GALLINA, Francesca
April 27, 1948 - July 4, 2009
Francesca (Cesca) Gallina passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 4th, in Richmond General Hospital.
She had a brief, but courageous, encounter with lung cancer.
Cesca was predeceased by her son, Dino, and is survived by her loving family: husband, Peter; son, Paolo; daughter-in-law, Sarah; and grandchildren, Oriana and Adria.
Mom will be remembered for her laughter and loving smile.
She was a mother that gave tirelessly to her children, loved her husband unconditionally, and was a Nana that left a lasting impression with her two granddaughters.
Mom was always surrounded by true friends and close family.
She loved her games, a good cup of tea, and her favourite colour was red.
I'll miss you Ralph - it was a great ride!

Shirley was born November 23, 1947, in Quebec City, to the late Marge and Gordon Lindskog.
Moving from Winnipeg in 1966, Shirley, along with her husband, John, founded Lulu Island Designs on Stevenson Landing.
Shirley's homes were always show places with wonderful colours and beautiful decor.
Her wardrobe was ever-changing and she always had the right thing to wear with the perfect jewellery.
Shirley loved shopping for clothes, jewellery, shoes or food.
There was no such thing as just looking.
It was all an adventure.

Special thanks to the staff of ICU at Peace Arch Hospital.
We could not have asked for more kindness and compassion during Shirl's last few days.
