Shediac – Edgar LeBlanc, 89, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont-Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011 after a lengthy illness.
Born in Notre-Dame-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Jacques and Marie (Bastarache) LeBlanc.
Edgar will be sadly missed by his wife, Elise; his four daughters, Raymonde LeBlanc (Laurent Garneau) of Shediac Bridge, Murielle LeBlanc (late Ole Madsen) of Sudbury, ON, Lilianne Doucet (Raymond) and Nicole LeBlanc-Lizotte (Gilles) both of Moncton; his sister, Anita Williams (Laurie) of McDougall; his two brothers, Edmond LeBlanc (Marie) and Paul LeBlanc (Irène) both of Notre-Dame; his four grandchildren, Serge, Marie-Josée, Pascale, Simon; his two great grandchildren, Raphaël and Mélodie; also several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sons, Gilles and Raymond; and five brothers, Alyre, Léo, Léandre, Willie and Néri.
Visitations will be held at the Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Slumber room in Notre-Dame on Friday, March 4th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be celebrated at the Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur RC Church in Notre-Dame on Saturday, March 5th at 10:30 am. No visitation on Saturday.
Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Alzheimer Society or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Roy Brine

Shediac – Roy Brine, 85, originally of Cap-Pelé, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, March 17, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Shemogue on October 2, 1925, he was the son of the late Hazen and Cora (LeBlanc) Brine.
Roy was a member of the Knights of Columbus - 4th degree.
Roy will be sadly missed by his wife, Elise; his two sons, George (Lucie), Ronald (Niki) both of Cap-Pelé; his two brothers, Floyd (Claudette) of Pictou, NS, Ralph (Cécile) of Bermuda; one sister, Phyllis Melanson (late Valmond) of Shemogue; five grandchildren, Miguel, Cédric, Amélie, Sébastien, Annie; and one great grandchild, Ariel.
He was predeceased by one brother, Lester and four sisters, Gertie, Pearl, Ruby and Doris.
In respect to Roy’s wishes there will be no viewing at the funeral home. Funeral service will be celebrated at the Ste-Thérèse d’Avila RC Church in Cap-Pelé on Monday, March 21st at 10:30 am.

Shediac – Aline Melanson, 57, passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, April 14, 2011 after a short illness.
Born in Cap-Pelé on June 11, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Henri D. and the late Dora (LeBlanc) Landry.
Aline will be sadly missed by her husband of 38 years in August 2011, Donald; her two sons, Stéphane (Francine) of Dieppe, Jason (Colette) of Scoudouc; her two brothers, Hervé Landry (Ginette) of St-Antoine, Hector Landry (Linda) of Dieppe; two sisters, Andréa Maillet (Hector) of Shediac, Odette LeBlanc (Yvon) of Petit-Cap; her granddaughter, Kyana; her four step granddaughters, Ashley, Alysha, Brittany, Cassandra; her sister-in-law, Janice Ann Landry; also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph and a daughter-in-law, Lisa.
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Friday, April 15th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday, April 16th from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 16th at the St-Henri-de-Barachois RC Church in Grand-Barachois at 12:00 pm.
Donations to the The Moncton Hospital neurology dept., St-Henri-de-Barachois cemetery or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Shediac – Alonzo LeBlanc, 86, passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, April 15th, after a brief illness.
Born in Cap-Pelé on July 5th, 1924, he was the son of the late Sylvain and Ella (Doiron) LeBlanc.
Alonzo will be sadly missed by his wife, Dorine (Landry) LeBlanc; his four sons, Edvin (Cindy), Réginald (Joanne), Marcel (Cecile) all of Cap-Pelé, Normand (Linda) of Dieppe; his three daughters, Noëlla Vautour (Raymond), Marcella Landry (Gérard) both of Cap-Pelé, Lynne LeBlanc of Dieppe; his brother, Léo (late Marie) of Cap-Pelé; twelve
grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son, Sylvain; two brothers, Aurèle, Napoléon and his sister Irène.
In respect to the family’s` wishes there will be no viewing at the funeral home, a gathering with the family will be held at the Thérèse d’Avila RC Church, Tuesday April 19th, 2011 from 9:00 am till time of the funeral. Funeral service will be celebrated at the Ste-Thérèse d’Avila RC Church in Cap-Pelé, on Tuesday April 19th, 2011 at 10:30 am.

Shediac – Emerise Caissie, 77, passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence Shediac surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, July 21.
Born in Bourgeois Office on November 07, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Anna (Goguen) Caissie.
Emerise will sadly be missed by her husband Alvin ; her son Pierre (Linda) of Grande-Digue ; two daughters, Bernice Caissie (René) of Grande-Digue, Linda Caissie (Omer) of Cap-Pelé; one brother, Alphonse (Marguerite) of St-Maurice; five half sisters, Maria Donnelle (Gérard) of Grande-Digue, Elizabeth Gardner (Derek) and Roseline Caissie both of Moncton, Bella Cardoos of Boston, Mass, Emily Perks (Roy) of Toronto; two grandchildren, Rachelle and Mathieu; also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one son Normand, one brother Dolore, one sister Rita, and one infant brother Normand.
By the family’s request, there will be no visitations. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Rev. Alban Thibodeau on July 26th at 11am at the La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue.

Born in Moncton on August 13, 1942, she was the daughter of late Harold and Olive (Wilson) Fitzsimmons.
Joanne will sadly be missed by her son, Skip Coates (Patty) of Cormier Village; her three daughters, Christina Coates (Daniel) of Grande-Digue, Angela Coates (Chris) of Pointe-du-Chêne and Jennifer Gautreau (André) of Shediac; eight grandchildren, Mitchum, Rachelle, Vanessa, Ray, Jonathan, Sheldon, Kaleb, Tristan; four great grandchildren, Joshua, Leeland, Mataya and Jolain; also several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Judith and Linda and one grandchild, Anthea.
No visitations and no funeral service will be held as requested by the family.

Born in Shediac on January 22, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Bernadette (Bourgeois) LeBlanc.
Muriel will sadly be missed by her daughter, Suzanne Savoie of Dieppe; three brothers, Bob LeBlanc (late Gail) of Shediac Bridge, Bernard LeBlanc (Charlotte) and Michel LeBlanc (Murielle) both of Shediac; five sisters, Anne Boudreau (Louis) and Bella Smith (Bob) both of Grande-Digue, Yvette Goguen (Hervé) and Denise Doiron (Olivier) both of Shediac, Terry Richard (Maurice) of Shediac Bridge; two grandchildren, Jacob and Louis Savoie; also many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one sister, Anita.
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Monday, October 18th from 12 pm to 1:30 pm. Funeral service will be celebrated at the St. Joseph RC Church in Shediac on Monday, October 18th at 2 pm.
