Michaud, Raymond Peter
With a heavy heart the family of Ray Michaud, proud resident of Hinton for over 40 years passed away suddenly on April 2, 2016 at the age of 80 years.
Left to remember his legacy and treasure his memory is his loving family; brothers, Adelard Michaud of Hinton, AB, Herve Michaud of St. Paul, AB, Clement (Florjelina) Michaud of Hinton, AB, Guy Michaud of St. Paul, AB, Joseph (Denise) Michaud of Prince George, BC and Ray’s sisters, Blanche Piquette of St. Paul, AB, Louise Roy of Falher, AB, Jacqueline (Bill) Willis of Edmonton, AB. Also surviving is his sister in laws, Cecile Michaud of St. Paul, AB, Louise Michaud of Edmonton, AB and many nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends.
Ray was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Maria Michaud, brothers, John, Marcel and Gerard as well as his sister, Cecile Brochu, brother in laws, Rock Piquette, Ted Brochu and sister in laws, Cecile and Jeanette Michaud.
Prayer Services will be held on April 29, 2016 at Our Lady of the Foothills Catholic Church in Hinton, AB at 7:00 PM and a Funeral Mass will be held on April 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Foothills Catholic Church with Father Miroslaw Kostarzewski officiating. Following this service cremation will take place and Ray will be laid to rest at the Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date.
The family suggests that if desired, a donation can be made the Our Lady of the Foothills Catholic Church 124 Tamarack Avenue, Hinton, Alberta T7V 1C8 in support of the Syrian Refugee Fund.

Gerard, Kyle Lee
The families of Kyle Gerard announce his sudden and tragic passing on April 2, 2016 in Whitecourt, Alberta. Kyle was 33 years old.
Left to mourn his loss and treasure all that he was, is his loving family; Parents, David (Donna MacDonald) Gerard of Kitwanga, BC, Linda (Craig) Wittenberg of Penticton, BC, son Christian Lee Gerard of Quincy, Illinois, Fiancé, Tiffany Pittman, of Hinton, AB, brother, Jesse (Ginny) Gerard of Kelowna, BC, Kyle’s sisters, Alicia (Shane) Gerard of Kitwanga, BC and Jenna-Dee (Dan) Gerard of Hinton, AB. Also surviving are grandparents, Gary Gerard and Dorothy Gerard of 100 Mile House, BC, grandparents, Sharon (Tom) Ruston of Clearwater, BC, and Uncle Kelly Ruston of Prince George, BC, nieces and nephews, Zaydan, Aspen, Ava, Bella and Patience. Kyle will also be forever remembered by many more nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends all over Canada.
Kyle was predeceased by his grandparents, Melford and Gloria Solhjell, great grandparents, Steve Dunn, Rena Zurba, and step grandfather Garry Ruston.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place and there will be a Celebration of Life on April 16, 2016 at the A.S.A.P. shop in Hinton, Alberta located at 156 Steele Crescent, Hinton, AB at 1:00 PM. All are welcome to attend.
The family suggests that if desired, a donation can be made in Kyle’s memory to Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation for the Prairies and NWT Region, Suite 1800, 10250 101 Street, Edmonton, AB T5J 3P4.

Kreutzer, Linda Elaine
With a heavy heart and great sadness the family of Linda Kreutzer of Hinton, Alberta announces her passing on March 23, 2016 at the age of 64 years.
Left to treasure her memory and remember all that she was, is her loving family; husband of 43 years, Wilfred and their daughters, Tam Rundle (Cory) of Edmonton, AB and Sharilene Kreutzer of Yellowhead County as well as her precious grandchildren, Kassandra, Alinda (Jeremy), Kayla, Cameron (Shannon), Myleena and Jetta as well her great grand children, Noah, Axel, Lydia, Alison and Catherine. Linda is survived by her brothers; Doug Ayer of Saskatoon, SK, Robert Shwora of Clinton, BC, sisters; Debbie (Rudy) Tanner of Regina, SK, Brenda (Dale) Smith of Fernie, BC and sister in law, Sharon (Elmer) Ivan of Weyburn, SK. Linda is further survived by niece, Terry Triffo, numerous nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, Nicholas Shwora and Dorothy Scott, foster mother, Signe Kruger, foster father, Einer Kruger, one grandson, Andrew Robertson and one cousin, Sheri Lee Bolton and one nephew James Shwora.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held later in the year.
The family wishes to say a special Thank You to Dr. Beemish and all the staff of the Hinton Hospital for all your amazing care of Linda. The family gratefully appreciated all your care and compassion.
The family also suggests that if desired, a donation can be made the Canadian Cancer Society of AB and NWT, 200 325 Manning Road, NE, Calgary, AB T2E 2P5 in Linda Kreutzer’s memory.

Dennis Alan Fadi
Born: Tue., Nov. 8, 1960
Died: Tue., Apr. 19, 2016
The family of Dennis Fadi, lifetime resident of Jasper, AB announce his sudden passing in jasper on April 19, 2016 at the age of 57 years.
In keeping with his wishes cremation will take place and a private family interment will take place at a later date.

