Mr. Kevin Frederick Watson of Red Deer passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2003 at the age of 42 years. Kevin was born in Calgary on January 30, 1961. He grew up in the Central Alberta area and resided for many years in Red Deer. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with those he cared about. He will be remembered as a gentle person with a spiritual soul. Kevin is survived by his mother, Margaret (Jim) Anderson; his father Frederick Watson; his children: Naomi and Jordon Fedorak and their mother Donna Fedorak, Brennan and Ashton Burrington and their mother Melody Burrington; seven brothers: Mike, Scott, Mark, Paul, David, Glen and William; and one sister, Naomi Watson. WESTLING, Vernon
Mr. Vernon Evan Westling April 03, 1918 - May 03, 2003, passed away peacefully at the Lacombe Hospital with his three children at his bedside. He had suffered a debilitating stroke April 14, 2003. Vern was born on the farm near Clive, AB. After basic training in World War II he was given special leave in 1942 to help with farm work. He married Edna Knutson in 1955. He lived on his own farm for over 50 years until his passing. He was predeceased by his wife Edna (1988), his brother Leslie (1988), his mother Hellen (1988), and his father Axel (1964). He is survived by his children Cindy (Roy) Pudrycki of Edmonton, Nita Jensen of Lacombe, and Richard Westling of Lacombe; and two granddaughters, Jody and Kristi Jensen of Lacombe. He leaves to mourn his brothers Elgin (Dorothy)Westling of Calgary, Floyd Westling of Clive and Cecil (Faye) Westling of Clive, as well as nieces and nephews. WHITE, ELLEN
Mrs. Ellen White of Innisfail passed away at the Innisfail Health Care Centre, Monday, May 26, 2003 at the age of 77 years. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Bud; son, Gary and wife Iris and their children Evan and Dayna, all of Innisfail; her daughter Faye White and husband Jim Campbell of Vancouver, BC. Ellen was born in Innisfail on April 21, 1926 and was the daughter of William (Billy) and Amelia Calvert. She was raised in the Calder District, along with her siblings, Joe (Marion) Calvert, Louis Calvert, Elsie (Ken) Moffat, Gordon Calvert (Lil), Delbert Calvert (Dorothy). Ellen married Bud White on November 17, 1948. Together they farmed in the Knee Hill Valley district until retiring to Innisfail in 1985. Together they enjoyed a long and happy retirement, shared with her family and many friends. Funeral services for the late Ellen White will be held Thursday, May 29, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Innisfail United Church, 4720-48 Avenue, Innisfail and interment at the Innisfail Cemetery. passed away at the U of A Hospital in Edmonton May 5, 2003 at the age of 74 years. Georgie is survived by her children Brien (Linda), Jack (Daryl), Ron & Betty; her sisters Eva, Madge, Marj & brothers Glenn (Roberta) and Cecil (Grace); 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Terri, her brother Hubert & her son Rick. Bertha Louise Wilson
Mrs. Bertha Louise Wilson (nee Bourne), beloved wife of Mr. Malcolm Wilson of Delburne, Alberta, passed away at the Innisfail Health Care Centre, Innisfail, Alberta on Monday, March 17, 2003 at the age of 69 years. Bertha was born on May 6, 1933 at Nanton, Alberta. She was a wonderful wife and mother, always giving her love and devotion to her husband, Malcolm and their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family meant the world to her and she had a way of showing it in everything she did for them. Bertha was a great fan of the outdoors and loved camping and fishing. She could reel them in along with the best. As well, being a faithful wife, Bertha worked alongside her husband and best friend, Malcolm, driving pilot truck for their own business. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who loved and knew her but lovingly cherished and remembered in our hearts. Bertha leaves to mourn her loss, her loving husband Malcolm and her children; Rose of Olds, Alberta, John and his wife Sheila of Calgary, Alberta, Lerey and her husband Dee of Red Deer, Bernice and Duane of Red Deer, Mary and her husband James of Grande Prairie, Alberta, Ida and her husband Ken of Barrie, Ontario, George of Red Deer and Diana and her husband Harold of Halkirk, Alberta.
