Besides his loving wife, Lorne is also survived by his daughter Jeannette Payne of Calgary; two grandsons, Dwayne Payne and Don Carpenter; a granddaughter Teena Payne; and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Vera Paul on February 15, 1986. WYNNE - Mary (Mamie) McKenzie Wynne passed away at the Foothills Hospital on December 8, 1997 at the age of 86 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Frank B. Mary is survived by sons, Lorne (Janette), Jerry (Shirley); and daughter Doreen Fowlie, all of Calgary; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Mamie and Frank were lifetime members of the Optimist Club and past members of the Calgary Rock and Lapidary Club. Mamie and Frank resided in the Renfrew district for fifty-three years and Mamie spent her last three years in the Mountview Seniors Apartments. Mamie will always be warmly remembered for her loving generosity of spirit to all of those who knew her and her devoted love and support to her family. She will be deeply missed. SCOTT - William A. (Bill), beloved husband of Mrs. Orla Scott for fifty-six years, passed away at the Rosedale Hospice on December 27, 1997 at the age of 77 years. Bill is survived by his children, Bryan (Brenda) Scott, Bonnie (Doug) Cranston, Cheryl (Bruce) Haight, all of Calgary; his grandchildren, Elisse Bagnall, Brett Scott, James and Colleen Cranston, and Ryan and Caitlin Haight; great-grandchildren, Melissa, Marcus, Brandon and Justin. He is also survived by his brothers, Earl, Emerson, Glen, Vince; and by his sisters, Lena and Florence, all of Ontario. He is predeceased by his parents, William Robert and Annie Scott, his brothers, Raymond and Guy, and his sister Lila. MACHON - Olive Mabel is the loving mother of Jeanette (Gerry) Wright of California and John Machon (Cathy) of Calgary; as well as seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Glenn McIntosh and Gordon McIntosh, both of Edmonton, AB. Olive was predeceased by her husband J.L. Machon and her son George Machon. MACK - (nee Zimmerman). Mary of Calgary passed away at the Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre on December 21, 1997 at the age of 90 years. She is the loving mother of six sons and four daughters. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as many other family members. Mary was predeceased by her loving husband Adam in 1992. MACKENZIE - Catherine. Born in Calgary, January 31, 1912, passed away June 22, 1997. Catherine (Kay) will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Survived by her loving family, sisters, Janet and Mina; and niece Roberta (Vancouver); nephew Stewart (Japan); brother-in-law Russell. Predeceased by sister Rachel (Calgary). Prior to her retirement Catherine was on the staff of the Calgary General Hospital. She was a lifetime active member of Knox Presbyterian Church. Committal will take place at Burnsland Cemetery Family Plot, Wednesday June 25 at 1:00 p.m. Celebration of Catherine's Life will take place at Knox Presbyterian Church, Wednesday, June 25 at 2:30 p.m. The Reverend M. Marpole will officiate at both Services. RISLER - Mr. Francis (Frank) Robert Risler, beloved best friend and husband of Mrs. Kimberley Risler of Innisfail, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 20, 1997, at the age of 34 years. Frank was born May 11, 1963, in Lethbridge and moved to Calgary in 1965. He later moved with his family to Crossfield and attended school there, as well as Airdrie. After high school, Frank moved to Fort MacMurray for six years where he apprenticed as an industrial electrician. Frank and Kim were married in 1985. In Calgary, Frank enrolled in the Industrial Instrumentation Technology Program S.A.I.T. Following his graduation, he began working for Amoco Canada at the Crossfield gas plant. In 1995, he was transferred to Innisfail. Besides his loving wife, Kim, Frank is survived by a son Anthony, age eight; and four daughters, Brittany, age nine, Laurissa, age seven, Mattison, age four, and Eden, age eighteen months; and his sister-in-law Brandy Paris. He is also survived by his parents, Bill and Dene Risler of Crossfield; and his mother-in-law Elsa Jackson and family; as well as Robert Jackson; two brothers and two sisters and their families, Jim of Airdrie and his sons, Greg and Brad; Maureen and Terry Parkinson of Courtenay, B.C. and their sons, Bill and Michael; Rick and Jennifer Risler of Olds and their daughters, Staci, Jillian and Danielle; and Linda and Tony Backs of Crossfield and their family, A.J., Jayden and Chelsea. Funeral Services will be held at Innisfail Baptist Church (5204 Woodland Road, South of 37 Avenue, Innisfail), today, December 23, 1997, at 1:00 p.m.with Pastor Garry Francis officiating.
