ROBERT KENNETH FAGNAN Peacefully, on Sunday, August 29, 2004, Robert Fagnan passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 55 years. Robert's passion for life was driven by the love for his family, his wife Marlene; and his children, George, Kenneth and Penny; as well as his grandchildren. He was a warm, loving and caring man who embraced life and encouraged others to pursue happiness. Robert will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral service will be held at the Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St., on Thursday, September 2 at 11:00 a.m. The service will terminate at the church. Private interment of Robert's cremated remains will take place in Yorkton, SK, at a later date. Donations may be made in Robert's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3G 9Z9. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements, 775-2220.

KEITH LEONARD GRAY Peacefully on August 29, 2004, at the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital, Keith Leonard Gray, aged 72 years, of Eriksdale, MB. Keith was born on August 7, 1932, in Plumas, MB. He worked as a farmhand all of his adult life, and for the past 50 years worked for the Murray family. He was considered one of the members of the Murray family. His greatest passion was breaking land and running John Deere equipment. A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 2 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eriksdale Cemetery with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Pallbearers will be Alex Flinta, Rick Willetts, Arnie Lindell, Randy Mason, Jay Forsyth and Ned Murphy. The Murray family would like to say special thanks to Dr. Steyn and Dr. Burnett and all the nurses for providing excellent care during Keith's illness. GEORGINA HAPIUK Georgina Hapiuk (to be with Nick) passed away on Monday, August 30, 2004, at Surrey, B.C., at age 82 years. Georgina was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on March 22, 1922. Georgina was predeceased by her daughter Beth Camire, and her husband Nick in June 2004. She is survived by her son Irwin (Kate), their three children Michael, Samantha, and Anna all in Australia, and by Beth's children, Angela, Jason and Crystal. May she reunite in peace. Memorial Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 1 at 11:00 a.m. from the Arbor Chapel at Valley View, 14660 72nd Avenue, Surrey, B.C. Cremation. Donations to Surrey Memorial Hospital, Charles Barhan Pavilion in Lieu of flowers. Grandma, to much distance, to little time, we will miss you so very much, you will always be in our hearts. GUENTER HOPPENHEIT 1923 - 2004 With great sadness, the family of Guenter Hoppenheit announces his peaceful passing on August 28, 2004 at the Concordia Hospital. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Maria, with whom he shared 59 wonderful years; sons, Roland and Gerhard and daughters-in-law Helen and Sharon; granddaughters, Lisa (Gerry) and Lori. He will also be lovingly remembered by family in Canada, Germany and Austria, as well as by many friends and acquaintances. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. #1 E. and Navin Rd., on Thursday, September 2 at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Bill Lehman will officiate. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery. STELLA JOBA (LADOSKI) On August 25, 2004, Stella passed away peacefully at the age of 91 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Tony in 1989; her brothers, Walter (Jean) and James (Olive); sister Emily (Gus) Romaniuk and nephews, Walter and Harry. Stella leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Lorraine (Terry) Hercus; granddaughter Aileen (Ralph) George; dear great-grandchildren, Lianne, Vanessa and Michael; granddaughter Tammy (John) O'Neill; niece Eleanor Kullberg; nephews, Jim and Lawrence Romaniuk, Jim Ladoski and their families. The Joba families, many nieces and nephews including Nellie, Helen, Irene, John, Adam and their families. Born to Stephan and Rosalia Ladoski January 23, 1913 in Ledwyn, MB, Stella attended school there and at Holy Ghost School in Winnipeg. In 1932 she and Tony were married. They settled in Bissett, MB, where they enjoyed their early life together. In 1956 they again pioneered in Elliot Lake, ON, retiring to live in Winnipeg in 1973 to be near their family. Stella was exceptionally kind hearted and generous. She was renowned for her cooking, famous for her Christmas puddings and warm hospitality. She and Tony enjoyed playing bingo, dancing and attending auction sales. Stella had a talent for crocheting and quilting, embroidery and needlework and had a magic way with african violets and giant ferns. She had a wide circle of friends with whom she corresponded faithfully as long as she was able. The family would like to thank the special people who lovingly cared for her in her eight and one half years at Middlechurch Home.
