ENEFER - Celine passed away into the presence of her Lord on September 27, 2000, age 87 years. Predeceased by her sisters, Maude, Minnie and Mabel; brothers Ernie and Edward. Survived by four sisters, Agnes, Grace, Edna and Lillian and several nieces and nephews. SAUNDERS - Ronald Phillip was born June 13, 1925 in Brockville, Ontario and resided in New Westminster, British Columbia from 1952. Ronald passed away September 27, 2000 in New Westminster. He is survived by wife Ruth (Nesbitt), sons Paul (Karen) and Bernie (Sharon), daughters Sheila (Jim) and Rhonda (Danny), and his cherished grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Challenged by asthma, diabetes and cancer, Ronald inspired us with his courage. We will remember his sense of humor and love of life. Ronald served five years in the Royal Canadian Army in Canada and Europe during WWII. He was a life time member of the Royal Canadian Legion #2 in New Westminster, the Masonic Sussex Lodge #5 in Brockville and the Masonic Lodge #174 in New Westminster. A memorial service will be held at Queens Avenue United Church (6th Street and Queens Avenue) in New Westminster on Tuesday October 3, 2000 at 11:00 AM. Donations to charity of choice.

BENTLEY - William E. (Bill) passed away peacefully January 3rd, 2001 at the Kelowna General Hospital after a short illness. Bill leaves wife of 56 years Lucille; sons Ron and Russ (Rita) and daughter Fran; grandchildren Trevor (Leona), Dave, Stephen, Theresa, Jason, Darrell and Stacey. Bill was predeceased by son-in-law John in 1998. Bill was born in Regina in 1920, where he started his career in the oil industry. Retiring in 1985, after a 38 year career, with stops in Kamloops, Montreal, Moose Jaw and finally Vancouver. Bill and Lucille moved to Kelowna. Here Bill enjoyed his many friends and golfing buddies. The family would like to express their many thanks and appreciation to the staff of the ICU, 4A, Doctors Rolf and Stevenson. At the request of the family, there will be no service.
