Louis LeBlanc

Moncton – Louis LeBlanc, 80, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Friday, April 16, 2010.
Born in Amherst, NS on March 14, 1930, he was the son of the late Edgar and Céleste (Williams) LeBlanc.
Louis moved from Amherst NS to Shediac Bridge and he joined The Royal Canadian Navy in 1948, served in the Naval Air Branch and retired in 1978. He built his home in Shediac River and enjoyed his summers at his cottage with his family.
Louis will sadly be missed by his wife, Agnes; three sons, Michael, Lawrence (Diane) and David, all of Ottawa; four brothers, Eddie, Lawrence (Vicky) both of Shediac, Camille (Mary) and Clément both of Dieppe; two sisters, Corinne Kay of Summerside, PEI and Mildred Maillet (Aubrey) of Ste-Marie-de-Kent; and five grandchildren.
He was predeceased by one brother, Donald and one sister, Mildred.
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Sunday, April 18th from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be celebrated at St.Michael RC Church in Moncton (off Elmwood Dr) on Monday, April 19th at 11am. No viewing on Monday morning.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Norman Vautour

Moncton - Norman Joseph Anthony Vautour, 79, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, April 22nd.
Norman was born in Saint John, NB on April 1st, 1931.
He was educated at the Saint Joseph College in Memramcook where he discovered his love of music. Following College, he joined the Franciscan Monastery in Lennoxville, Quebec; after which he taught English and French for 36 years at the Université de Moncton. He sang with numerous choirs throughout his life. He considered St. Bernard's his second family.
Norman will be fondly remembered for his love of life and the enthusiasm with which he embraced everyone.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Doreen (Valsaycer); a daughter, Nicole of Cambridge ON and a son, Peter (Kathy) of Dartmouth NS; granddaughters Shyanne and Chloe; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Emile Ross (Rita) and sister, Therese Mazerolle (Donat).
Visitation will be held at Passage, 625 Mountain Road, Moncton on Sunday, April 25th from 2 to 4 pm. Funeral Mass will take place at 11 am on Monday, April 26th at the St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church with Father Carroll officiating. No visitation on Monday morning.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, House of Nazareth or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Alma Marie Melanson

Moncton, NB – Alma Melanson, 100, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, April 29.
Born in Moncton on January 30, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Hector and Adèle (Collette) LeBlanc.
Alma is survived by four sons, Yvon of Shediac, Alban (Jeanita) of Brampton, ON, Ronald (Dorine) of Dieppe, Paul (Sue) of Woodstock; five daughters, Thérèse Godreau (Alyre) of Shediac, Claudette smith and Annette Donelle (Paul) both of Moncton, Yvonne Kelly (James) of Pointe-du-Chêne, Bernadette Campbell (John) of Fall River, NS; also several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Elzéar (1977); and three sons, Ulysse, Réginald and Léo.
Visitation will be held at Passage in Moncton (625 Mountain Rd) on Sunday, May 2nd, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Cathédrale N-D L’Assomption on Monday, May 3rd at 10:30 am. No visitation on Monday morning.

Leonard (Lenny) Pellerin

Moncton – Leonard Pellerin, 61, passed away suddenly at his residence on Monday, November 1, 2010.
Born in Moncton on February 22, 1949, he was the son of the late Henri and Rose-Anne (DesRoches) Pellerin.
Lenny will sadly be missed by his daughter, Nadine Pellerin of Montreal, QC; his son Jason LeBlanc of Moncton; two brothers, Jean-Guy and Ronald (Mary) both of Moncton; one sister, Carole Boudreau (Philippe) of Bouctouche.
He was predeceased by one sister-in-law, Adrienne.
As requested by the family, there will be no visitations and no service.

Bernard Melanson

Moncton – Bernard Melanson, 66, passed away after a lengthy illness at the Moncton City Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, January 2nd, 2011.
Born in Moncton on September 6th, 1944, he was the son of the late Aubrey Melanson.
Bernard will sadly be missed by his wife, Claudette Melanson (Babineau); his mother, Adéline Melanson (Caissie) of Dieppe; his son, Marcel Melanson (Carole) of Scoudouc; his daughter, Carole Cormier (Steven) of Shediac; two grandchildren, Xavier Cormier and Michelle Melanson; also several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one infant sister, Claudette and one infant brother Robert.
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Tuesday, January 4th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday, January 5th from 8:30 till time of funeral. Funeral service will be celebrated at Passage Funeral Chapel in Shediac Bridge on Wednesday, January 5th at 10 am.
Donations to the Moncton City Hospital Palliative Care, Lung Association, Canadian Cancer Society or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Moncton – Béatrice Léger, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital on Tuesday, March 1st, 2011 after a brief illness.
Born in Lynn, Mass. USA on March 6, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elisa Bourque.
Béatrice will be sadly missed by her husband, Lionel; her four sons, Réginald (Cécile) of Moncton, Eugène “Doone” (Raymonde) of St-Antoine, Vincent (Denise) of San Diego, Arthur (Rachel) of Moncton; two daughters, Rose Gautreau (Jimmy) of Dieppe, Louise Cormier (Mike) of Moncton; her two sisters, Frances Cormier (Fred) of Mississauga, ON and Léona LeBlanc (Emerie) of Toronto, ON; twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two step grandchildren; one step great grandchild; also several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by a son, Tommy (1968); one daughter-in-law, Patsy (1993); one brother, Pierre; and two sisters, Marie and Louise.
Visitation will be held at Passage, 625 Mountain Rd. in Moncton on Thursday, March 3rd from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and at the Saint-Paul RC Church slumber room on Friday, March 4th from 2 to 4 pm and 6 pm until time of funeral. Funeral service will be held at the Saint-Paul-de-Kent RC Church in Saint-Paul on Friday, March 4th at 7 pm.

Gordon Randolph Cameron

Moncton - Gordon Cameron, 64, passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, March 8, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Mill Creek, NB on November 16, 1946, he was the son of the late Colin and Sarah (Hicks) Cameron.
Gordon will sadly be missed by his daughter, April Cameron (Jim Napoli) of Canmore, AB; his sisters, Marjorie Jordan (late Jim), Myrtle Rogers (Aubrey) both of Moncton, Phyllis McCarron (Ian) of Stratford, PE, Hazel Cameron of Scoudouc, Doris Cameron (Clarence) of Campbellton, Janice West (Gord) of Beaverbank, NS; also many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth and one infant sister, Bessie Caroline.
Visitations will be held at Passage, 625 Mountain Rd, Moncton on Monday, March 14th, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Passage Chapel in Moncton, officiated by Reverend Kevin Rogers, on Tuesday, March 15th, at 2 pm.

Moncton – Aline LeBlanc, 49, suddenly passed away at her residence on Sunday, April 3rd, 2011.
Born in Moncton on June 17, 1961, she was the daughter of Albénie and Rita (Gallant) Caissie.
Aline will be sadly missed by her daughter, Marcia LeBlanc (Jason) of Moncton; her mother and father, Rita and Albénie from St-Phillippe; her brother, Raymond Caissie of St-Phillippe; her two sisters, Ginette Caissie of St-Phillippe, Rose-Marie Richard (Brian) of Shediac Cape; her granddaughter, Jasmine; also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one brother, Albénie Junior and one sister, Diane.
Funeral service will be held at the Passage Funeral Chapel in Shediac Bridge on Thursday, April 7 at 11 am. A gathering will follow at the Club d’Âge d’Or in St-Phillippe.
