Thomas Eugene Tucker, late of Abbotsford, B.C., passed away on March 10, 2008 at the age of 83.
He is survived by Frieda, his loving wife of 58 years; sons Tom (Elizabeth) and Brian (Pam); grandchildren: Tommy (Kim), Jesse, Shannon, Emily, Reid, Jeffrey and Alison; and sister Joyce McMillan.
A private family service was held.

Lawrence passed away peacefully in Mission Memorial Hospital at the age of 87, after a valiant fight with cancer.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 61 years Mary, his daughter Fran (Mike) Harty, son George (Cheryl) Holland, sister Clara Mott, brother Leonard (Ruth) Holland, granddaughters Michelle (Nolan) Riley, Athena (Ron) Paling, Sheri (Curtis) George, grandsons Matt (Diana) Harty, Rod (Erin) Aubichon, 11 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Lawrence was born the 11th in a family of 13 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He lived in Crystal Springs until 1939 and at the age of 18 moved to British Columbia. He tried his hand at several jobs and even purchased a trapline in the Cariboo in the 1940's. He moved to the Lower Mainland in 1941 and was conscripted into the Army in 1943 where he was assigned to the 21st Artillery Infantry and later served overseas as a member of the Sea Forth Highlanders. After the War Lawrence married his childhood sweetheart, Mary Loveridge, and settled in Pitt Meadows, B.C. His love of the North Country with its hunting and fishing drew them to Quesnel, B.C., where he operated a small sawmill for a few years, before returning to the Lower Mainland, working in Burnaby and residing in Maple Ridge for 47 years, then retiring in Mission for 17 years.
He traveled extensively throughout North America. He was a proud veteran and long-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion. His love of gardening and belief in the spirit of nature are a great inspiration to his family. His enjoyment of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren leave a legacy of memories.
Lawrence was pre-deceased by his father Hans Andrew, and mother Carrie; brothers Carl, Hjalmer, Alfred, Henry, Julius, and Louis; and sisters Betsy, Emma, Mary and Elvene.
Lawrence was greatly loved and will be sorely missed - the true measure of a life well lived. A service will be held at the Hatzic Cemetery, 34867 Cemetery Ave, Mission, B.C. on Thursday, March 20th 2008 at 11:00 a.m.

Heinrich "Henry" Hamm passed away peacefully into the presence of the Lord on Monday, March 10, 2008. Henry was born June 2, 1920 in Russia and emigrated to Canada in 1954 and finally settled in Abbotsford. Henry was pre-deceased by his sister, Annie in 1997 and survived by his sister, Maria in Germany as well as nieces, nephew, and cousins in Abbotsford and Germany.
A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, March 17, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home with burial at Maclure Road Cemetery.

Devoted wife, mother, neighbour and friend. Ada Wichers was born in Holland and emigrated with her family to the Nobleford, Alberta area at the age of six months. She married William (Bill) Stotyn in 1942. They spent 3 years in Kingston, Ontario while Bill served in the army, and then went back to Nobleford. In 1967 they moved to Abbotsford, B.C., where she remained until her passing. She is survived by William, children Sheila, Bonnie and Russell, 5 grandchildren, and numerous friends. We will miss her strength and caring heart. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 23 at 2:00 PM at Living Hope Christian Reformed Church, 34631 Old Clayburn Road, Abbotsford, B.C. Donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada in lieu of flowers.

Constance Pottage of Abbotsford, B.C., passed away peacefully on May 11, 2008 at the Menno Home, Extended Care, (2 West) at the age of 95 years.
In 1922 she arrived in Abbotsford, B.C. with her family, from Vancouver, B.C.
She met and married William Cooper Pottage and they had one son, William John.
Constance was pre-deceased by her husband William in 1950 and by her six brothers and five sisters.
She is survived by her son William (Jr.) and many nieces and nephews.
Bill would like to thank the Home Support and the staff at the Menno Home, Extended Care (2 West) and special thanks to Dr. I. Morrison.
No service by request.

Joanne Theresa Bergen of Abbotsford passed away into the presence of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on May 11, 2008 at the age of 49. Always one to stay in the background in crowds, when in small groups or one-on-one, you would discover her sweet and gentle soul. Joanne related well with children, connecting with their joy and their creative spirit. Joanne leaves behind a family who loves her dearly; her husband Eric of 25 years; children Shaun, Jennifer and Bradley; mom Wilhelmina Pouw; father-in-law Henry Bergen; sisters Cathy (Doug) Pollington, Rita (Myron) Graves, Cindy (Ingi) Bjornson; brothers Dave (Tammy) Pouw, Frank (Carolyn) Pouw; brother-in-law Gary Bergen; sisters-in-law Linda (John) Wiens, Laurie Paul Finch; and numerous aunts, uncles and other relatives.
She was pre-deceased by her father Frank Pouw and her mother-in-law Tina Bergen. A celebration of Joanne's life will be held on Friday, May 16, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Abbotsford Evangelical Free Church, 33218 Marshall Road, with reception to follow. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Sidney Taylor. He was born in Mission on August 25, 1941 and passed away at the Christine Morrison Hospice on May 10, 2008.
He was pre-deceased by his parents, Frank and Jessie, his eldest brother Richard and his sister Helen Kokoska, his twin brother Jim and his auntie Helen Shea.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Lynne, his daughter Faye (Steve Howell) and son Brent (Nicola), granddaughters Kathryn and Shannon Howell and a baby to come in July. He is also survived by his mother in law Fern Rodger, also his brother in law George Kokoska and many nieces and nephews.
David will be remembered by all who knew him by his unconditional love, outdoor teachings, strength, courage and determination, morals and his huge sense of humour.
The family wish to extend a huge warm thank you to all the staff at the Christine Morrison Hospice. Your love and compassion were over the top!
