DONALD ANDRUSIAK
Sadly, on March 15, 2013 Donald Andrusiak passed away after a lengthy illness. Donald was born on September 4, 1960 and spent his whole life in Sundown.
Donald is survived by his devoted wife Serena, his son Miles, sister Virginia Holden (Jim) and brother Julian (Joy) as well as many other family members. Don was predeceased by his parents Irene and John and sister Darlene in infancy.
A Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sundown Hall. Interment followed at Menisino Cemetery.

PETER HIEBERT
Peter Hiebert, age 76 of Steinbach, Manitoba, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 15, 2013 following a short battle with a brain stem hemorrhage.
Besides his loving wife Mabel, he leaves to cherish his memory; daughter Faye (Kurtis) Sawatzky, son Dorian Hiebert and daughter Tricia Hiebert; grandchildren Rachel (husband Dustin Smith), Shaun (wife Christy Sawatzky), Katelyn Sawatzky and Madison Hiebert; great-grandchildren Rylan and Andrew Smith; one sister, Helen and Ben Reimer, four brothers, Jack (Martha) Hiebert, Henry (Lorraine) Hiebert, Ed (Betty) Hiebert, Bert (Marion) Hiebert, sister-in-law Lillian Hiebert and many nieces and nephews.
Peter was predeceased by his first wife Marlene Kroeker in 1961, son Clyde Jerome in 1971, parents John P. (Katherine) Hiebert, sisters Tina and Mary (husband Ed Dueck), brothers John, Abe and George.
In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate your donations to assist Mabel in significant out of country medical expenses that were incurred while Peter was hospitalized in Cancun, Mexico. The family of Peter Hiebert wishes to thank the staff at Bethesda Hospital for their gracious and loving care of Peter.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church, 360 McKenzie Ave, Steinbach with Pastors Dave Dickey and Jim Scobbie officiating. Viewing will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Birchwood Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow the funeral at the Heritage Cemetery.

HELEN FUNK
Helen Funk of Steinbach passed away peacefully at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Steinbach on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the age of 82 years.
She leaves to cherish her memory four children, Irwin, Erna (Keith) Taylor, Danny (Bridget), Rose (Ivan) Sobering and their families as well as two brothers, two sisters, four sisters-in-law and their families.
She was predeceased by her husband George in 2009, one great-granddaughter in infancy, her parents, five brothers and two sisters.
The funeral service for Helen Funk will be held Friday, March 22 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach with burial at Randolph Cemetery.

MARIA (Mary) BEREZIUK (Naturkach)
Peacefully Mom (Baba) passed away at the age of 92 on March 16, 2013. Her strong faith in God and being surrounded by her loved was a blessing in her passing. Mom was an amazing role-model, always putting the needs of others before her own.
Mother was predeceased by her siblings Annie, Jack, Wilma, Nettie, Mike, Nick and Billie, daughter Patricia (1985) and husband Joseph (1979). She will be lovingly remembered by her children Sonia(Ed) Metzlaff, Son-in-law Kent Bilton, Joyce (John) Persowich, Joanne (Johann) Sigurdson, Amelia Cooper (Mark Bestland), as well as her grandchildren Shannon(Rudi) Dewey, Monika Metzlaff (Les Hodi), Roxanne Persowich, Maria Metzlaff(Karl Schifke), Natasha Bilton(Chris Park), Robyn Cooper, Johann(JJ) Sigurdson and sister Dorothy Davidiuk.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 o'clock on March 21, 2013 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 35 Marcia St. (off Gilmore) Winnipeg, with the Very Reverend Father Mark Gnutel officiating. Pallbearers will be Ed Metzlaff, John Persowich, Johann Sigurdson, Johann Joseph (JJ) Sigurdson, Mark Bestland, and Rudi Dewey. Honorary pallbearers are Myron Naturkach, Les Hodi, Karl Schifke, and Kent Bilton.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. Anne's Catholic Church which Mom supported until her passing.

Steve passed away at his residence in Pansy, MB on Monday, March 18, 2013 at the age of 88 years.
He is survived by two brothers and three sisters-in-law and their families. He was predeceased by five brothers and three sisters.
The funeral service will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach on Thursday, March 21 at 10:00 a.m. with viewing prior to the service. Burial to follow at the St. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery at Pansy.

