MIQUELON - Mrs. Alice (Ally) Verna Miquelon (nee Doel), beloved wife or Mr. Philip Miquelon of Calgary, passed away peacefully in Calgary on December 15, 1997, at the age of68 years. Alice was born in Wetaskiwin on March 10, 1929 and moved to Calgary in 1948.She worked at Lithocraft for a number of years and finished off her accounting career at MacPherson, Kelly & O'Neil. She was a board member of the Women's Villa and touched many lives through her charitable work and genuine compassion for people. Besides her loving husband, Alice is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Kelly and Jacqueline Miquelon of Gwynne; and two daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn Rae and David Williams and Dixie Miquelon and Randy Adrian, all of Calgary; as well as three grandchildren, Richard and Gavin Williams and Victoria Oliver. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Harold Doel of Wetaskiwin, Ruby Linden of Gwynne, Alberta, Robert Doel of Wetaskiwin, and Reta Inglis of Calgary. Good night little one! Funeral Services will be held at Riverview United Church (824 Imperial Way S.W.) on Friday, December 19, 1997 at 2:00 p.m. with Fred Williams officiating. MIRTLE - Mrs. Lucille Alberta Mirtle (Bannatyne), of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Bow View Manor on June 16, 1997, at the age of 92 years. She will be lovingly missed by her family whom she loved dearly and always put first in her life. Lucille is the loving mother of a son and daughter-in-law, John David and Judith Bannatyne; and a daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy Jean and Graydon Morrison, all of Calgary; as well as by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband John Gray Bannatyne and her second husband John Alexander Mirtle. NARUM - Margaret, beloved wife of Mr. Justin Narum of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital on October 21, 1997 at the age of 80 years. Margaret is survived by her sister Elizabeth Judson of Black Diamond, AB; and her sister-in-law Bernice Koenig of Calgary, AB. She is predeceased by her two brothers and four sisters. Margaret will be fondly and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. NASHCHUK-KOZDROWICKI - Annie passed away at Strathmore Continuing Care Unit on July 19, 1997 at the age of 93 years. She was born in Poland on August 3, 1903. Annie was predeceased by her first husband John Nashchuk in 1954, her only son Bill in 1977, and her second husband Walter Kozdrowicki in 1978. She is survived by three daughters, Helen (Mack) Walper of Ashmont, Alberta, Justina (Roy) Kary of Mannville, Alberta, and Mary (Emmet) Burke of Rockyford, Alberta; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. NEE - Ronald Nee passed away very peacefully following a short illness at the Rockyview General Hospital on Monday, June 30, 1997 at the age of 68 years. He is survived by his loving companion Jenny Nicklassen; as well as many family members and friends. A Gathering to Celebrate Ron's Life will be on Sunday, July 6, 1997. A Family Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date in Fernie, B.C. She was predeceased by her husband Jim in 1984, son Tom in 1996, and brother Charlie Wright in 1995. RAYBURN - Cecil Harold Rayburn of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Peter Lougheed Centre on September 14, 1997 at the age of 80 years. Cec will be lovingly remembered by his wife of fifty-nine years, Lillian; his daughter Beverley Rayburn; his son Donald (Sarah) Stevens-Rayburn; three grandchildren, Peggy Dickson, Richard Harding and Catherine Rayburn; and by six great-grandchildren, Heather, Steven, Samantha and Michael Dickson, Crystal and Robert Harding. He was predeceased by his son Kenneth Harold Rayburn in 1970.
