McKay, Harry Thomas
McKAY, Harry Thomas - The passing of Harry Thomas McKay, husband of Effie Marie (Raymond) McKay, of Zealand, N.B., occurred on March 20, 2007 at his home. Born on March 5, 1926, in Portage, P.E.I., he was a son of the late John Robert and Virginia Ethel (Wilson) McKay.
Harry was a woods worker and a member of the Burtt’s Corner Jesus Name Pentecostal Church.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Tersa May Mattix, of Saint John, N.B.; one son, John Robert (Jackie Estabrooks) McKay, at home; four grandchildren, Brandan, Dallien, CJ and Bailey; three sisters, Phyllis Milligan (Gordon), of P.E.I., Wilma McCartney, of Elmsdale, N.B., and Shirley Tadden, of Elmsville, N.B.; one brother, Emmerson McKay, of Deer Island, N.B.; one half-brother, Vernon Boyles, of P.E.I.; one sister-in-law, Sheila McKay, of Deer Island, N.B.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one daughter, Virginia Rose; stepfather, Henry Boyles; two sisters, Edith and Bell McKay; five brothers, Roy, Arthur, Gerald, Angus and Wilson; one sister-in-law, Pearl Calder; and step-brother, Charles Boyles.
Visitation will be at the Honeydale Pentecostal Church, Honeydale, N.B., on Thursday from 7-9 p.m.
A funeral service will be held from the church on Friday, March 23, 2007 at 2 p.m., with Rev. Lewis Seeley and Rev. Sydney Haines officiating, with Pastor Garry Hanley assisting.
Interment will take place at Moores Mills Cemetery, Moores Mills, N.B.

COSSABOOM, Eugene W. - Mr. Eugene W. Cossaboom, 83, of North Head, Grand Manan Island, N.B., passed away at the Grand Manan Hospital on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007.
The family is extending an invitation and will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday evening, Feb. 21, 2007, from 6:30-9 p.m. at Ells Funeral Home for a time of fellowship and reflection.
Arrangements are in the care of Ells Funeral Home, 1199 Route 776, Grand Manan, NB E5G 1G2.
Anderson, Maxine Esther
ANDERSON, Maxine Esther – On Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Maxine Esther Anderson left this earthly life and heeded the gentle and loving call of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to enter her heavenly home. Born Jan. 12, 1932 in Andersonville, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Harry and Una (Meredith) Robinson.
Maxine was a devoted housewife and mother. She was a faithful member of the McAdam Independent Baptist Church.
Predeceased by her husband, Harvey Wallace Anderson, on Dec. 1, 2006 and a brother, Glendon Robinson.
Maxine leaves behind five loving and devoted children: one daughter, Luanne Anderson, of Bangor, Me.; four sons, Rodney (Debbie), of Saint John, N.B., Raymond (Marie), of Rumford, Me., Dale (Patty), of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Greg (Judy), of McAdam, N.B. Her memory will be forever cherished by her eight grandchildren, Daniel, Kristi, Darren and Stacy, of Saint John, N.B., Matthew and Bruce, of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Jennifer and Jason, of McAdam, N.B. Also survived by three brothers, Kenneth Robinson, of Blacks Harbour, N.B., Darrell (Muriel) Robinson, of Moncton, N.B., and Donald (Betty) Robinson, of Andersonville, N.B.; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB on Thursday, March 22, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and at the Rockland Drive United Baptist Church on Friday, March 23, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 2 p.m., from the church.

Survived by one daughter, Tenie McArthur, of Guelph, Ont.; two stepsons, Minor and Lawrence Arsenault; one sister, Rena Folland, of St. Stephen, N.B.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; one special nephew and wife, with whom he had made his home for several years, Gary and Diane Yeo, of Saint John, N.B.
Predeceased by one daughter, Janie; one grandson, Ricky; four brothers, Lloyd, Eldon, Horace and Alfred; three sisters, Catherine Shaw, June Caissie and Annie Yeo; and stepfather, Fred Kaine, of McAdam, N.B.
