She will be forever remembered by her dear friend George Zanin; her daughter Verna Eklund (Danny) of Calgary; her three sons, Norman MacDonald (Denise), of Abbottsford, BC, Mr. Stacey Lohrer of Calgary, and Collin Lohrer (Kathy) of Medicine Hat; eight grandchildren, Tammy-Lee (Wesley), Travis (Heidi), Adrian, Jeffery, Hillery, Zachary, Terra and Jeremy; Carly; one sister Doreen Peters (Les); one brother Mervin Fitzhenry; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Louise was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Vivian Fitzhenry, a granddaughter Dawn, and two sisters, Marie Rambo and Lavina Redleback. Services will be held in the chapel of Pierson's Funeral Home, 4121 - 17 Avenue S.E., Calgary, on Wednesday, September 10 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. George Robinson officiating. LONG - Walter Bradbury, on September 9, 1997. Born February 11, 1917 in Chelsea North London, England. Immigrated with his family to Canada as a young man and settled in the Dunster area of British Columbia. Walter married Jean Kathleen Clark at Tete Jaune Cache, B.C. in 1941. Walter served in the Canadian Air Force from 1942 to 1945 retiring as a Flight Lieutenant. Walter settled briefly in Edmonton after the war before moving to Calgary where he enjoyed a long and successful career in the roofing industry. Walter retired to the Windermere area in 1985 where he was active in the Lions Club as well as enjoying golf and travel. Walter was predeceased by Jean in May of this year. He will be lovingly remembered by sons, Gary (Vickie), Gordon (Liz); grandsons, Kelsey, Bradley, Tyson and granddaughter Jaime; as well as his many friends and relatives. The Long family is grateful for the kind care and attention of the staff of the Invermere Hospital. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on September 13, 1997 at Christ Church, 110 - 7 Avenue, Invermere, B.C. Cremation in care of McPherson Funeral Services, Cranbrook, B.C. LORENSON - On September 16, 1915 God sent an angel from heaven to inspire and enrich all of our lives. On Earth we called this angel Mary Fraser Lorenson and we treasured her with all of our hearts. On October 31, 1997, God called his angel back home. Mary Lorenson is survived by her son, three daughters, and their extended families. While we all miss this angel, Mary Lorenson, we will forever hold in our hearts the treasures she has given us. MONTEITH - Herbert Leslie "Les" of Port Stanley, on Tuesday, July 1, 1997, at his late residence, Extendicare, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Mary Margaret (McCormick) Monteith; and dearly loved father of Russell and his wife Helen Monteith of Port Stanley, Shirley and her husband Tom Doupe of Calgary, and the late Robert Monteith. Dear father-in-law of Donna Monteith of Toronto. Dear brother of Evelyn Baxter of St. Thomas, Winnie Harris of Dutton, Minnie Davis of Toronto, Chris Lock of California, Lorraine Burnside of California, and Robert Monteith of Windsor. Predeceased by four brothers, Allan, Norman, Kenneth and Albert, and a sister Doris. Sadly missed by eight grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME, 45 Elgin Street, St. Thomas, Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A private family Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Rev. MONTGOMERY - Mrs. Margaret Thomas Montgomery (nee Laing), passed away peacefully at the Consort Extended Care Facility, on Thursday, November 27, 1997 at the age of 82 years. Margaret was born on April 6, 1915 near Blackfalds. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-two years, Herbert; her two daughters, Carol Montgomery of Calgary, and Jean and her husband Eric Mayes of Victoria, B.C.; and her two grandchildren, Kevin and Kory Mayes. She is also survived by Jerry and Heather Popoff and their family of Calgary, and David and Connie Laing and their family of Edmonton. Margaret went peacefully to be with her Lord and joins her sister Jean Laing, and her brother The Reverend William Laing; as well as the others who have predeceased her. Funeral Services will be held at the Bethany Baptist Church, 3901 - 44 Street, Red Deer, on Monday, December 1, 1997 at 1:00 p.m. with the Reverend James Sinclair and Pastor Dennis Burriss officiating. MOORE - Charles Raymond Moore passed away suddenly on Friday, September 5, 1997 at the age of 29 years. Ray will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by many family and friends. RUCCI - Mr. Biase Rucci of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Bethany Care Centre on September 9, 1997, at the age of 87 years. Biase came to Canada in 1952, first settling in Montreal, he moved to Calgary in 1953. He was a member of St. Ann's Parish and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish. Biase was a longtime employee of C.P. Rail. He will be lovingly remembered by his son and daughter-in-law, John and Irma Rucci (nee Sailer) of Calgary, as well as by grandsons, Jason and Jeffrey, all of Calgary. Biase is also remembered by his brothers, Guiseppe Rucci of Italy, and Serfino and Antonio Rucci, both of Calgary. He was predeceased by his wife of sixty-one years, Maria, in October of 1996. RUDIN - Mrs. Mara Rudin of Calgary, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Thursday, July 17, 1997 at the age of 78 years. Mara was born in Croatia on December 7, 1918. She moved to Canada in 1984 with her husband Janko Rudin, who shortly after passed away in February 1985. Mara will be lovingly remembered by her son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Mary Rudin; two grandchildren, John Rudin, and Barbara and her husband Zeljko Rados; and a great-granddaughter Cristina Rados.
