- Shop now for incredible insights into your wellbeing -CAMERON - Mrs. Edith Cameron of Calgary, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Saturday, July 19, 1997 after a brief illness at the age of 80 years. She was born November 13, 1916 in Winnipeg and married Tom Cameron on October 16, 1939. She will be sadly missed by her three sons and their families, Sam and Thelma, Fred and Penny, David and Ella; and a daughter-in-law, Maryann. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; as well as her sister Georgina and her husband Ron Nelson; brother Bud and his wife Loretta Ristan; sister-in-law Joan Ristan; and numerous nieces and nephews. Edith was predeceased by her husband Tom in 1978, and her eldest son Tom in 1986. Funeral Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S "Park Memorial Chapel", (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.), on Thursday, July 24, 1997 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. WEBB - Adrianna May Webb (nee Zurch) of Calgary, passed away at her residence on Thursday, July 17, 1997 after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 54 years. Adri was born on July 8, 1943 in Edmonton, Alberta, and was educated, obtaining her BScN and later a Masters degree in administration. She had been working with Care West Palliative Care. Once diagnosed with cancer, Adri found relaxation playing the violin with Claudia, an instrument she once played as a child. Adri enjoyed the outdoors with her dog Fifi and will be remembered for her sharp wit, strength and the spark in her eyes. She is survived by her daughter Jenny Webb and her friend Roger Watts of Calgary; her mother Dorothy and Al Ryan of Edmonton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Barb and Ken Watson of Sylvan Lake and Kathy and Al Lymer of Edmonton; two nieces and a nephew, Donna and Neil of Edmonton, and Sue of Calgary; as well as relatives and many friends. She was predeceased by her father Adolf Zurch in 1978. CAMPBELL - Suzanne (Susan) Gay Campbell. As the early morning stars extinguished on December 14, 1997, with the comfort of her daughter at her side, Suzanne (Susan) Gay Campbell was called to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer. Suzanne was born in Whitewood, Saskatchewan, on December 8, 1952, and moved to Calgary at an early age where she completed her schooling. At the time of her passing, she resided in Logan Lake, B.C. Suzanne leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Kamma Justina Nielsen (Ralph Rutschmann) and her best friend Brian Osadchuk. Suzanne will be dearly missed by her two sisters, Joan Maier of Regina, Saskatchewan and Denise Campbell (Garnet Tetz) of Lacombe, Alberta; and a brother Andrew Campbell (Betsy) of Calgary, Alberta; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Suzanne was predeceased by her brothers, Laurie Gene and David Wayne, and her parents, Sylvia and Stewart Campbell. DE ROSA - Armando Gualielmo De Rosa, beloved husband of Mrs. Antonia De Rosa of Calgary, passed away at his home on November 10, 1997 after battling with cancer of the liver, at the age of 70 years. Armando was born September 11, 1927 in Lanciano, Italy, immigrating to Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1949, where he married Antonia, August 26, 1954. In 1960, Armando and his family returned to Italy and in 1966, immigrated to Canada. In Canada, Armando worked for Alpha Dairies until his retirement at age sixty-five. Good bye Dad. Besides his loving wife, Armando is also survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Norma De Rosa and Michael and Rachel De Rosa, all of Calgary; and a daughter Josephine De Rosa, also of Calgary; four grandchildren, Jason, Michelle, Robyn and Michela. He is also survived by four brothers and two sisters, all of Italy; two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law of Italy. Armando was predeceased by his father Francesco Paolo De Rosa, and his mother Giuseppina De Rosa. TRAQUAIR - Mr. James (Jim) Henderson Traquair, beloved husband of Mrs. Marion Traquair of Calgary, passed away at the Foothills on July 7, 1997 at the age of 75 years. Jim served overseas in World War II with the P.P.C.L.I. He was an employee with the Calgary Herald for thirty years. Jim volunteered several years with the Acadia Community Association, Softball Calgary, Calgary District Lacrosse Association, and was a member of the Calgary Winter Club. Jim also enjoyed many hours of camping during the summer, and bowling and skiing during the winter months. Besides his loving wife, Jim is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ian and Cheryl Traquair of Calgary, David Blair of California, Michael and Catherine Blair of Airdrie; and three daughters and one son-in-law, Judy and Ed Shaurette of Caroline, Linda Traquair, and Kathryn Blair, both of Calgary; as well as seven grandchildren, Cam, Kim, Brad, Trevor, Shannon, Scott and Stacey; and one great-grandson Joel. He is also survived by one sister Marjorie Johnson of Minnedosa, Manitoba; one brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Jessie Traquair of Edmonton; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his first wife Olive in 1977, a brother Colin and a sister Jean. TUCKER - Marie E. Tucker, formerly of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away at the Beverly Centre For Long Term Care on Monday, November 24, 1997 at the age of 87 years. Marie is survived by two sons, Tom and his wife Jean of Edmonton, Neil and his wife Donna of Calgary; as well as four grandchildren, Susanne of Edmonton, Gordon of Bermuda, Nicole and Cameron of Calgary. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon in 1962. A private family Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S "Park Memorial Chapel".