Galbraith, Geraldine Noreen
May 25, 1931 – April 21, 2016
With a heavy heart, the family of Gerri Galbraith announces her passing on April 21, 2016 in Hinton, Alberta at the age of 84 years.
Left to treasure her memory and remember her always is her beloved family; husband of 61 years, William and their children, Aaron (Fiona Murray-Galbraith) Galbraith of Hinton, AB, Dale (Betty Ledgerwood) Galbraith of Calgary, AB, Shawn (Tom) Vinson of Brule, AB, Lori (Doug) Melnychuk of Hinton, AB, Gayle Galbraith of Hinton, AB, Brett (Darla) Galbraith of Chilliwack, BC and her precious 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Gerri is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and many treasured friends.
Gerri was predeceased by her parents, Horace and Elizabeth Sampson, 8 brothers, 4 sisters and numerous other family members.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 26 at 2:00 pm at Our Lady of the Foothills Catholic Church with Father Miroslaw Kostarzewski officiating. Cremation will take place following this service and there will be a private family interment at a later date.
The family wishes to say a special thank you to Dr. Dreyer and the Nurses at the Hinton Hospital for all their care. As well they wish to thank the staff with Hinton Homecare and the staff of Hinton EMS. All your kindnesses were greatly appreciated.

Emsley, George Francis
The family of George Emsley, of Hinton, Alberta announce his passing on April 7, 2016 at the age of 74 years.
Left to honor his memory and treasure all that he was is his beloved family; wife of 36 years, Marion and their children, Raymond (Tracy) Emsley of Calgary, AB, Shawn (Monica) Emsley of Valleyview, AB, Misty Dawn Underwood of merit, BC, Dawn (Oscar) Pierce of Hinton, AB, James Jr. (Pam) Begg of Lac La Biche, AB. George is survived by numerous grandchildren, one great grandchild, one brother, David (Violet) Emsley of Strathmore, AB, two sisters, Ada (Ben) Hoehn of Luba, MB, and Alice Wiley of Yorkton, SK and numerous other treasured family and many lifelong friends.
George was predeceased by his parents, George and Lillian Emsley, brother, Bart Emsley, and sister Ella Emsley.
A Celebration of George’s life will take place on Saturday, May 28, at 1:00 PM at Mountain Rose Funeral Chapel in Hinton. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and he will be laid to rest at a later date.
The family wishes to say a special Thank You to Dr. Lee Jones and all the Nurses and staff at the Hinton Hospital. They also express a deep thank you for all those in Homecare, your care and kindness was so deeply appreciated. The family also recognizes the very special people in his life, Oscar Pierce, Alex Bauer, Greg Wakefield, Lawrence Raiwet, Rob Wylie, and Jesse Banman.
It is suggested that if desired, a donation can be made to the Hinton and District SPCA, 209 Kelley Road Hinton, Alberta T7V 1H2.

Armstrong, Margaret Catherine (Peggy Allan)
With great sadness and a heavy heart, the family of Peggy Armstrong announce her sudden passing on May 8, 2015 at the age of 60 years.
Left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory is her loving husband of 35 years, Brad Armstrong, and their children Naomi, Gemma, and Emily. Peggy is survived by her brothers Bill (Peg) Allan of Corner Brook, NL, and Gerry (Margie) Allan of St. John’s, NL, her sister Patsy (Lorne) Deering of Antigonish, NS, and many other family members and treasured friends.
Peggy was predeceased by her parents, J.W. (Bill) and Catherine (Kay) Allan.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Our Lady of the Foothills Catholic Church in Hinton, AB, with Bill Bulger officiating. A reception will immediately follow at the Hinton Community Centre.
Memorial donations can be made to the Hinton Tour de Cure cycling team at www.conquercancer.ca (Alberta) or to the Nature Conservancy of Canada at www.natureconservancy.ca, in Peggy’s memory.

Kenneth James Baker
On April 18, 2015 Ken Baker of Hinton, AB passed away suddenly in Edmonton, AB at the age of 64 years. Ken was the President of Echo Logging Ltd. serving Edson, Hinton and area for many years.
Left to treasure his memory and remember all that he was is his loving family; wife and best friend for 27 years, Karen, and children, Bobbi Baker of Gold Bridge, BC, Kelsey Baker and Kristen Baker, both of Hinton, AB. Ken is also survived by his mother, Joan Baker of Edson, AB, brothers, Bill Baker of Williams Lake, BC, Pat Baker of Edson, AB, Cody (Stacey) Baker of Hinton, AB, sisters, Brenda (Ron) Peterson of Edson, AB and Tammy Baker of Saskatoon, SK. Ken will be also forever remembered by many other relatives and countless lifelong friends.
Ken was predeceased by his father, Walter Baker and infant daughter, Chris.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Hinton Community Centre on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 2:00 PM. As a tribute to Ken and his passion for the game, we invite you to wear anything Edmonton Oilers or Team Canada. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place.
The family wishes to give a special “Thank You” to the Hinton Ambulance Service, the Doctors and Nurses at the Hinton Hospital and the Medical Staff at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for all their wonderful care of Ken.
It is suggested that if desired, a donation can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice in Ken Baker’s memory.

Heather Joanne Bourbeau
It is with great sadness that the families of Heather Bourbeau of Hinton, Alberta announce her sudden passing on April 15, 2015 at home at the age of 59 years.
Left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory is her husband, Paul Bourbeau and their son, Paul JR. both of Hinton, AB Heather is survived by many beloved family and treasured friends.
Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of The Foothills Cathoilic Church on Friday April 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Father Brian Inglis as Celebrant. In keeping with Heather's wishes, cremation will take place prior to this service.