Helen Unger, 96, of Grunthal, MB passed away peacefully on Monday, March 18, 2013 at the Menno Home in Grunthal.
She is survived by her daughter Mary (Alvin) Kroeker and son Richard (Dianne) Unger and their families, as well as by one brother and two sisters. She was predeceased by her husband Henry H. Unger in 1990.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 23 at 2:00 p.m. at the Elim Church in Grunthal with viewing prior to the service. Interment to follow at the Grunthal Cemetery.

CINDY LESSARD (nee Lapusniak)
Cindy Lessard, beloved wife of Jean Lessard, passed away Tuesday March 19, 2013 in Carberry, at the young age of 48, following a brief battle with lung cancer.
Along with Jean and her parents, Cindy will be sadly missed by her brother Ken (Stephanie and son Caleb), sister Gloria Bonne, niece Amanda Bonne (Josh), great niece Ava, nephew Gage Bonne (Alyse) and Jean’s children Jenna (and daughter Jordanna), Brittney (Sean) and Taylor Lessard. Cindy is predeceased by Jenna’s husband, Dale Jerome. Jean’s brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews also deeply mourn her loss.
A memorial service for Cindy will take place at the Seine River Banquet Centre in St. Anne, Manitoba on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 11:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, you are invited to make a donation to The United Way – Cindy’s favorite charity to which she contributed and helped with campaigns, both at home and at work over a number of years.

It's with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Marko Koshelanyk on the afternoon of March 21st, just one day short of his 96th birthday.
Marko is survived by his children Jim(Lee), Tom(Marg), Christine, and Marianne(Roger) eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, two brothers Pete(Helen) and John, and two sisters Marie(Kasmir) and Stella.
A funeral service will be held for Marko on Thursday, March 28, 2013, at the chapel of the Vita Funeral Home.
He was laid to rest with his wife and sons at the Caliento National Cemetery.
DANIEL BRADLEY
Daniel Bradley of Middlebro, MB passed away peacefully at the Vita Personal Care Home on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at the age of 82 years.
He is survived by his children Alan (Donna) of Steinbach, Nellie of Piney, Linda (Lisa) of Piney, David (Donna) of Steinbach and their families. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Ann Chang in 1970, one son Charlie in 2007 and one great grandson Jared Spaur in 2011.
At the family’s request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 28 at 2:00 p.m. at the Middlebro Hall with ash interment at the Middlebro Cemetery.

Dmytro (Matt) Petrash, 88, peacefully passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at the Whispering Pines Personal Care Home in Vita, Manitoba.
Dad was preceded in death by his first wife Sonia (Dawydiuk), his parents, his sister Mary Maskaliuk, his brothers, Ivan, William, Steve, John, Orest and his grandson Ryan Weevers.
Dad is survived by his second wife Lena Bachewich and her family, his children Nelson (Dianna-Lynn), Tanya (Derek) Edgar, Deborah (Bert) Palishuk, Peter (Florence), Randy, Margie (Mike) Weevers and Charlene, 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, his brother Walter, his sister Olga along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A service will be held at Ascension Of Our Lord Catholic Church, Sundown, MB on Saturday, March 30 at 10:30 a.m. with viewing at the church prior to the service starting at 10:00 a.m. A private family interment is to follow at a later date.

On Saturday, March 30, 2013, Ken passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the age of 69. Ken will be lovingly remember by his daughter Pearl (Russ); his son Dwayne (partner Ruth) of Winnipeg; his grandchildren: Amber Wiebe, Megan and Steve Prokay, Chelsea Wiebe, Corey Paetkau and girlfriend Jessica and Madyson; his father Jacob (Rose) Wiebe; one sister and two brothers and their families. He was predeceased by his mom Sadie Wiebe.

Peacefully on April 2, 2013 Ida passed away at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 75.
Ida is lovingly remembered by her husband Michael; her children Glen and Lesley Lischynski, Debbie and Dan Erickson; her grandchildren: Brandon, Tyler, Cody, Erica, Chyann and Dustin. Ida is also survived by two sisters and one brother.
