KAITLYN MEADE
September 05, 2004
KAITLYN CAPRICE MEADE Kaitlyn Caprice Meade, aged three months, passed away peacefully in her Daddy's arms on Wednesday, September 1, 2004. Our sweet baby girl leaves behind her Mommy and Daddy, Sharon & Ryan Meade; big sister Jayme; big brother Carter; Grandma & Papa Paul; Amma & Grandpa Meade; Uncle Norm (Darcy) and kids; Uncle Marc; Aunty Elisa; Aunty Cheryl (Brent) and kids; and special friends Veronica and Ron Thiffeault and kids. Kaitlyn was born on May 22, 2004 at HSC Winnipeg, and she immediately began her fight for life. Kaity gave us the gift of loving her on Earth for three hard months; we will continue loving her in Heaven for ever. When God Calls Little Children... When God calls little children to dwell with Him above, we mortals sometime question the wisdom of His love For no heartache compares with the death of one small child who does so much to make our world, seem wonderful and mild Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to His fold, So He picks a rosebud, before she can grow old. God knows how much we need them, and so He takes but a few to make the land of Heaven more beautiful to view. Believing this is difficult, still Somehow we must try The saddest word mankind knows Will always be "good-bye" So when a little child departs we who are left behind must realize God loves children, Angels are hard to find. - Unknown Special thanks go to all of the staff in the PICU at Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton, especially to Terry who convinced us we saw sweet Kaity smile; to the staff in the NICU at Children's Hospital in Winnipeg for giving her a chance; and to everyone at the Variety Children's Heart Centre in Winnipeg for all of their support. Memorial donations may be made to the Variety Club of Manitoba. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 8 at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church., 748 Keewatin St., Winnipeg, MB. Interment Assumption Cemetery.
