alfred:
After a sudden illness, Albert Alfred Seehagel of Stony Plain passed
away at the age of 78 years in the Grey Nuns Hospital on Friday
morning, August 8, 2003.
Albert will be sadly missed but always remembered by his loving
wife of 52 years, Reta; his children, Judi and Brian Luckhardt,
Wendy and Dennis Woolsey, Darren and Brenda Seehagel as well
as by what he cherished most, his six precious grandchildren Jodi,
Jesse, Joshua, Adam, Nick and Blye. He also leaves to mourn his
loss his siblings Clara Altheim, Walter (Lorraine) Seehagel,
Loretta (Allan) McNeill, sisters-in-law Marg Seehagel, Marl
Schultz and brother-in-law Arnold Goertz along with numerous
close family members and friends. Albert was predeceased by his
parents Gus and Barbara Seehagel, brothers Bill and Don and sister
Bette.
A lifetime resident of the area, there are very few who did not know
Albert and will fondly remember his friendly smile and cheery wave
as he made his way down the streets of Stony Plain on his daily walks.
Those who wished to do so paid their respects Monday evening,
August 11 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Parkland Funeral Home,
3502-44 Avenue, Stony Plain.
His Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, August 12 at 2:00 p.m.
at St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5012-52 Avenue,
Stony Plain with Reverend Wm. Ney officiating.
Donations may be made to St. Matthew Debt Reduction Fund, Unit
43 Palliative Care at the Grey Nuns Hospital or the charity of one’s
choice.

Morton, Brynhild Synove “Sunny” (nee Ungstad):
Sept. 1, 1918 - Aug. 5, 2003
Mrs. Sunny Morton of Ponoka, formerly of Camrose, passed away
at the age of 84 years.
Sunny is survived by her loving children, Don (Hella) of Stony Plain
and Sharon Falk (Ron) of Camrose; three grandchildren, Ronnie and
Sharlene (Danny), both of Camrose and Sharie of Lethbridge; one
great-grandson, Owen; one brother, Roald (Dorothy); three sisters,
Mag, Norm and Margerit “DeDe” as well as many other relatives
and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Johnny; daughter Sylvia; her
parents, Peter and Mathilde; four brothers and three sisters.
Friends and relatives were invited to pay their respects on Friday,
August 8 at 7 P.M. from Bowker Funeral Home, Ponoka.
A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, August 9 at 11:00 A.M.
from Ponoka United Church.
Interment will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery, Stettler at 3:00 P.M.
