On Tuesday, March 13, 2001, Audrey Crouse passed away at the age of 91 years. Memories of her will be cherished by her son Russell (Sharon) Crouse of Salt Spring Island, B.C., her daughters Leone (Ron) Eaton of St. Albert, A.B., Caroleen (Robert) Lucas of Creston, B.C. six grandchildren, Russell (Delores) of Cochrane, Ronda (Don) of Nova Scotia, Mark (Tina) of Vancouver, Richard (Kami) of Newfoundland, Dean (Heidi) of Salt Spring Island, Adrian (Julia) of Waterloo and nine great grandchildren; also numerous nieces and nephews. Audrey was predeceased by her loving husband Milton Russell Crouse in 1980, her brother Cyril and sisters Winnie and Jean. Elizabeth 'Elsie' Currie of Sylvan Lake, born November 16, 1917, passed away on March 16, 2001 at the age of 83 years. She will be sadly missed by her two sons Jim (Darlene) and Jack (Pat); four grandchildren, Beth, Doug (Laurel), Carol and Sharon; and a great grandson Kameron. A Service of Remembrance for the late Elsie Currie will be held from the Chapel of the Sylvan Lake Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to the Rocky Mountain Crematorium, Rocky Mountain House. CZAJKOWSKI, Alexander
On April 2, 2001, Alex Czajkowski of Red Deer passed away at the age of 71 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Marlene; his children, Lorraine and Doug Bailer of Wetaskiwin, Larry Czajkowski and John Czajkowski of Red Deer; Grandchildren, Stephanie, Craig, Harmony, Megan, Jess, Jared and Calvin, four great grandchildren; and numerous cousins and many friends. DENT
Mae Irene Dent (nee Hargraves) of Innisfail, passed away peacefully March 9, 2001 at her daughter's home in Calgary at the age of 84 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Stanley Gordon Dent, who predeceased her on October 15, 1996. She is the cherished mom of Stanley Dent Jr. of Innisfail, Shirley Wagers (Thomas) of Innisfail, and Carol Dent of Calgary; the dear grandmother to sixteen grandchildren, Linda Anderson (Larry), Donald Dent, Dwaine Dent (Leanna), Lorie Stewart (Rod), Kenneth Dent, Kevin Dent (Cory), Barbara Staines (Craig), Shelly Applin (Alin), Debbie Bonnell (Daryl), Sherri Mullen (Bruce), Darcey Wagers, Darryl Wagers, Terry Wagers, Kerri Pronk, Dustin Pronk and Bryan Pronk; twenty-four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Mae is also the loving sister of Lillian Varty (Robert) of Lethbridge and Doris LaBelle of Creston, B.C.; and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. As well as her husband Stanley, Mrs. Dent was predeceased by one brother, a daughter-in-law and five grandchildren. Mae was born and raised in Taber, Alberta. She met and married Stanley Dent and together they moved to the Innisfail area. They worked for many years on local farms until they moved into the Town of Innisfail where Stan worked for A.D. Manual and then Independent Creameries until his retirement. They worked hard together and enjoyed raising their family. Mae was an avid gardener and an excellent seamstress. She was a loving and kind mother who would do anything for anyone. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the love of her life. She was truly loved by all and will be deeply missed. Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5698-55 Avenue Crescent, Innisfail, on Wednesday, March 14, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Innisfail Cemetery. Egli of Sylvan Lake, passed away suddenly on March 24, 2001 at the age of 20 years. Helen Ervin formally from Saint John, New Brunswick passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on Mar 28, 2001. Helen served for many years with the St. John Ambulance in Saint John. N.B. and was awarded the rank of Serving Sister for her service by then Governor General Michener at Ottawa. Helen will be sadly missed by her husband Ed, daughter Diane, and many friends. FABER
Christopher Shaun Faber died tragically in an auto accident on March 25, 2001 in Red Deer at the age of 22. All his family and friends will sadly miss him. Chris leaves behind his mother Jane Faber, his father Henry Faber and three brothers Terry, Ben and Joe. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2001 at the New Life Fellowship, 77th Street & 52nd Avenue at 3:00 p.m. All those who knew Chris are welcome to pay their respects. A second memorial will be held at Chris's final resting place in Kelowna, B.C. on Saturday, April 7, 2001.
