RADMORE

Phil Radmore of Lacombe passed away July 22, 2004 following a motorcycle accident near Ashcroft, B.C. He made many friends and acquaintances during many years working as a motor mechanic at Weidner Motors, Kipp Scott Pontiac Buick and Carter's of Burnaby and more recently as a motorcycle mechanic at his business of Cavalcade Motorcycle Service. He was a man who always gave 100% of his knowledge and expertise to a car, motorcycle, computer or welding project. He was much loved by his six grandchildren, daughters Diane & Yvonne, sons-in-law Scott and Kelly and wife La Verne, as well as one sister, 3 brothers, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Phil & Dorothy Radmore. At Phil's request there will not be a funeral service. If friends desire memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. REE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hans J. Ree, on Saturday, July 17, 2004, at the age of 91. Hans passed away peacefully at Vernon Hospice House surrounded by family. He will be lovingly remembered by his five sons, John (Chloe), Paul (Julie), Owen (Pat), Buren (Elaine), Mark (Joan); his two daughters, Janice (Les) Christianson, June (Dwaine) Christianson; his 18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his sister, Judith (Galen) Morstad; sisters-in-law, Mary Ree and Marie Nyborg, as well as his brother-in-law, Kelly (Julie) Nyborg and numerous extended family members and friends. Hans was predeceased by his wife Shirley in 1967, his second wife Helen in 1997 and his brother Olaf. After moving from Jackson, Minnesota in 1934, Hans settled in Bentley Alberta where he farmed until his move to Vernon in 1971. Gardening, woodworking, spending time with family and friends and being an active member in his church community brought great joy to his life. He also enjoyed curling, horseshoe and bowling. Hans will forever be remembered for his strong faith, his love of family and that twinkle in his eye. There will be a memorial service in Bentley, Alberta at the Grace Lutheran Church on Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grace Lutheran Church or charity of choice.

REID ROSENAUER, Ivy

Mrs. Ivy Reid Rosenauer of Viking passed away quietly on Saturday, July 17, 2004 at the Viking Extendicare facility, Viking, Alberta at the age of 83 years. She leaves to mourn her brother in law, Marvin Palmer (Pearl) and extended family Louise Wallace (Allan), Joe Watt (Carol), Patti and John Child and their children Cheryl and Tim, Mike and Jen Wallace and their daughter Mikalyn and many friends. Funeral services for the late Ivy Reid-Rosenauer will be held Friday, July 23, 2004 at 10:00 am at Metcalf Funeral Chapel, 4200 49th Ave. Innisfail with burial at Innisfail Cemetery. ROBB, Debra

Ms. Debra Robb of Red Deer, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 23, 2004 at the age of 54 years. Debra was born on December 27, 1949 at Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. She was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Debra had a heart of gold she was always there for her family. We will miss you deeply but our love for you will remain forever treasured in our hearts. Debra leaves to mourn her loss, her loving children; three sons, two daughters and five grandchildren. A Celebration of Debra's Life will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapels, 4820 - 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Alto-Reste Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta. Jerry Andre Sapizak, beloved husband of Barbara (Bulmer) passed away suddenly, Saturday, July 24, 2004 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital at the age of 57 years. Jerry was a very special person who has left a multitude of lasting memories with those whom he touched. Left to remember him best are his loving wife Barb, daughter Sharlene (Wayne), son Greg (Stacy), grandchildren Amanda, Amber, Jesse, Faith, step grandchildren Ryan, Nicole, his parents Andre and Dorothy, sisters Sharon, and Yvonne (Don), brother Rod (Cindi), special aunt Patricia, his mother-in-law Doris, brother-in-law Norm (Charlene) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives as well as countless special friends. At Jerry's request there will not be a funeral service. SCOTT

James Edward Scott passed away suddenly at home on July 18, 2004 at the age of 61 years. Jim was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia and soon moved with his family to the Clive area. He was married to Judy in 1963. Jim worked on the oil rigs, in road construction and was a finishing grader operator for many years until 1997 when he and Judy opened Judy's Frames Plus in downtown Lacombe. Jim was predeceased by his daughter, Diane in 1983 and his parents in 1991. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Judy; son, Tony; daughter-in-law, Sandra and grandkids Riley and Talia, all of Lacombe. He will also be missed by other family members and close friends. Funeral Services will be held from Wilson's Funeral Chapel, 6120 Highway 2A, Lacombe on Thursday, July 22, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Clive Cemetery. SHEPPARD, Shirley

