EINARSON, Stella. It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing, on April 5th, 2004, of our wonderful mother at Richmond Hospital after a brief but valiant fight with cancer. Born in Rivers, Manitoba on January 8th, 1923, she is predeceased by her 13 brothers and sisters as well as her loving husband, Bernie, in 1972. She is survived by her son, Craig Einarson, his wife Lori, and their sons, Cameron and Bradley; her daughter Joan Coles, her husband Bill, and his children, Allison and Allan. Also mourning her loss are her relatives throughout the Prairies, her nieces and nephews in Ontario and Australia, as well as her many dear friends. An Active member of the Air Canada ladies group, avid world traveler and a voracious reader of everything, she was always planning her next trip. We will miss playing sports in her backyard, her Christmas desserts and her Sunday dinners. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of the Richmond Funeral Home, 8420 Cambie Road, Richmond, B.C. on Monday April 12th, 2004 at 1:00pm. As an expression of sympathy, a donation in Stella's memory may be made to the Richmond Public Library, Attn. Administration Office, 100-7700 Minoru Gate, Richmond, B.C. V6Y 1R9.

FARLEY, Joyce Marie Barbara 23 December 1948 - 28 March 2004 After a courageous battle with cancer, fought with quiet dignity and incredible determination, we are sad to announce that Joyce passed away on Sunday, 28th of March. Joyce was in the constant and loving care of her son Ryan, her family, friends and co-workers during her last days. She was never alone and was soothed by gentle music and the caring touch of family, friends and teddy bears until the end. Very special thanks to the nursing staff at Richmond Hospital Palliative Ward for their kindness to Joyce and patience with the flood of family and friends keeping Joyce company in her final hours. Surviving Joyce are her only son, Ryan and his girlfriend Anna, brother Ron of Montreal, sisters Jean and Bev of Calgary, nephew Bruce of Victoria and Dean of Ontario, niece Karen of Montreal, and much-loved cousin France of Montreal. Joyce will also be missed by many more extended family, friends, and co-workers, plus the numerous international students that she and Ryan welcomed into their home over the years.
