SCOTT - William A. (Bill), beloved husband of Mrs. Orla Scott for fifty-six years, passed away at the Rosedale Hospice on December 27, 1997 at the age of 77 years. Bill is survived by his children, Bryan (Brenda) Scott, Bonnie (Doug) Cranston, Cheryl (Bruce) Haight, all of Calgary; his grandchildren, Elisse Bagnall, Brett Scott, James and Colleen Cranston, and Ryan and Caitlin Haight; great-grandchildren, Melissa, Marcus, Brandon and Justin. He is also survived by his brothers, Earl, Emerson, Glen, Vince; and by his sisters, Lena and Florence, all of Ontario. He is predeceased by his parents, William Robert and Annie Scott, his brothers, Raymond and Guy, and his sister Lila. A Memorial Service will be held at the Chapel of MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, December 31, 1997 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society (Second Floor, 215 - 12 Avenue S.E., Calgary, AB T2G 1A2). Cremation and Arrangements entrusted to MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY and FUNERAL HOME, 17 Avenue S.E. at Garden Road (3 km East of 68 Street S.E.). (12/29/1997).

SINCLAIR-FURGESON - M. Jane Sinclair-Furgeson, beloved wife of Peter Kim Furgeson of Calgary, passed away at the Peter Lougheed Hospital on December 16, 1997, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 45 years. Jane was born April 14, 1952 in Owen Sound, Ontario and received a Bachelor of Administration from the University of Regina in 1992. She made a significant contribution to the financial institutions that she worked for including the Royal and Credit Union. Jane provided expertise in the area of loans and employee training programs because she enjoyed dealing with people from all walks of life. She cherished those weekends with Peter at Lake Windermere at the Marina. Besides her loving husband, Jane is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Victoria and Paul Salvatore of Brooks, Alberta; stepdaughter Roni-Jean Furgeson and stepson Cameron Peter Furgeson, both of Canmore, Alberta; mother Grace Sinclair of Brooks; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Doug and Joey Sinclair of Brooks, Alberta, Steve and Lee Sinclair of Calgary; and sister Anne Miller of Regina, Saskatchewan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S "Park Memorial Chapel", (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.), on Friday, December 19, 1997 at3:00 p.m. with Pastor Rick Ball of Valley Christian Assembly, Invermere, officiating. Family Graveside Service to follow at Brooks Cemetery, Brooks, Alberta. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society, Second Floor, 215- 12 Avenue S.E., Calgary, Alberta T2G 1A2. HALL - Mary Clarissa Hall (nee Fisher) was born on December 26th, 1904 in Minnedosa, Manitoba. She died on June 9th, 1997 at The Dr. Richard Parsons Auxiliary Hospital in Red Deer, where she had resided since 1981. Mrs. Hall grew up in Winnipeg and completed her early education there. She attended Havergal College in Toronto, and the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree (cum Laude) in 1926. She was employed by The Great West Life Assurance Company until her marriage to William Albert Hall in 1932. They lived in Winnipeg, Fort William, and Regina before settling in Calgary in 1940. Mrs. Hall worked with many community organizations including Christ Church Altar Guild, Calgary Allied Arts Council, The Children's Hospital, and the Junior League of Calgary. The family relocated to Red Deer in 1954 and she resumed her church support at St. Luke's Anglican Church, and was involved in the establishment of the early Allied Arts group in Red Deer. Following the departure of her children from home, Mrs. Hall pursued a successful real estate career for more than a decade. She was predeceased by her husband in 1988. Her survivors include her daughter, Dr. Rosemary Hall Hazelton of Toronto; her daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie Lawrence and Judge Patrick Lawrence of Red Deer; three granddaughters; Gillian Lawrence of Calgary, Jennifer Lawrence Grantham of Los Angeles, and Pamela Lawrence Rigg of Calgary. A memorial service will be held at St. Luke's Anglican Church on Friday, June 13th at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome memorial tributes to The Alzheimer Society of Canada (please designate for research), 1320 Yonge Street, Suite 201, Toronto M4T 1X2 or The Dr. Richard Parsons Auxiliary Hospital, c/o The Red Deer Regional Hospital Foundation, P.O. Bag 5030, Red Deer T4N 6R2 (6/12/1997).