Mrs. Shirley Irene Sheppard, beloved wife of Mr. Douglas Sheppard of Red Deer, passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, peacefully to be with The Lord on Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at the age of 68 years. Shirley was born on August 28, 1935 at Toronto, Ontario. Shirley was a very kind, gentle and loving wife, mother and grandmother who devoted her life to caring for her family. She will always be remembered for her sense of humour and her kind spirit. Shirley will be deeply and sadly missed but lovingly remembered and forever cherished in the hearts of her family and her grandchildren. Shirley leaves to mourn her loss, her loving husband, Douglas and her sons, Bruce (Dorothea), Stuart (Carla) and Ian (Delorie), all of Red Deer and her grandchildren; Sandi, Megan, Lindsey, Ian, Dayton, Kyle and Carson. She will also be sadly missed by her sister, Betty (Doug) Totten of Toronto, Ontario and her brother, Bill (Gail) Blackmore of Ridgeway, Ontario, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. STONECHILD

Cheryl Mary Stonechild, formerly of Red Deer, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home in Vegreville, Alberta on Saturday, July 24, 2004 at the age of 48 years. Cheryl was born on January 8, 1956 at the Muscowpetung Reservation, Saskatchewan. She was raised in Saskatchewan and then made her home in Red Deer where she resided for twenty years. Cheryl worked for the Red Deer Advocate for fifteen years. She loved meeting new people and was known for her sense of humor and her giving nature. Cheryl was a very fun loving, kind hearted, compassionate and generous woman. She loved her family with all her heart and was especially proud of her grandchildren. We will dearly miss her spirit and her laughter but will cherish her memory in our hearts forever. Cheryl leaves to mourn her loss, her loving mother Margaret S. Keewatin; and her children, Leslie Eric Stonechild of Red Deer, Michelle Denise Stonechild of Vegreville, Alberta, Tanya Lynn Stonechild of Edmonton, Alberta and William Terrance Stonechild of Blackfalds, Alberta; and her seven grandchildren, Jennifer and Dakota Stonechild, Siera and Avery Stonechild, Logan Stonechild and Austin Redcalfe and CreeLyn Stonechild. She will also be sadly missed by her brothers, Allen R. Stonechild of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Eric W. Stonechild and Kevin Stonechild of Vancouver, British Columbia, Scott Stonechild of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Ronald H. Keewatin of Vancouver, British Columbia and John W. Stonechild of Edmonton, Alberta. Cheryl was predeceased by her father, Eric A. Stonechild; brothers, Warren John Stonechild and Terrance Joseph Stonechild; and a sister, Cher-Anne Stonechild. A Traditional Cree Ceremony Wake and Feast will be held at 65 Crawford Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, July 29, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be held on Friday, July 30, 2004 at the Alto-Reste Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta at 2:30 p.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Cheryl's honour may be made directly to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, c/o Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta, T6G 1Z2

ZIMMER

William Gus Zimmer passed away at the Red Deer Hospital on July 19, 2004 at the age of 83. Bill was born on September 3, 1920 in Waldron, Saskatchewan. Bill leaves to mourn his loss his loving children Dianne Burrington of Penhold, Dan and Eileen Zimmer and Blaine Zimmer all from Rocky Mountain House. Six grandchildren, Trisha and Rick Winchester, John Zimmer, Bob Zimmer, all of Rocky Mountain House, Sandra Burrington, Steve Burrington of Penhold, Shari and Dan Kuzminski of Edmonton and two great grandchildren Carissa and Maverick Kuzminski. Also his siblings, two sisters, Rose Wardle and Mary Buckle, two brothers, Ed and Minnie Zimmer and Dave and Marge Zimmer. Bill was predeceased by his beloved wife Jean Alma Zimmer; his siblings Frank Zimmer, George Zimmer, Joe Zimmer, Pete Zimmer and Tony Zimmer. The Funeral Service will be held at Rocky Mountain House Pentecostal Assembly, 4715 - 47 Avenue at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at the Leslieville Cemetery. Everyone is invited to join us afterward for refreshments and fellowship at the Rocky Mountain House Pentecostal Assembly.
