WAGERS - It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Ralph Thomas Wagers on December 11, 2004 at the age of 76 years. Ralph was born in Innisfail on December 11, 1928. Donations in Ralph's memory can be made to the Palliative Care Room at the Innisfail Health Care Center or to STARS. A funeral service will be held at the Innisfail United Church on Wednesday December 15, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Interment at the Innisfail Cemetery. LEMKE, Horst
LEMKE - Horst Rudi Lemke of Red Deer passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on March 27, 2006 at the age of 75 years. Horst was born to William and Maria Lemke of Ostpreussen, Germany. His younger years were spent in Europe and eventually he immigrated to Canada and moved to Alberta in the early 1950's. During those early years in Alberta ranching was a way of life, which Horst contributed to. He was a big part of Alberta's ancestry, as he lived and worked on a ranch with Arthur Hayden, raising horses for the Calgary Stampede for several years. Raising horses was his number one passion. Horst moved to Red Deer, resided at Centennial Courts and because of his failing health he lived with his special friend and caregiver, Berdie Burdick. His memory will be cherished by Berdie. Even though Horst never felt like anyone special - he really was special. At Horst's request no funeral service will be held. Memorial donations may be made to The Golden Circle, 4620 - 47 Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta T4N 3P5. In living memory of Horst Rudi Lemke, a tree will be planted in the Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium Memorial Tree Park.
JENSEN
JENSEN - Mrs. Jackie Jensen of Markerville passed away suddenly March 24, 2006 at the age of 63. Jackie was born on December 2, 1942 to Ed and Verna Giselman. She married Cai Jensen on December 29, 1962. She is survived by her husband Cai; sons Kelly (Charlene) and Shaun (Kathy), and granddaughter Charlotte; also sisters Carol Taylor, Myrna Black and Vivian Dufresne. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lutheran Church in Dickson. Arrangements in care of Sylvan Lake Funeral Home. FERMANIUK, Roselyn Ann - 09 April 1953 - 26 March 2006 - It is with heavy hearts & great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Roselyn Ann Fermaniuk on March 26, 2006 in Red Deer, Alberta. Rose will be dearly missed & forever loved by her devoted husband of 31 years, Barry, daughter, April (partner Sacha), son, Dylan and the much loved family pet, Frankie. She is survived by her loving family, parents; Olga and Paul Plante, sisters; Rita Ferguson and Regena Harras, brother, Randy Plante (partner Pamela). She will also be dearly missed by Barry's family, sister, Carol (Laurie), brothers; Dale, Bob (Monique) and sister-in-law, Janet. GELETTE, Mrs. Phyllis Alice (nee Wilson) passed away suddenly on November 27, 2007. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Don Gelette and her children Murray Gelette, Shelley Gelette (Dave Kolisnyk), Ron Gelette and two grandchildren Ashley Kolisnyk and Zackary Harvey. Phyllis was born in Carlton, Saskatchewan in 1927 and married in Prince Albert. They moved to Calgary in 1954 and to Clive in 1973 where they owned the Clive Hotel for almost 30 years. They retired to Lacombe and were residents of the Lacombe Seniors Lodge. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Wilson's Funeral Chapel, 6120 Highway 2A, Lacombe, Alberta. CAMPBELL - It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Sheila Gladys Campbell, beloved wife of 51 years to Cliff Campbell of Red Deer, at the Foothills Hospital, Calgary on Sunday, March 26, 2006 at the age of 71 years. Sheila was born, raised and schooled in the Red Deer area. Early in her working career she was employed at Canada Safeway's before spending many years, as a dedicated mother. She returned to work as a green thumb at the Dentooms Greenhouse. Sheila was a very caring person who loved her family dearly, was a member of the Moose Lodge and belonged to the Daughters of the Nile. She loved to spend her quiet time reading, she enjoyed her plants and gardening. Sheila enjoyed curling and a good round of golf. Sheila and Cliff loved to travel and wintered many years in Phoenix where they enjoyed the warm weather and golfed together. Sheila will be dearly missed by her beloved husband and best friend Cliff. Sheila was the matriarch of the family, her memory will be cherished by her sons, Garry (Patrice) Campbell and Scott (Brenda) Campbell and one daughter, Dana (Paul) Klassen all of Red Deer. Her memory will be treasured by her eight wonderful grandchildren and two beautiful great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by two sisters, one of which is her twin, Shirley (Bernie) Wilke of Calgary as well as her sister Francis (Heintz) Siebrandt of Calgary. She is also survived by two brothers, Mac (Marg) Beckley of Red Deer and Dennis (Keitha) Beckley of Calgary. She will fondly be remembered by her large extended family and many dear friends. BLADES, George
BLADES, George Ernest - April 19, 1926 - March 24, 2006 - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of George Ernest Blades at the age of 79 years after a short battle with cancer. George was born near Camrose, AB on April 19, 1926. He lived and got married in that area until 1957 when he, wife Dorothy and their family moved to Saskatchewan with Sun Oil. He lived, worked and helped raise his family in Saskatchewan until 1975 when they moved to Calgary. George retired from Suncor in 1986 and then he and Dorothy moved to an acreage in Caroline, AB. They have lived in Rocky Mountain House since 1999. George will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Dorothy; his children and grandchildren: Dennis (Diane) and their children Darlene and Dustin, Gwen (Jim) and their daughter Beth, Garth (Sandra) and their sons Taylor and Zach, and Kevin (Trina). George is also survived by his 4 sisters; Bernice, Gladys (Lorne), Doris (Arnold) and Elaine (Doug); sister-in-law Margaret; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends from his work and community. George was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Jessie and his brother-in-laws Jim, Ken and Dick. A memorial celebration of life will be held Monday, April 3, 2006 at 10:30am from the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Rocky Mountain House. (5015 - 49th Street). McCUAIG
McCUAIG - John Allan (Al) McCuaig passed away peaceful at the Red Deer Hospice on March 26, 2006 with family and friends by his bed side. Al was born in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan on April 27, 1919 to John and Mary McCuaig; he was the younger of two children. Al was survived by his step children, Dan (Neola) Baines, John (Holly) Baines, Donna (Gary) Tibbett, Gordon (Dianne) Baines, Terry Baines and Carol (Don) Kashuba and numerous nieces and nephews. Al will be also missed by his special friends, Wally (Sandy) Cameron and family and Barb Craig and family. Al was predeceased by his first wife Dot, his second wife Marj and his sister Helen Massie.
