SCHNEIDER - Paul Herbert Schneider of Calgary, passed away at the Peter Lougheed Hospital after a brief illness on July 1, 1997, at the age of 71 years. He is the loving father of Garrett and his wife Kelli, and loving grandfather to Cody. He will be sadly missed by his four-legged friend "Tippy". Paul is also survived by his sister Edith Perry. He was predeceased by Helen, his wife of forty-four years in 1994, parents, Adolph and Lydia, two sisters, Elsie and Violet, and brothers, Emil and Albert. Paul will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorial Services will be held in the Chapel of MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME, 17 Avenue S.E. at Garden Road (3 km East of 68 Street S.E.), on Friday, July 4, 1997 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY and FUNERAL HOME. (7/3/1997).

ROBERTSON - Francis (Ross) Robertson of Calgary, passed away at the Mayfair Nursing Home on Saturday, December 20, 1997 at the age of 84 years. Ross is survived by a daughter Anne Robertson of Calgary; and a son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Trish Robertson of Grande Prairie. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Stephen and Anne Robertson, Paul and Trisha Robertson, Catherine Robertson, Michelle de Graaff, Lisa and Albert Thum, and Michael deGraaff; as well as two great-grandchildren, Jennifer and David de Graaff. Ross is also survived by a sister Millie Marr of British Columbia. He is predeceased by his wife Joyce in 1986.Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Name Catholic Church, 2223 - 34 Street S.W., on Tuesday, December 23, 1997 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Stanislaw Lasko, S.D.S., Celebrant. Graveside Service to follow at St. Joseph's Section, Queen's Park Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Alzheimer's Society of Calgary, 1920 - 11 Street S.E. In living memory of Ross Robertson, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS and HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, "Park Memorial Chapel", 5008 ELBOW DRIVE S.W., CALGARY. (12/21/1997).

MACDONALD - Margaret Anne, aged 85 years, passed away November 4, 1997, widow of the late Walter MacDonald. Mrs. MacDonald is survived by a brother Don (Pat) Davis, Calgary; a sister Marion (Doug) Begg, Parksville, B.C.; and numerous nephews and nieces. At Margaret's request no Service will be held. Cremation. If desired, donations may be made to the charity of donor's choice. Arrangements and Cremation care of HERITAGE FAMILY FUNERAL SERVICES, "Heritage Funeral Home". (11/6/1997).

COOPER - Walter Leslie passed away suddenly at home on June 10, 1997 at the age of 77 years. Walter will be sadly missed by his children, Louise (Lorne) Hughes, Shirley Penman, Doug (Colleen) Cooper, and Susan (Loren) Drake; his eight granddaughters and four great-grandchildren. Walter was predeceased by his beloved wife Betty (1977). After leaving the Airforce, Walter was employed in Calgary for thirty-five years as a diesel mechanic with Greyhound Lines of Canada Ltd. Walter was loved and will be missed by all who knew him. A Service of Remembrance will be held at FOSTER'S FUNERAL HOMES, Garden Chapel, 3220 - 4 Street N.W., on Monday, June 16, 1997 at 12:30 p.m. with Reverend Frank Breisch officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Walter's name may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. At Foster's Funeral Homes (Garden Chapel) annual Christmas Candlelight Memorial Service, an "Ornamental Dove" will be dedicated in memory of Walter. LAWRENCE - Mr. Thomas L. Lawrence of Carstairs, passed away suddenly on October 15, 1997 at the age of 79 years. A Private Service will be held. Everyone is welcome to a Luncheon on October 20, 1997 at 3:30 p.m. from the Half Century Club in Carstairs. Memorial tributes may be made directly to the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation, 1820 Richmond Road S.W., Calgary, AB T2T 5C7. CAMPBELL - Michael Robert Campbell, of Calgary, passed away suddenly December 7, 1997 at the age of 37 years. He will be forever remembered by his best friend and companion, Linda Campbell; their daughter Christine; his sister Kelly Friesen (Rob), of Irricana; uncles, Carl Campbell (Sharon) of Airdrie, Don Peacock, and Jack Peacock (Bunny), all of Calgary; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Michael was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Marion Campbell. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Pierson's Funeral Home, 4121 - 17 Avenue S.E., this evening, Wednesday, December 10, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, December 11 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Lewry of Central United Church officiating. Cremation will follow. If friends desire, memorial tributes may be made toLinda Campbell for a trust fund to be set up for Christine. SCHMIDT - Louise May. On Wednesday, November 12, 1997, Louise Schmidt of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta passed away at the age of 59 years following a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband Lloyd; one daughter Robyn (Eric) Baxter of Tottenham, Ontario; one son Dennis at home; two grandsons, Zackary and Quinn; her mother-in-law Margaret Schmidt; one brother, five sisters, also numerous other relatives and friends. Louise was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Maria Bergan in 1987, and father-in-law Tony Schmidt in 1993. Those wishing to pay their last respects may do so on Friday, November 14, 1997 at the RIVERVIEW FUNERAL HOME, 10103 - 100 Avenue, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. or prior to the Funeral Service that will be held on Saturday, November 15, 1997 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 9909 - 90 Street, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Pastor Vern Vansteenburg will officiate with Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christ Lutheran Church Building Fund. RIVERVIEW FUNERAL SERVICES of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta in care of arrangements. SCOTT - Ralph Mitchell, late of Vancouver, B.C., passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 31, 1997 at the age of 61 years. Predeceased by his parents, William and Maemi, and brother D'Arcy, he is survived by his loving family and many friends. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 1997 at 2:00 p.m. in MOUNT PLEASANT FUNERAL HOME, 306 East 11 Avenue, Vancouver, B.C. Cremation.
