"A heart of gold stopped beating,
Hard working hands at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
The leaves and flowers may wither,
The golden sun may set,
But the hearts that loved so dearly
Are the ones who won't forget."

It is two years yesterday
When you were suddenly taken away.
I see you fishin' on the Stamp River
and it makes me shiver.
That's where we shared our first kiss
Which I will always miss.
I know you're waiting for me in another life,
In my mind I will always be your wife.
There will never be another man like you;
Your strength, kindness and love will never be forgotten.

The Fisherman's Prayer
I pray the Lord my soul to keep
While fishing out here in the deep.
And may You grant my fondest wish
And help me land a giant fish.
My friends say I exaggerate
My fishes width and height and weight.
So please forgive me if I brag
About the size of those I snag.
If I should die before I wake,
I pray that Heaven has a lake.
I need no halos, things like that,
If You'll just let me wear my hat. - Larry Howland
Service will be held at Beaver Pt. Hall, Sunday, May 17, 3:00 p.m.

Our Dad, Rick touched many lives in many different ways.
He lived a life of adventure, and always looked for the treasures it holds.
May the memories he made with you all, be held in your hearts, and bring a smile to your face.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Kamloops Hospice.
