Survived by four sons, two daughters, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren, one sister-in-law, several nieces and nephews.
Rested at St. Paul's United Church, McAdam, N.B., from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at 2 p.m.
Interment in Rockland Drive Cemetery, McAdam, N.B.
Visiting hours were held at the church on Monday, March 12, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Survived by his wife; one son, Shawn (Edyth), St. Stephen, N.B.; one daughter, Tina Marie, Fredericton, N.B.; one grandson, Zachary; his parents; one brother, Brian; brother-in-law, Ken Harper (Holly), St. Stephen, N.B.; two nephews, Will and Doug; father- and mother-in-law, Aubrey and Jeanette Harper, Fredericton, N.B.; aunts and uncles.

Interment in the Upper Mills Cemetery.

WENTWORTH, Lena Mildred - At Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, N.B., on March 11, 2007, Lena Mildred Wentworth, of St. Andrews, N.B., wife of the late Ernest Archibald Wentworth; daughter of the late Thomas and Daisy (Leeman) Mitchell.
Survived by two sons, Gordon (Nancy), and Roger (Alice); one daughter, Joyce Cross (Milton); six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by her husband, parents, two brothers and one sister.
There will be no visitation by request.

Survived by his wife of 60 years, June (Noddin) Giddens; six children, Debbie Kelson (Gary), of Quispamsis, N.B., Thomas Giddens (Nannette), Oak Bay, N.B., Diane Gass (Gerald), of Chance Harbour, N.B., David Giddens (Nancy), Rolling Dam, N.B., Kimberly Giddens, Bellisle, N.B., and Joseph Giddens (Tammie) Millidgeville, N.B.; one sister, Helen Scullin; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by two sisters and three brothers.
There will be no visiting by request.

(formerly of Old Ridge, Charlotte County, N.B.); son of the late Reid and Thelma (Cook) Woodside of Andersonville, N.B.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Rae (Martin) Dougherty; one son, William R. Woodside and his wife, Rose, and son, Christopher; five daughters, Pam Ivey and her husband, Roger, and son, Tommy, of Calais, Me., Cindy Woodside and her husband Steven Johnston, and children, Alex and Sam, of Cumberland Me., Linda Severance and husband, Larry, and son, Chad Moreside, of Calais, Me., Lisa and her husband, Weston Goodman, of Massachusetts, and Angel Phelps, of Georgia; stepdaughters, Margie Worth and husband, Glen, and daughter, Heather, and Marjorie Townsend and husband, David, and sons, David and George; sister, Reida Woodside, and brother, Sydney Woodside, of Fredericton, N.B.; one aunt, Elizabeth Pearson, her daughter, Thelma and family; and one niece, Marina Nixon, of Calais, Me.

A memorial service will be held at The New Life Christian Assembly Church, Old Ridge, N.B., on Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 2 p.m., with Pastor Douglas McLean officiating.
Interment will take place in the Moores Mills Cemetery at a later date.
He was a member of the St. Croix Lodge AF & AM in Calais, and the International Union of Operating Engineers Local No. 4.

Survived by nine daughters, four sons, 60 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several great- great-grandchildren, one brother, three sisters, several nieces and nephews.

HEYWOOD, Elizabeth Genevieve - Peacefully, at the Loch Lomond Villa, Saint John, N.B., on March 7, 2007, Mrs. Elizabeth Genevieve (Leslie) Heywood, wife of the late Rex G. Heywood, of Saint John, N.B., and formerly of Deer Island, N.B. Born on Deer Island, N.B., on Feb. 16, 1925 she was a daughter of the late Osgood and Effie Maude (Doughty) Leslie.
A loving mother, grandmother and sister, she is survived by one daughter, Brenda Lee Wright, of Bayswater, N.B.; two stepdaughters, Sylvia (Earl) Hawton, of Prince William, N.B., and Lee Ann Heywood, of Fredericton, N.B.; one grandson, Joshua Patrick Wright, of Fredericton, N.B.; three brothers, Stanley Leslie, Willard (Elaine) Leslie, and Roger (Peggy) Leslie, all of Deer Island, N.B.; four sisters, Ruth (Walter) Lyons, of Calais, Me., Kathryn Conley, of Portland, Me., Ida Leslie, of Toronto, Ont., and Muriel (Ronald) Estabrooks, of Deer Island, N.B.; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased, besides her parents and husband, by a brother, Maxwell, and sister, Doris.
Elizabeth was a hairdresser for more than 50 years, having worked in various places in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. She holds an honourary membership in the N.B. Hairdressers Association. In earlier years, Betty had been an active member of the Douglas Avenue Christian Church, serving as a Deaconess for five years and a member of the choir. Betty loved Deer Island and especially spending time at her cottage there.
At her request, there will be no visiting at the funeral home.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at the St. George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St. George, N.B., from the Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel on Monday, March 12, 2007 at 1 p.m., with Rev. David Nicholson officiating.
Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty's memory to the Douglas Avenue Christain Church, Leonardville Church of Christ, or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.

FOSTER, Eastman Watters - Peacefully, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, N.B., on Feb. 18, 2007, Eastman Watters Foster, husband of Mrs. Bertha Jean (MacDonald) Foster, of Blacks Harbour, N.B. Born on Grand Manan Island, N.B., on March 26, 1926, he was a son of Prince and Fleda (Ingersoll) Foster.
A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, he is survived by his loving wife, Bertha; one son, Rev. Gary Foster, of Waterloo, Ont.; two granddaughters, Jamie and Nicole Foster, of Seeley's Cove, N.B.; one brother, Edward (Marie) Tidd, of Elliot Lake, Ont.; one sister, Marietta (Bud) Wormell, of Blacks Harbour, N.B.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Eastman was predeceased by one son, Maynard; one brother, Ellis Foster; and one half-brother, Sherwood Tidd.
Prior to his retirement, Eastman worked with Connor's Bros. for 50 years. He loved fishing and the water and attended the Wesleyan Church in Blacks Harbour.
Resting at the Wesleyan Church in Blacks Harbour, from where the service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007 at 2 p.m.
Interment in the Pennfield Rural Cemetery in the spring.
Visiting at the church on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

AMES, Margaret Regena - It is with great sadness that the son, daughters and sister announce the passing of Margaret Regena Ames at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, N.B., on March 14, 2007. Regena was the wife of the late John Stewart Ames, of Veazey Street, St. Stephen, N.B., and daughter of the late Alden and Ethel (Devlin) Davidson.
Survived by five daughters: Marilyn Smith (Michael), St. Stephen, N.B., Shirley Gibson (Ronald), Calais, Me., Margaret Hayre (David), St. Stephen, N.B., and Andrea Acheson, St. Stephen, N.B.; one son, David (Beth), St. Stephen, N.B., 16 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, daughter-in- law, Carolyn, Amherst, N.S.; one sister, Mary Cloney (James), St. Stephen, N.B.; several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her son, Gary; her brother, Philip Davidson, and her sister, Beatrice Hannan.
