Bertha Fougère

Shediac – Bertha Fougère, 77, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, May 29st, 2011.
Born in Pointe-du-Chêne on February 19, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Alma (Martin) Petitpas.
Bertha will be sadly missed by her husband, Arthur, her adopted son, Denis LeBlanc (Christine) of Cormier-Village; her brother, Bennie Petitpas (late Jeanette) of Pointe-du-Chêne; her two sisters, Gène Fougère (Évariste) of Shediac, Dorothy Léger (Gérald) of Pointe-du-Chêne; two grandchildren, Kamie, Marco; also several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Léo and her sister, Patsy.
In respect to Bertha’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no Funeral service.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Anita Bourque

Shediac – Anita Bourque, 87, passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence in Shediac, with her loving daughter at her side, on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, after a brief illness.
Born in Barachois on October 18, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Bruno and Arzélie (Cormier) Thibodeau.
Anita will be sadly missed by her daughter, Mona Pruneau of Shediac; her sister, Marceline Landry (late Valerie) of Shediac; her five grandchildren, Monique (Steve), Mario, Rémi, Annie, Karine; also several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul (1993), one brother, Gerard; three sisters, Stella, Ernestine and Juliette,
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Thursday, May 26 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm.
Funeral service will be at the St. Joseph RC Church in Shediac on Friday, May 27 at 11:30 am.
No visitation on Friday.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Gisèle LeBlanc

Shediac - It is with regret that we announce the passing of Gisèle LeBlanc on Thursday, May 19, 2011, at the age of 91.
Gisèle was born on September 2nd, 1919, the daughter of the late Sévérin Richard and the late Léonie Landry.
She leaves behind four children; Rodrigue (Betty) of Dieppe, Marcelle Léger (late Maurice), Michelle Boudreau (Claude), Charlotte Boudreau (Normand) all of Shediac; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; one brother, Art Richard (Lorraine) of Toronto; and one sister, Albertine Golding (Ken) of Shediac.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph E. (Joe) (1979), seven brothers, Alonzo, Daniel, Noé, Gérard, Normand, Émile and Raymond; and two sisters, Doris and Hélène.
Gisèle was a member of the Home and School Association, C.W.L., Volunteer at Villa Providence, Lionnettes and co proprietor of Capitol Theater of Shediac and Joe’s Clothing Store.
She also greatly enjoyed travelling.
In respect to Gisèle’s wishes, there will be no viewing.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at the St. Joseph RC Church in Shediac on Saturday, May 21st at 11:30 am.
