Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what’s to be,
A resting place along the road,
To sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We are meant to learn some things,
But never meant to stay…
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know,
For some the
journey’s quicker,
For some the journey’s slow.
But when the journey
finally ends,
We’ll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the Lord.

Mum was a long time resident of Merritt prior to her move to Kamloops in 2004, most recently at the Ponderosa/Overlander Care Facilities. Mum and Dad will forever be held in the hearts of their five children and their spouses, as well as those of their 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Kathleen was a career homemaker, always there with homemade bread and cookies, to go with a hot cuppa tea. She was a clever knitter, and enjoyed a good game of cards or a “knees up”. Many of her hours were spent pushing the hospital goodie wagon or working at the Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Shop.
