DAWSON - Mr. Ronald James Dawson, passed away at the Peter Lougheed Hospital on October 18, 1997, at the age of 47 years. Ron is survived by two sons, James and Jason of Marwayne, Alberta; his loving mother Christina Northcott; sister Dianna Middlemiss; and brother Keith Dawson, all of Calgary; a stepbrother Robert Jeffery (Carol) of B.C.; a niece, nephew and many aunts and uncles. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S "Chapel of the Bells", (2720 Centre Street North), on Friday, October 24, 1997, at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Bryan D. Derksen of McDougall United Church officiating. Reception to follow at Legion 284. In loving memory of Ron Dawson, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, "Chapel of the Bells", 2720 CENTRE STREET NORTH. (10/22/1997).

CRAIGG - Ellyson Craigg passed away peacefully on December 19, 1997 at the age of 59 years. Ellyson is survived by her sister Jean Tisius, and two nephews, Brent and Brian. Due to Ellyson's wishes there will be no Funeral Service. Arrangements and Cremation arranged by PIERSON'S FUNERAL SERVICE LTD. (12/21/1997).

CRANN - George (Winty) Crann passed away peacefully on September 10, 1997 at the age of 71 years. George was predeceased by his wife Betty. He is survived by twelve children, thirty grandchildren; and his sister Winnie of Cambridge, Ont. George had been a proud and active member of AA for the last twenty-two years. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Memorial Services will be held at LEYDEN'S "Chapel of Remembrance" (17 Avenue and 2 Street S.W.), on Saturday, September 13, 1997 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Doug Webb officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on behalf of George to the Canadian Cancer Society, Second Floor, 215 - 12 Avenue S.E., Calgary, AB T2G 1A2. Arrangements and Cremation in care of LEYDEN'S FUNERAL HOMES LTD. and Bow Valley Crematorium. (9/12/1997).

HALDANE - Arthur William (Bill) Haldane, beloved husband of Yvonne and father of Dan and Joy, passed away on September 12, 1997 at the age of 51 years. Bill is survived by his four sisters, six brothers and their spouses. He will also be fondly remembered by his "second son" Colin McDonald. Born November 22, 1945, Bill devoted his life to family, friends and career in his happy boisterous way. Bill attended Montana State University, Bozeman, Montana and received his degree in Civil Engineering. Thereafter he entered into an ambitious career in the oil and gas industry. At Bill's request, we invite those who would like to remember him to an informal memorial gathering to be held at the Al Azhar Shrine Temple, 5225 - 101 Street N.W., Wednesday, September 17, 1997, between 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sincere thanks to family and friends, Dr. Aufricht, Dr. Langevin, Dr. Chan and the nurses and staff at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre. A special thanks to Dr. Wong for his efforts. Our heartfelt thank-you goes to the staff at the Agape Manor for their loving care they provided during Bill's final days. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Agape Manor Hospice, 1302 - 8 Avenue N.W., Calgary, Alberta T2N 1B8 or the Foothills Academy Society, 745 - 37 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta T2N 4T1. MCANGUS - Jack Dallis passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital on September 14, 1997 at the age of 64 years. Best friend and loving companion of Marlene Davison. He is also survived by his brother Donald (Edith) McAngus and sister Wilda (Alex) Lamont; as well as five nephews and one niece, all of Ontario. Jack is predeceased by his parents, Kathleen and Bill, and his brother Glen. Jack dedicated twenty-one years of service to ensuring that the grounds of Market Mall were always beautifully landscaped and properly maintained. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at FOSTER'S FUNERAL HOMES "Garden Chapel", 3220 - 4 Street N.W. on Wednesday, September 17, 1997 at 3:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre, 1331 - 29 Street N.W., Calgary, AB, T2N 4N2. DAVIS - Eleanor Lillian, beloved wife of Gordon Davis, Longview, passed away at the Oilfields Hospital, Black Diamond on December 12, 1997 at the age of 81 years. Eleanor is also survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Rex and Donna Davis, Nanton; her grandchildren, Michelle and Tami Davis; and her great-grandson Jordan Davis. She is also survived by her brothers, Bill and Lena Stephenson, High River, Herb and Billie Stephenson, Okotoks, Archie and Catherine Stephenson, Windermere, B.C., and Ed Stephenson, High River. Funeral Services will be held at the High River Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 17 at 1:30 p.m., Pastors Douglas Moffat and Ben Klumpenhower officiating. Interment will precede the Service at Nanton Cemetery. A Reception will follow at the Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. SNODGRASS FUNERAL HOME LTD., Directors (12/16/1997).

CRAIG - James (Fawcett) Craig of Alix, passed away peacefully at the age of 66 years. He will be remembered by his loving wife Barb; his children, Ken (Sandy) Craig of Airdrie, Sheree (Rick) Cronk of Calgary, Steve (Kate) Craig of Lethbridge; his grandchildren, Kelly, Kurtis, Dean, Jennifer and Justin; his mother Blodwen Buchanan; and sister Bette (Ted) Mattle. He was predeceased by his son Brian (1958), and his father James Fawcett Craig Sr. (1966). Funeral Services will be held from the Alix United Church on Monday, July 21, 1997 at 3:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. If friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Alix United Church Memorial Fund or the Red Deer Regional Health Care Centre I.C.U. Unit, Bag 5030, Red Deer, AB, T4N 6R2. D'ANTONIO - Christopher Steven (Chris). Suddenly, as a result of an accident, in Calgary, Alberta on Sunday, December 14, 1997 in his 36th year. Dear father of Micheal and Nadine of Calgary. Beloved son of Margaret D'Antonio-Curran, and Eugene D'Antonio Sr.Brother of Tracy of North Bay and Eugene of Fonthill. Survived by two nieces, Lindsey andTrista. Predeceased by Mr. and Mrs. G. Bell, and Mr. and Mrs. F. D'Antonio. Cremation has taken place in Calgary, Alberta. A Funeral Memorial Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria, 67 Church Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, December 18, 1997 at 10:00 a.m. If desired, donations may be made to the Head Injury Association, P.O. Box 2338, St. Catharines, L2M 9Z9 or to the Micheal and Nadine Trust Fund, c/o Bank of Nova Scotia, 209 Main West, North Bay, Branch No. 70722. Funeral arrangements entrusted to "HULSE and ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME", 75 Church Street, St. Catharines. (12/17/1997).
