Predeceased by brothers, Paul, Bill and George, and daughter-in-law Judi. Survived by his loving wife Judy; children, Corrine, Darlene (Al) Thomas, and Larry (Barbara); grandchildren, Kevin Bradley, Trevor and Niki; brothers, Nick (Nancy), Steve (Rosie), Joe (Mabel); and sister Ethel Mohler. John will be missed by many other relatives and friends. John served in the R.C.A.F. until he retired at the age fifty, then worked for Canadian Airlines until his retirement at age sixty-five. SCOTT - Ralph Mitchell, late of Vancouver, B.C., passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 31, 1997 at the age of 61 years. Predeceased by his parents, William and Maemi, and brother D'Arcy, he is survived by his loving family and many friends. TRIGG - Kenneth Trigg, of Nanton, formerly of Calgary, passed away at the High River Hospital on December 20, 1997 at the age of 66 years. Ken is survived by is wife Anne Trigg, Nanton; his daughter Lesley (Reg) Wild, Surrey, B.C.; his sons, Martin Trigg and Nigel (Carol) Trigg, both of Nanton and Philip Trigg, of Calgary; and his grandchildren, Adam and Stevie Wild. He is also survived by his sister Audrey Evans in England. Born in Leeds, England, Ken came to Calgary in 1967 where he was employed by Venn's Upholstery for a number of years, later purchasing and operating that business until moving to Nanton. Services will be held at SNODGRASS Funeral Chapel, High River on Tuesday, December 23, at 2:00 p.m. Cremation at Parklawn Crematorium, High River. SEWELL - Margaret Olver (nee Binns) Sewell, known to her family and friends as "Dot", passed away at the George Boyack Nursing Home on June 29, 1997; born July 9, 1904 in Medicine Hat, AB. She was predeceased by her loving husband Samuel, her twin brother Richard (Dick), three brothers, Dean, Pete, Jim, and two sisters, Jean and Marie. She is survived by her loving daughters, Margaret and Donna and their husbands, Otto Fugmann and Ronald Hannaford; six grandchildren, Karen and John Fee, Lynne Evans, Diana and Raymond Turner, Sherri and Patrick Moynahan, Brian and Jo Hannaford and Debbie and Richard Shannon; great-grandchildren, Christopher Evans, Jason and Lorene Fee, and Chelsea Moynahan. Married on August 5, 1931 in Calgary, Dot lived her early married life in Black Diamond and Turner Valley. In 1945, the family moved to Trinidad and Venezuela, returning to Canada in 1950; she resided in Calgary the rest of her life. Dot received a Provincial Medal of Recognition for her long-time Native Alberta status. She resided the past nine years at the George Boyack Nursing Home. MACARTHUR - Allister MacArthur passed away tragically as the result of a motor vehicle accident on June 29, 1997. Al will be sadly missed by sisters and brothers, Marion (Earl), John (Jean), Linda (Al), Garfield and Alice; his aunt Margaret of Quebec; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, one brother and one sister. Al will be sadly missed by many friends and associates and will always be remembered as the man who always had a smile and humorous comment to everyone. REDICK - Roy Dean Redick of Airdrie, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 14, 1997, at the age of 57 years. Roy's life began in the small farming community of Maple Creek, Saskatchewan. He moved to Calgary as a young man and began an association with the Ford Motor Company which would last for over thirty years. During this time, Roy earned many awards for service quality and commitment to a job well done. His love of four wheel driving led him to a fond appreciation of the environment and his involvement in its conservation. Roy's children regret not knowing that their father's time was so short and that they were not able to spend more time enjoying life with him. He is survived by his mother Ella Redick of Maple Creek; his common-law wife Marg Sharlow of Airdrie; three children, Kevin, Leslie (Stacey), and Deborah, all of Calgary, and their mother Dorothy; four brothers, Lloyd (Verla) of Regina, Harve (Donna) of Maple Creek, and Glen (Mary) of Tucson, Arizona, and Don of Calgary; and two young grandchildren, Rachel and Zachary Redick of Calgary. Roy was predeceased by his father Clifford Redick. WOLFF - Mrs. Anna (nee Skarzynska). Anna was born in Warsaw to an old family of Polish nobility. Persecuted during the Second World War, she joined the Polish Resistance movement as a young girl. As a member of AK (the underground army), she actively participated in the 1944 Warsaw Uprising. The post war years of Communist rule proved particularly difficult for her, but she learned to act with patience and grew up with perseverance. Anna emigrated to Canada in 1962 and, because she knew the French language, she first settled in Montreal. In 1978, she moved to Calgary, quickly overcoming the difficulties of the English language and entered the real estate business. She proved talented, hard-working and personable. She earned great professional success working till the end, maintaining highest professional standards, always adding great personal charm to whatever she did. Anna was a member of the Progressive Conservative party. An avid swimmer, golfer and fitness fan, she was also a member of the Calgary Glencoe Club, and was interested in social bridge. All her life she kept active, and will be remembered for her energy, integrity, cheerfulness and love of life. "Spij Anno w Pokoju Wiecznym!" She is survived by her sister Maria Meers; brother-in-law Joe Meers; nephew Paul Ruminski and wife Hanna, and children, Lukasz, Tomasz and Malinka; and cousin Zula Blendowska. From her Colleagues: Anna was consistently a top performer at Century 21 Bamber Realty for the past three years. She was a pleasure to be around and work with; her zest for life and sense of humor were contagious, and she will be greatly missed. She went through some tough economic times during her long career, but she came out on top. Her success was well deserved because of her incredible work ethic, integrity and attention to her clients' needs. Everyone who met Anna loved her right away and respected her. Prior to her three years at Century 21 Bamber, she worked for a short time at Century 21 New Bar Realty and prior to that, for approximately ten years, was at Boardwalk Realty. WONG - Kwan Sin passed away at her residence on July 17, 1997 at the age of 78 years.
