Predeceased by his wife Margaret in 1984. He will be dearly missed by his family, loving mother Rose Yesdresyski of Kelowna; daughter Marnie Yesdresyski of Edmonton; two sons, David and Dwayne Yesdresyski of Edmonton; three sisters, Joan Richter (Dave) of Kelowna, Lynn Webb (Keith) of Armstrong, B.C., Bonnie Penner (Harvey) of White Rock, B.C.; nieces, nephews and extended family. Sadly predeceased by his brother Gerry, and father Len. He served for thirty-six years as a photographic technician with the Canadian Armed Forces. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 14 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of SPRINGFIELD FUNERAL HOME, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, B.C. with Reverend Keith Webb officiating. YOUNG - James "Jim" Young of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Brentwood Nursing Home on December 28, 1997 at the age of 84 years. Jim was predeceased by his wife Edna on December 17, 1996. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Betty and son-in-law Gordon Russell; his grandsons, Michael and Gordan; and by numerous other relatives and friends. YULE - Margaret Elizabeth, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 18, 1997, at her home in Saanichton, B.C. Margaret is survived by her loving sons, Gordon (Louise) and David (Lynne); two grandchildren, Michael and Kenneth; two sisters, Doris Brigham and Mary-Lou (Gordon) Holland; and many other family and friends. LUKAS - On Monday, November 10, 1997 Mr. Lou Lukas of Vegreville, Alberta, passed away at home at the age of 72 years. Born August 27, 1925. Lou is survived by his loving family, two daughters, Bonnie (Allan) of Marwayne, Roberta (Art) of Calgary; his father Louie Lukas of Lethbridge; three stepsons and two stepdaughters, Jerry (Karen) of Edson, David (Shirley) of Airdrie, Bob (Joy), Suzanne (Norman) and Debbie (Rainer), all of Provost; thirteen grandchildren, Matthew, Jeremy, Kayla, Lori, Christopher, Mandy, Jennifer, Scott, Jesse, Kevin, Daniel, Derek and Kyle; three sisters, Helen, Irene, Violet (George). Predeceased by his wife Joyce, July 9, 1997, his mother Mary. ROBINSON - Alice Robinson (nee Hamerl) of Calgary, passed away at the Rosedale Hospice on Sunday, December 14, 1997 after a courageous battle with cancer. Alice was born in Heisler, Alberta and worked in Camrose and Calgary as a dental assistant. She met her husband Doug in Calgary and married in 1948. Alice always enjoyed looking after her home and entertaining friends. Alice is survived by her family, three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Edna and Peter Maciborsky of Grande Prairie, Alberta, Jean and Wallace Comeaux, of Anchorage, Alaska and Doris Hamerl of Grande Prairie, Alberta. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Derril Maciborsky, Grande Prairie, Alberta, Joan and Randy Hoffman, Grimshaw, Alberta, Terri and Butch Currier, North Pole, Alaska and Michael Comeaux, Anchorage, Alaska. Predeceased byher husband Douglas Robinson and parents, Christian and Theresa Hamerl, brother Arthur Hamerl and sister Delores Hamerl. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony's Catholic Church (5340 - 4 Street S.W.) on Thursday, December 18, 1997 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. John L. Maes, Celebrant. HEYWOOD - Rex Heywood, beloved husband of Mrs. Georgie Heywood, High River, passed away at the High River Hospital on June 13, 1997 at the age of 92 years. Besides his wife, Rex is survived by his daughters, Jacqueline (Wayne) Kotch, Stony Plain, and Dianne (Dan) Dane, Calgary; his sons, Bernard (Emma) Heywood, Didsbury, and Kenneth (Sandra) Heywood, Innisfail; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Tracy Martel, Revelstoke, Ruth (Llew) Christie, Surrey, and Thelma (George) Rhodes, Lethbridge; and his brother Ken Heywood, Kelowna. He was predeceased by his sister Elnora Neilson and his brothers, Tom and Leo Heywood. WIBERG - Susan Lorraine Wiberg, passed away at the Foothills Hospital on June 29, 1997, at the age of 48 years. Susan was devoted to her family, her art, and the children she cared for as a nanny. WIGHTMAN - Mr. James (Ben) Wightman of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Glenmore Auxiliary Hospital on June 25, 1997 at the age of 74 years. Ben is survived by five children, Nicki, James, Ron, Carol, Brian and his wife Jennifer; five grandchildren, Jared, Quinton, Ashli, Michelle, and Jamie; his sister Winona, and two brothers, Earle and Cliff. He was predeceased by his wife Daisy (Kay) in 1993. Ben will be sadly missed by those who knew him.
