ALEXANDER PAVEY YULE Alexander Yule passed away at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, MB on August 25, 2004 after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband, best friend and companion of Claudia F. Wright of Winnipeg; greatly loved father of James A. Yule of Campbellford, ON, P. Ann Leaf (Richard) of Berkeley, CA, Norah E. MacGregor (Ron) of Toronto, John G. Wright of Fresno, CA, Maria F. Wright of Winnipeg; grandfather of Joseph A. Yule (Ciara) of Toronto; and great-grandfather of Conor A. Quiggley-Yule of Toronto; best friend and greatly loved brother of Robert E. (Meryl) of Burlington and Donald C. (Elizabeth) of Owen Sound. Predeceased by his parents, Alexander Yule and Edith M. Chamberlin of Ingersol; his first wife Eleanor K. (nee Cole) of Kingston; and his brother Howard M. (Hester) of Gananoque. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services to celebrate Alex's life will be held on Monday, August 30 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg. Alexander will be laid to rest with his first wife Eleanor in Kingston, ON. Flowers gratefully declined. PEARL BOYCHUK It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Pearl Boychuk (nee Sasnella), at the age of 80 years, on Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre after a brief illness. Pearl was born in Gypsumville on April 17, 1924 where she resided until she met her future husband, John. They met in St. Martin where he had a teaching position. Pearl and John were married on July 4, 1943 in Winnipeg. They spent their years together in St. Martin, Vita, Sandy Lake, Winnipeg and Brandon. Pearl enjoyed bingo, cooking, gardening, knitting, playing cards and dancing. She spent many years catering at the Ukrainian National Home. She also enjoyed going for coffee with the coffee gang in Brandon and Sandy Lake. However, her family was always her first priority. She gave her love unconditionally to all of them. She will be lovingly and sadly missed by her husband of 61 years, John; daughter, Gerri (Paul); sons, Eugene (Daniel), Brian (Leslie); grandchildren, Andrea and Jesse, whom she adored and saw as the future. Pearl also leaves, to mourn her passing her sister, Mary Turman and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Annie and Lil; and brother, Michael. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Brandon Regional Health Centre for the care they provided. The funeral service will be held at Memories Chapel, 330 18th St. North, on Saturday, August 28 at 1:00 p.m. Flowers are gratefully declined. Benjamin is predeceased by his mother and father Mary and Jack deLaronde; wife Dorthy deLaronde; sisters, Jeanette and Birdie; brother John and daughter Evelyn. He is survived by his children, Benjamin, James, Nelson, Wanda (Tom) Manley, and Michelle (Robert) Gallibois; and his beloved grandchildren, Ashley, Edmond, Kennedy Gallibois, Kendar, Alexandra and Thomas Manley. A memorial reception in Ben's honor will be held for all of those who knew him and loved him, on Thursday, August 26, 2004 at the Weston Legion, 1613 Logan Avenue.

KAREN BONNIE MARIE DOE (nee JOYAL) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Karen Doe on August 21, 2004. In addition to her loving husband Jeff; she leaves to mourn, her parents, Jan (Hank), Paul (Doreen); sister Audrey (David); nephew and niece, Joshua and Kylie; stepsister Paula (Terry); nephew Kyle; Jeff's parents, Joyce (Keith); stepmom Elvira; brother Rick (Barb); niece Amy; brother Jim (Nancy); nephews, Jeremy and Jordan; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Karen was born in Winnipeg on June 27, 1973 and for the past several years, worked for Credit Union Central of Manitoba where she met her husband Jeff. Karen enjoyed writing poetry, scrapbooking and reading. She has a love for animals and "Chico" and "Bailey" will miss her. Karen also loved gardening in her backyard. Karen wished to be cremated and will be interred in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens on Saturday, August 28 at 11:30 a.m. In memory of Karen, donations may be made to the Mental Health Association, 4-1000 Notre Dame Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0N3.
