He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of thirty-two years, Sheila. Also survived by sons, Lee, Ronald; daughter Danna, son-in-law Ken, his loving grandsons, Jesse and Justin; and brother Clark of Standard. Roy was born and raised in Standard and moved to Crossfield in 1975. In 1988, Roy and Sheila became Realtors for Century 21 Castlewood of Airdrie where they enjoyed working together until Roy's illness. Roy was predeceased by his parents, Marius and Evelyn, brothers, Ron, Harold and Norman. Memorial Services to be held at the Crossfield Community Hall on Monday, November 10, 1997 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Crossfield Minor Hockey Association, General Delivery, Crossfield, T0M 0S0. SCHULZE - John Hermann passed away peacefully with courage and dignity at the Agape Manor Hospice on Thursday, June 5, 1997 at the age of 69 years. John will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Anna; his children, Carl and his wife Cathy, Rita Lambert and Herb Steinke, and Roy and his wife Melanie; his eight grandchildren, Christie, Katelyn, Amanda, Sara, Chelsey, and Ryan Schulze, and Timothy and Danielle Lambert. John will also be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Barbara and her husband Bill Graham; and by his brother-in-law Joe Graf and his wife Katie; as well as by numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of the Agape Manor Hospice, and to Dr. Ken Cody for the kindness shown to John and his family. A Service of Remembrance will be held at FOSTER'S FUNERAL HOMES, Garden Chapel, 3220 - 4 Street N.W., on Monday, June 9, 1997 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Markus Wilhelm officiating. CHIASSON - Terri. "...And nothing 'gainst times scythe can make defence, save breed to brave him when he takes thee hence..." Terri Ella Garland Chiasson passed away on Sunday, November 30, 1997 at the Peter Lougheed Centre in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 69 years. Family and friends described her as a loving, compassionate, zestful and sometimes stubborn woman. Born Ella Cuthbert on May 4, 1928 in Callender, Ontario, Terri as she was widely known, lived in Carleton Place, Cambridge and Toronto before moving west and settling in Calgary, Alberta with her family. Terri is survived by her sister Thelma Roberts; by her sons and daughters, Bonnie, Donald, Linda, Mark and Shawn; her grandchildren, Aaron, Amanda, Ashley, Beverly Christina, Jaclyn, Jennifer, Lindsay, Nicholas, Stephanie and Timothy. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Corey, Courtney, Curtis, Daniel, Jordan, Kosandra and Taylor; and by her friends too numerous to mention. SCHMIDT - Aleksandra Schmidt (nee Makrocki), passed away peacefully at the Rockyview General Hospital on December 21, 1997 at the age of 82 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Lucy; son-in-law Andrew; grandsons, Michael and Oliver; as well as three sisters, Apolonia, Stanislawa and Julia; one brother Peter; and many dear relatives and friends. Aleksandra was born in Poland and immigrated to Canada in 1954. She was predeceased by her husband Alexander in 1974. Aleksandra was a most loving mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed deeply. Special thanks to Dr. Melling and all staff at Rockyview General Hospital as well as Glenmore Park Auxiliary Hospital. FORSYTHE - Mr. James (Jim) Scott, beloved husband of Adair Forsythe of Crossfield, Alberta, passed away at the Didsbury District Health Centre on July 21, 1997 at the age of 59 years. Jim was born in Weyburn, Saskatchewan on July 29, 1937 and moved to the family farm at Crossfield in 1952 where he resided until his death. He was a member of the Crossfield Masonic Lodge No. 48 A.F. and A.M., Starlight Chapter No. 109, O.E.S., and the Crossfield Legion No. 113. Jim was also very involved with the Alberta Amateur Hockey Association. He was a shareholder of the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede and was currently serving on the beef cattle committee. Jim worked as a volunteer in the community of Crossfield, most recently with the Crossfield Farmers Market. Besides his loving wife Adair, Jim is also survived by three sons, Scott and Debbie of Calgary, Kim and Noreen of Las Vegas, Robbie and Kristina of Calgary; three daughters, Carla and Peter of Kelowna, BC, Corrie and Bob of Yoho, BC, and Christina of Vancouver, BC; and four grandchildren, Josh, Ashley, Cody and Nicolas. He is also survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Bob Hunter; nephew Ken and niece Susan and her husband Chris Grant; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Northern Ireland and on the Prairies. He was predeceased by his father Edward in 1976 and his mother Ida in 1996. At Jim's request, there will be a private Service. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Crossfield Community Centre on Friday, July 25, 1997 at 3:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to S.T.A.R.S. MORRISON - Elizabeth (Betty) Morrison (nee Cowie) of Calgary, passed away at the Peter Lougheed Hospital on May 31, 1997 at the age of 71 years. She is the loving mother of eight children, Robert, Dan, Marshall, Terry, Ted, Roger, Mary-Helen and Tony; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Betty is also survived by a brother Bill Cowie; special friend Ruby Maidens; and numerous relatives and friends.
