REMPEL - Mary passed into the presence of her Lord on Sunday, March 30, 2008 at the age of 85 years. She was pre-deceased by her husband John, one infant son Harry and by two brothers Peter and John.
She is survived by her loving family, son David, daughter Louise (Jim), son Harry, daughter Ruth Brickwood, by two granddaughters Theresa and Brenda Brickwood. She is also survived by her brother-in-law David and sister-in-law Hannah and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2008 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. in Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Rd. Abbotsford. Funeral Service will be held at Ross Road Community Church, 3160 Ross Road, Abbotsford on Friday, April 4, 2008 at 11:00 am followed by burial at Maclure Road Cemetery.

Russell Pastuck passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, March 29, 2008, after a long and fulfilling life. He spent the last two years in Calgary in the loving care of his daughter Maureen and her husband Ken.
Russell was the eldest child born to Anton and Maria Pastuck in Winnipeg. He graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1933 and received his Master's degree in Education from the University of Minnesota in 1955. He taught for forty years, twenty-eight of them at St. John's High School in Winnipeg as the physical education teacher. Education was very important to Russell and he spent his entire life learning and teaching in various capacities. Russell had an impact on those he met throughout his life and left a lasting impression right up to his final days. He was very proud of his children's and grandchildren's achievements.
Russell and Hilda retired to Abbotsford, in 1973 where they enjoyed their acreage and new friendships with their neighbors and with members of the Chilliwack and Abbotsford Shriners and Trinity Memorial United Church. Russell took great pleasure in caring for his animals, gardening, painting, golfing and many other activities.
Russell is survived by his wife Hilda of Abbotsford; his children Richard (Lena) of Tallahassee, FL, Doug (Vicki) of Winnipeg, MB, and Maureen (Ken) Parker of Calgary; his grandchildren, Ruth Anne (Matt) of Tallahassee, FL, Kerry Parker Smith (Paul) of Vancouver, B.C., Michael (Sue) Parker of Calgary, AB, and Daniel of Winnipeg, MB; his stepdaughters, Joan (Norm deceased) Rogers of Brooks, AB and Maureen (Eric) Janzen of Abbotsford, and their families; his sister Tiny Patton of Toronto, ON and Olga Dedick of Winnipeg, MB and many nieces and nephews. Russell was pre-deceased by his wife Ruth in 1963 and his sisters Anne and Carla.

It is with deep sadness that the family of Charlene Diane Lindgren announce her sudden passing on Saturday, March 29, 2008.
Charlene was born in Abbotsford on July 31, 1959, to Elwin and Diane Kelly. While working as a full-time dental receptionist for over 25 years in the communities she and her family lived in, Charlene also found time to be actively involved in many home based businesses, charity and community events. She was a lady that could truly craft loving and lasting relationships in a heartbeat. Her warm smile and bubbly personality were always there for everyone she met.
Charlene is survived by her husband and soul mate, Mark Lindgren; her cherished sons, Josh and Jerrit; and a multitude of family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at the Gathering Place (Broadview Evangelical Free Church) on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with Capreece Bowers and Pastor David Penner officiating.
Being that Charlene was so involved with the community, her family has created the Charlene Lindgren Minor Football Memorial Fund as a way for her to keep on giving to the community. 100% of the proceeds will go towards supporting local football teams and players. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at Charlene's Celebration of Life or to a special fund set-up for this purpose at Salmon Arm Savings and Credit Union.

PETERS, William - late of Abbotsford went to be with his Lord March 28, 2008 at the age of 94 years.
Bill is survived by his loving family; wife of 67 years Anne; children, Rosalind Harder (Frank), Art (Donna), Al (Bonnie) and Ron (Ruth); 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sister Mary Meleshko and many other relatives and friends.
He was pre-deceased by his daughter Marlene. There will be a viewing Wednesday, April 2 between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. at Bakerview MB Church, 2285 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford. Graveside service will take place at 11:00 a.m. at Vedder View Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. at Bakerview MB Church.

Passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 27th, 2008 at Menno Hospital in Abbotsford. Anna was born on December 5th, 1914 in Nikopol, Ukraine to her parents Peter and Anna Regehr. She came to Canada in 1944 with her sister Gertrude, and was later reunited with her brother Walter. She lived in Vancouver until 1999.
A funeral service for Anna will be held on Thursday April 3rd at King Rd. M.B Church with the viewing at 9:30am and the service to be held at 10am. The officiating will be done by Heins Schartner and Ben Baier.
Special thank you to all the staff at Menno Home and Menno Hospital for all the care that was given to Anna during her stay.

Steve Kremeniuk passed away at the age of 87 after a full life, rich with experiences and filled with many friendships.
Steve was pre-deceased by his parents, Stephan and Agafia; by Nellie, his partner of 47 years and his brothers, Peter and Walter.
Left to celebrate his life and mourn his passing is his sister, Nettie Bieleny; nephews, nieces and his many friends. Steve was born in Chotiwil, Ukraine on August 6, 1920. With his parents Stefan and Agafia Kremeniuk he immigrated to Canada when he was 10 years old. He spent his early years in Alberta and then almost 50 years in the Fraser Valley where he owned a number of garages and later enjoyed his retirement. A Celebration of Steve's life will be held at Woodlawn Mission Funeral Home, 7386 Horne Street, Mission on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, donations may be made in Steve's memory to the Mission Hospice Society.

Bruce passed away at Menno Home in Abbotsford, with his loving wife at his side, on March 27, 2008 at the age of 78. He was pre-deceased by his son Bryan.
Bruce will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sophie; son Victor (Kimberlee); daughter, Diane; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.

Born March 13, 1919 in Druzkovka, Russia passed away into the presence of his Lord and Saviour March 27, 2008 in Abbotsford.
Abe will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Sylvia (Dale) Wallace; Lynda (Bob) Stobbe and Hazel (Blair) Crabbe; grandchildren Bonnie, Scott, Andrea, Robby, Richard, Lyle and Neil; 10 great-grandchildren; his sister Lena and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his wife Katherine in 1997.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, April 1 at 3:00 p.m. at First Mennonite Church in Greendale followed by burial in Greendale Cemetery. Donations to the MCC in Abe's memory would be appreciated.

Alice was born on September 22, 1909 in Granum, Alberta and passed away June 03, 2008 in Abbotsford, B.C.
Predeceased by her infant sons Leonard & Donald, husband Roy Sparks, her brothers Earl and Clarence, her sisters Mabel and Mildred. Survived by her sister Faye, brother Allan (Alice), many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, great-great great niece, her step-daughter Fran and her family. Alice was an active member of the Sevenoaks Alliance Church and her faith in the Lord was very strong. Her family and friends meant very much to her. One of her other loves was driving, from
driving top dignitaries for the US Army in Edmonton, Alberta during World War II to driving all types of vehicles for Howard Carter Motors from Burnaby to all parts of Eastern USA. It was a very sad day for her when she turned in her drivers’ license at the age of 96. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. A special thank you to the entire nursing staff at Menno Hospital who took such great care of her. A Memorial Service will be held at the Sevenoaks Alliance Church 2575 Gladwin Road Abbotsford, B.C. on June 9, 2008 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held on Thursday June 12th, 2008 at the family cemetery in Granum, Alberta.

Jack Oscar Hultin - passed away June 3, 2008 at 92 years of age. Predeceased by his loving wife of 62 years, Lucie (nee Tiberghien) in 2004.
Remembered by his twin sons Ivan (Anne) and Ed (Irene), grandchildren and 3 great-granddaughters who made his eyes light up every time he saw them. Graveside service at 1:00 p.m. June 11, 2008 at Musselwhite Cemetery. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Ebenezer Home who took such good care of Dad for the last 2 years. Also special mention to the caring staff on 3West at MSA hospital where Dad finished the last days of his long, amazing life.
