It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Weldon, after a 10-year battle with dementia.
He was cared for at home by his devoted wife, Rosemarie, until last week, when the marvelous teams at PADH's Ace and Palliative Care units took over.
Special thanks to Dr. B. Prentice for his 22 yrs of dedication & kindness.

MURRAY, Matthew

MURRAY, Matthew R.G. "Jock", retired Vancouver police officer and original Dog Squad member.
Matthew passed away with his family at his side on September 17, 2009.
Matthew was born in Fife, Scotland, on November 6, 1927.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Sheila; his children, Andrew (Marguerite), Alison (Glenn), Melissa (Stephen); his 6 grandchildren; family in Scotland; his special nephew, Colin; family in England, daughter, 2 grandsons and 2 great-grandchildren.
We wish to thank the very caring staff of Laurel Place Hospice.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2009, at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 - 28th Avenue, Surrey, B.C.

It is with great love and sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Eilyse Mary Morgan, at age 79, on Sept 16, 2009.
She was a loving Mother, Nana, and Great Nana.
Her loving smile and infectious laughter, will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
Service was held on Sat., Sept. 19th, at White Rock Baptist Church.

Cam passed away suddenly, but peacefully, at home, in his sleep, on the 15th of September, 2009.
His 70th birthday was in August, and he celebrated amongst family in a series of wonderful parties.
During his lifetime, Cam enjoyed a successful business career and he generously shared his expertise and many talents, donating time to charity.
With many interests, he was never bored or boring.
Cam was married to Valerie, his first and only love for 47 years and was father to four lucky children, Pamela, Brenda, Bryce and Derek.
He was the world's best grandfather to six even luckier grandchildren, who already miss him.
Cam, above all, loved to laugh and to see others laugh.
So, his family wishes you to remember him with a smile.

Born October 20, 1922 in Leipzig, Germany, passed away September 13, 2009, in New Westminster, B.C., from complications following an auto accident.
Inge was pre-deceased by her love, Frank McCaffrey, in 2003, and leaves to mourn her step-daughter, Gale LePitre (Larry Sinclair), cousins in Germany, and Georgia, and her many great and valued friends and accomplices in the White Rock, Surrey area, Santa Barbara, New Mexico, Arizona, Vancouver Island, the Sunshine Coast and Quebec.
An elegant and independent woman who took delight in butterflies, seashells, flower petals, vibrant colours, music with a beat, tennis, any white wine, good conversation and laughter, she will remain in many happy memories.
There will be no service by request, but please remember Inge in your own special ways.
In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations may be made to her favorite charity, the B.C. Children's Hospital Foundation.

It is with deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Harry Silverstein on Sept. 12th, 2009.
Son of the late David and Molly Silverstein; beloved husband of Donna; dear father of Lorne (Rita), Steve (Julia), Ellen (Gerry), Susan (Chin), Gail (Albert); cherished grandfather of Heather, Jessica, Laura, Ilana, Lilyan, Henry & Leana; loving brother of Gertie Chaimberg and the late Saul and Max Silverstein.
With a devoted community spirit, he touched the lives of many and dedicated, countless years as a volunteer with both the Jewish General Hospital (Montreal) and The Peace Arch Hospital (W. Rock) and signed up hundred of new businesses with The White Rock Chamber of Commerce.
All who knew Harry will lovingly recall his upbeat spirit and his positive attitude and outlook on life. He found endless joy in everyday living and enjoyed endless traveling with Donna, excited at every turn.
A Celebration of his Life will take place in October; date and location will be announced at a later date.

HUTCHINSON, Gladys Henrietta passed away peacefully in White Rock on Sept. 11, 2009, at the age of 90 years.
Predeceased by her husband, Reginald Bruce Hutchinson (1999), her daughter, Donna Rae Wolfe-Milner (2007), four sisters and her brother.
She is survived by her sons, Robert John, Gordon Bruce (Joanne) and Douglas Alexander, son-in-law, Patrick Wolfe-Milner, 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and sisters, Irene and Verna.
There will be a memorial service on Friday, September 18, 2009, at 2:00 p.m., in the Valley View Chapel, 14660-72 Ave. in Surrey, B.C.

Age 72, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2009, at Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, B.C.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 2, 2009, at 1:00pm at Victory Memorial Park in Surrey, B.C.
Heather was born October 19, 1936, in Victoria, B.C. and has lived in White Rock for most of her life.
She is survived by her children, Cori Charette of White Rock, and Sid and Shauna Callies of Edmonton, and her grandchildren, Kiera and Emile Charette, Dalton, Jordyn, Cael and Jaedyn Callies.
She is lovingly remembered by her three brothers, Ken, Robert and Burton, many nieces and nephews, and her partner, Larry Kootnikoff.
Heather was a Registered Nurse for 50 years.
She was loved and respected by all her colleagues and kept very close to her fellow nursing graduates and colleagues from throughout her career.
Heather was a kind and generous mother and a loving grandmother.
She will be missed greatly by her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