VISSER - Mr. John (Jack) C. Visser of Calgary, passed away at his residence on November 25, 1997 at the age of 68 years. Jack was born in Calgary on August 14, 1929. He spent his early childhood in Okotoks, Turner Valley and Moose Jaw. Jack graduated in Law from the University of Alberta in 1954 and practiced in Calgary and surrounding area. Jack is survived by a son Thomas (Tom); and a daughter Allyson Visser; and five loving grandchildren, Annaleis, Cecile, Tyrone, Forrest and Megan; as well as two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his twin brother Everett Visser and twin sisters, Margaret Southern and Christena Wood, all of Calgary. A Private Family Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S "Elboya Chapel" (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Saturday, November 29, 1997. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Schizophrenia Society of Alberta (206A - 12 Avenue S.W., Calgary, Alberta T2G 1A1). ROBERTS - Darlene Joyce Roberts passed away after a lengthy illness at the Foothills Hospital on June 21, 1997 at the age of 46 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Roxanne; grandson Dakota; nieces Tammy and Cindy; great-nephew Chad; great-nieces, Chelsea and Cierra; a sister-in-law Mina; and many close friends. Darlene was predeceased by her mother Thea Roberts, father David Roberts, step-father Jim Garrow, and brothers, Robert and Wayne Roberts. Funeral Services will be held at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME, 1708 - 16 Avenue N.W. (across from North Hill Shopping Centre) on Thursday, June 26, 1997 at 11:00 a.m., the Rev. J. Barry Foster officiating. CAMPBELL - Susanne Margaret Campbell of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 1997 at the age of 43 years. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Malcolm; and their children, Logan, Andrew and Jennifer; her parents, Gladys Ferrier and Norman (Bev) Ferrier of Calgary; her brothers, Mark and Kent of Calgary; and sister Laura of Phoenix, Arizona; as well as a large extended family and many friends. Susanne celebrated life and lived it to the fullest. She will forever be the "wind beneath our wings". A Memorial Service for Susanne will be held at Woodcliff United Church (5010 Spruce Drive S.W.), on Saturday, December 20, 1997 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Bob Mutlow officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (Second Floor, 215 - 12 Avenue S.E., T2G 1A2). LAMB - Margaret Alice Lamb passed away at the Bethany Care Centre on November 30, 1997 at the age of 100 years. Margaret is survived by children, Wilfred (Frances) Lamb, Gladys (Delmar) Nylin, Irene Cowan, and daughter-in-law Margaret Lamb; as well as thirteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Cecil, son James and brothers, William and Ernest. Funeral Services will be held at FOSTER'S GARDEN CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 3220 - 4 Street N.W. on Thursday, December 4, 1997 at 1:00 p.m. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the charity of donor's choice. SUTHERLAND - Mabel Ellen Sutherland (nee Whyte) of Calgary, formerly of Toronto, ON, passed away at The Beverly Centre for Long Term Care on Saturday, October 25, 1997 at the age of 93 years. She is the loving mother of three daughters and two sons-in-law, Margaret and Dietmar Lintner of Calgary, AB, Ruth Sutherland of Edmonton, AB, and Jeanne and Gordon McGregor of Ottawa, ON; as well as eight grandchildren, Donald, Lawrence, Bryan, Michael, Fiona, Malcolm, Karin and Brian; and nine great-grandchildren, Shanene, Dylen, Caitlin, Jazmine, Jeremy, Ryan, Dietmar, Jamie Lee, and Robin. She is predeceased by her husband Archibald, in 1986. Funeral Services will be held at Southwood United Church (10690 Elbow Drive S.W.), today, October 28, 1997 at 3:30 p.m. with the Rev. S.
