BEGUIN, In loving memory of George Fred Beguin, born June 10, 1920 in Kaslo, B.C., called to be with the Lord August 5, 2004. Long time resident of Richmond. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Joyce; 1 brother; 5 children; 12 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. He will be remembered as a loving father, caring teacher and honest friend who will be truly missed. BRADBURY, William (Ted) passed away peacefully on Friday August 6, 2004, at the age of 92 years. He is survived by his loving children: Marlene (Dirk Engelhardt), Edward (Roberta), Robert (Elizabeth) and Bryan; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; two brothers, George and Elwood; sister Glennie, also numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by siblings Donald and Myrtle. An interment will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2004 at 10:30am at Mountain View Cemetery, Vancouver. BUXTON, Jean Louise (King) Jean was born November 10, 1925 in Westlock Alberta and passed away August 6, 2004 at Langley Memorial Hospital. Predeceased by her loving husband, Bill on February 12, 1974; her parents Roy and Jessie King and her only sister, Elanor Sturmey. Survived by sons, Bill (Cheryl) of Prince George B. C, Bob (Darlene) of Campbell River, and Ron of Langley; four grandchildren, Brianne and Krystle (Bill), Richie and Alita (Bob); five great-grandchildren, Amber, Angela, Kolby, Austin, and Alexis. Jean moved with her parents from near Rochester, Alberta to the Coughlan District in 1935 (Site of the present Coghlan School). The family then moved to the Otter area and lived on forty acres behind the Otter School. Jean attended Otter School, Murrayville School, and then Langley High School, which was located on Fraser Highway and #10 Highway. Jean and husband Bill moved back to Langley in 1954. Jean retired from the Aldergrove Post Office on September 1, 1974 after twenty years service. Jean moved from the family home in Aldergrove to Deer Creek Estates in 1984. Jean was active in the Ladies Auxiliary to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 265 in Aldergrove. Over the last twelve plus years, she volunteered at the Langley Senior Resources Centre. A memorial Service will be held at Henderson's Funeral Home in Langley on Thursday August 12, 2004 at 11:00 a. m. This will be followed by a tea at the Langley Senior Recreation and Resource Centre, which is located at 20605 51B Avenue in Langley. Special thanks to Dr Waiz, Dr Dillion, Dr Chandler, the BC Ambulance Service and the staff at Langley Memorial Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to the B. C. BERGERON, Adeline passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2004 with family at her side. After living in Vancouver from 1957 - 1995 she returned to Thunder Bay, Ontario. Adeline is survived by her husband Fern and her daughter Michelle (Dr. James Mok), in addition to her extensive family in Thunder Bay. Adeline is remembered for her ready laugh, quick wit and her love of Bingo. She will be cremated and laid to rest in Thunder Bay. A private memorial will be held by her family in Vancouver. A special thank you to Aunt Rose for her loving care during Mom's illness. A donation to a charity of your choosing in her name would be appreciated.

BLAIR, Leslie Lynn October 26, 1956- October 6, 2004. Leslie Lynn Blair passed away October 6, 2004 in the Shuswap General Hospital. Leslie will be sorrowfully missed by her loving husband Jack Blair; two sons Scott and Adam (his wife Jennifer); her two baby dogs Molly and Abby; her mother Vera; sister Debbie (her husband Bill), and her brother Ross (his wife Cathy). At Leslie's request, no service will be held, but rather a celebration of her life will be done in the spring. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Cancer Society or the S.P.C.A. You will always be remembered through laughter, love, and the strength you showed throughout your life. Thank you for the time you so preciously spent with us. Your life will always be cherished by those who were so blessed to know you and love you.

BOURNE, Reginald Charles. Born October 29th, 1921. Passed away peacefully on October 3rd, 2004. Reggie was predeceased by his loving wife Katherine (Betty) and is survived by his five children, Ron (Gail), Garry (Steph), Vicki, Rusty (Susan) and Susie (Randy); ten grandchildren, seven great-grandsons and his brother Alf. "Grumpa" will be greatly missed by his family. Special thanks to the staff at both, the Finnish Manor and St. Michael's Center, as well as, Dr. Goldberger for his many years of care. A memorial service will be held on Friday October 15th at 2:00 p.m., Collingwood Baptist Church, 4847 Joyce St. Vancouver. BROWN, Harry Orison. Passed away October 5th, 2004 at the age of 76 at Ridge Meadows Hospital, Maple Ridge after a 2 month struggle to survive a major operation. Retired Fire Chief of Burnaby, he is survived by his wife of 55 years, June; 4 children Rick, New Westminster, Randy (Susan) Princeton, Rob, Maple Ridge, Cindy (Rod) Summerland; 10 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. CALLISON, Marjorie Rosalie (Clay) passed away at the Langley Memorial Hospital on October 6, 2004 at the age of 80 years. Survived by her husband of 60 years, Dennis; their children Gloria (Rodger) and Janice (Jim); her grandchildren Kendal, Carmen, Sheena, Darren and Kirby; great-grandchildren Dawson, Taryn, Emily and Cole; sisters Jean (Roy) and Gladys (Leonard); and brother Kenneth and many nieces and nephews. Marjorie was born in Edmonton Alberta on October 22, 1923. After graduating from school she went to work for the Northern Alberta Railway in Dawson Creek. During her tenure with the NAR Marjorie resided at the boarding house of Mrs. Callison, fate would have that Mrs. Callison's son Dennis was Marjorie's true love. In 1944 Marjorie and Dennis were married and began what would be 60 exciting and extra ordinary years together. From operating Rolla Hotel to creating and running the Toad River Lodge at Mile 422 on the Alaska Highway and to owning and operating Callison Outfitting from Whitehorse, Yukon. Marjorie and Dennis were a tireless team. When it was time for retirement in 1980 Marjorie and Dennis moved to a small farm in the Salmon Arm area. After 10 years at the acreage it was time to move to a home with only a small yard to care for, also in Salmon Arm. Finally in 2000 Marjorie and Dennis located to Walnut Grove to be closer to family. Marjorie is remembered by all for her tireless work ethic, were unwavering devotion to her "boyfriend" Dennis, her awesome cooking and her spirit of willingness to give almost anything a try. She loved music including playing the piano and the accordion, playing crib, knitting and needlework. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.

CATTERMOLE, Robert James passed away Saturday, September 25, 2004 at age 80. Predeceased by his daughter Cindy. Bob is survived by his former wife Leona, daughter Lisa and two grandchildren, Brandon and Tenielle. A service will be held at First Memorial, 602 Kingsway, Vancouver on October 19th at 1:00 pm, followed by a celebration of life at the Plaza 500 Hotel, 500 West 12th Avenue at 2:30 pm. CULLUM, Olive (nee Almond) Born May 10, 1915 in Burnaby, B.C. Passed away peacefully at Burnaby General Hospital on October 5, 2004. Predeceased by her husband Steve (1989) and her son Andrew (1976). DENSKY, RUDOLF (RUDY) Age 76. Passed away peacefully at his home in North Vancouver on October 6, 2004. BYERS, Trent Michael, late of Abbotsford, passed away with his family by his side on June 15, 2002, after a courageous, lengthy battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his father, Richard.
