FRIESEN, Helena - 1917 - 2007 - Helena passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 2, 2007 at the Valley Park Manor. She is survived by her children, Terry (Shirley), Melvin (Kathy), Vern (Nit), Joe (Morine), Susan (Gerry) and Russell (Tina); 20 grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as her brother John. Helena was predeceased by her husband, Peter and son Eugene. A Memorial Service will be held at Streams Christian Church, 5350 - 46th Ave., Red Deer AB on Friday, September 7, 2007 at 1:30 pm. LIDDELL - Mrs. Glennis Liddell of Lacombe, Alberta was called to her heavenly reward on Friday evening, November 5, 2004. A graveside service of committal was conducted by the Rev. Ken Thiessen, with the family present on Tuesday, November 9, 2004. A service to honour the Blessings of God in and through Glennis will be held at the First Baptist Church of Red Deer, 4310-39 Street, on Sunday, November 14, 2004 at 3:00 P.M. All relatives, friends and neighbors are welcome and are invited to remain for a time of fellowship following the service. GOODACRE, Marion
GOODACRE, Marion "Marnie" passed away in Vancouver, BC. on October 7, 2004 after a brief illness. Marnie lived many productive years as a paraplegic. She spent many hours on the False Creek Seawall visiting with friends and people passing by. She will be sadly missed by her brother Bill, sister-in-laws Toupie & Glenna, brother-in-law Bill Lewchuck & many nieces & nephews. Marnie was predeceased by her parents Art & Mabel, brother Bob & sister Joan. A wake was held October 31, in Vancouver. At her request there will be no funeral.

LONG, Francis - Mr. Francis (Frank) Long Jr. a longtime resident of Michener Services, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2004 at the age of 80 years. Frank will be missed by his many friends. Funeral Services will be held at the Roland Michener Recreation Centre Chapel on Saturday, November 13, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. with the Reverend Jan Richardson officiating. Interment will follow at the Kinsella Cemetery.

MORRISON, Lloyd
MORRISON, Lloyd - It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Lloyd A. Morrison who died after a courageous battle with cancer at Entwhistle, Alberta on Friday, November 5, 2004 at the age of 63 years. Lloyd will be remembered by his two sons, Donald of Bowling Green, Ohio and David of Bentley. his mother, Molly Smith of Brandon, Manitoba; sister Peggy of Winnipeg, his wife Geraldine (Gerri) of Red Deer. Lloyd loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and most of all the past 6 years, every summer he loved to be out in the mountains, where he enjoyed trail riding. Lloyd was an untrained talented guitar musician, playing by ear, especially enjoyed it around a campfire. He was a licensed heavy-duty mechanic and a stay at home Dad, where he went into doing leatherwork, making horse bridals and halters, chaps, and saddles. Lloyd was an avid fan of attending auction marts from mainly Rocky to Innisfail buying and selling horses. He never missed his son Donald's hockey practices and games for many years, traveling to California for a hockey tournament, Vancouver four summers in a row, and many towns in Alberta, and David has inherited Lloyd's musical talents. A family gathering will take place at the Hummingbird area in the mountains for the spreading of his ashes in the summer of 2005. KUFFLER - Evelyn Rose Kuffler 1920 - 2004 - It is with great sadness that the family of Evelyn Rose Kuffler, announce her passing. Surrounded by her family, she slipped peacefully into the hands of Jesus on November 4th, 2004 at the Bethany Care Centre in Cochrane, Alberta. Evelyn was born on June 5th, 1920 in Youngstown, Alberta to Lillian and William Ray. She married Alexander (Gus) Kuffler on March 18th, 1943. She lived most of her life in Delburne, AB. Evelyn is survived by her sons, Larry (Donna) Kuffler of Calgary and Robert (Wendy) Kuffler of Red Deer, 7 grandchildren; Dion (Mary Bishop) Kuffler, Rob (Sian Garcia) Kuffler, Jason (Paula) Kuffler, Darren Kuffler, Aaron Kuffler, Angie (Travis) Rehn and Ryan Kuffler, 4 great-grandchildren; Dreyton, Jaimie, Tyson and Cody. She is also survived by her brother, Bill (Sonya) Ray of Delburne and several nieces and nephews. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Gus Kuffler of 48 years, her mother and father, Lillian and William Ray, sisters, Wilma Markle and Elaine Ray and her nephew Brad Ray. RUNGE - William Joseph George Runge of Calgary passed away peacefully at the Father Lacombe Care Centre on Saturday, October 2, 2004 at the age of 88 years. George worked for the Alberta Brewers Association, where he became the Manager of the Calgary Brewery Beer Store until he and Lois retired together and moved to Phoenix, AZ. George is survived by his children, Diana (Ron), Allan, Gail (Wendy), Lynn (Gordon), and Vickylea (Joe); his four grandchildren, Todd, Troy, Stefanie, and Shenoa; his sister Helen; and his six brothers, Bill, Ernie, John, Victor, Charlie, and Don. George was predeceased by his wife, Lois (nee Bliss) in 1988; a son Kenneth; and a sister Mary.
