Mundie, Sandra Mae
At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, N.B., on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007, Sandra Mae Mundie, of Chamcook, N.B.; daughter of the late Albert and Martha (Johnson) Loftus.
Survived by her husband, Milton E. Mundie; three daughters, Kathy (Brian) Logan, of Chamcook, N.B., Debbie (Thomas) Hatt, of Utopia, N.B., and Lisa (Lewis) Johnson, of Bayside, N.B.; one son, Norman Mundie, of Chamcook, N.B.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Hazen (Lorraine) Loftus and Earl (Peggy) Loftus, both of Manchester, N.H.; two sisters, Patricia (David) Beaulieu, of Manchester, N.H., and Sharon (Jack) Boorhess, of Clarksville, Penn.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rested at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B., from where funeral service was held Monday, Nov. 5, 2007 at 2 p.m.
Visiting hours were held at the funeral home on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 3 and 4.
Interment at the Bocabec Cemetery, Bocabec, N.B.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation, Charlotte County Cancer Society or charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
Caswell, T. William
T. William “Bill” Caswell, 81, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007 at his home with his family by his side. Bill was born in Milltown, N.B., on July 19, 1926, son of the late Hugh and Mabel (Johnson) Caswell.
He graduated from Milltown High School, Class of 1943. After graduation, Bill entered the Canadian Army. He graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 1950 with a degree in Forestry. Bill worked as a engineer for Georgia Pacific in Baileyville for 38 years, retiring in 1989.
He married Ann (Crowley) Smith on Sept. 28, 1973 in Calais.
Bill was a longtime member of the Calais Lions Club, C.R.H. Seniority, Georgia Pacific Quarter Century Club, a 45-year member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 48 in Milltown, N.B., and a 50+ year member of Victoria Lodge A.F. & A.M. in St. Stephen, N.B. He was a past member of St. Croix Bowling Club and St. Stephen Curling Club.
Bill enjoyed dancing, woodworking, crossword puzzles, playing computer games, entertaining and holding picnics and barbecues at his cottage on Keene’s Lake, and will be remembered for his wine making.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Evelyn (Burgess) Caswell; his sister, Priscilla Johnson; step-mother, Marguerite Caswell; and a nephew, Kenneth Johnson.
Surviving are his loving wife, Ann Caswell; two children, Fred Caswell and his companion, Crystal, of Flume Ridge, N.B., and Sharon Caswell and her companion, John, of Oak Hill, N.B.; three stepchildren, Larry Smith, Jr. and his wife, Belinda, of Calais, Me., JoAnne Bartlett and her companion, Shane, of Baileyville, Me., and Gary Smith and his wife, Amy, of Champlain, N.Y.; a stepsister, Kathi Despres and her husband, Joe, of Saint John, N.B.; a brother-in-law, Reed Johnson, of Calais, Me.; 18 grandchildren, Tiffany, Shane, Dianna, Kristie, Desiree, Sarah, Ashleigh, Rebekah, Raycheal, Adam, Brian, Krystal, Melissa, Kevin, Scott, Jesse, Amber and Jeremiah; seven great-grandchildren, Amiyah, Caleb, Riley, Katryna, Donovan, Braden and Kathleyn; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful canine companion, Sasha.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. (U.S. time) Wednesday, at Mays Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais.
A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m. (U.S.) on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007 with Pastor Bob Hinton officiating.
Burial will follow in Calais Cemetery.

Sawyer, Keith Robert
At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, N.B., on Nov. 6, 2007, with his family at his side, C.W.O. Keith Robert Sawyer entered the Delta. Born in Ottawa, Ont., son of the late Ada and Alec Sawyer, Keith is the last remaining member of his family.
Keith is survived by his wife, Reta (Huelin); sons, Thomas (Narda), and Randy (Darlene) of Dartmouth, N.S., and Bobby, of St. Stephen, N.B.; one daughter, Karen Crosby, Dartmouth, N.S.; three granddaughters, Michelle and Deanna Crosby, and Amy Sawyer; one grandson, Ian Sawyer; two nephews, Greg Thorne and Alec Sawyer, of Woodstock, N.B.; and one niece, Carolyn Thorne, of Whitehorse, Yukon.
Predeceased by his brother, Jim, and sister, Jean Thorne.
Funeral service will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B., on Friday, Nov. 9, 2007 at 2 p.m.
Interment at St. Stephen Rural Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.

Survived by her sons, Brian Bradford (Nancy), Edmonton, Alta., Raymond Bradford, Edmonton, Alta., Bruce Bradford (Karen), Oak Haven, N.B., and Danny Bradford, Oak Haven, N.B.; daughters, Bonnie Cleghorn (Mike), Oak Bay, N.B., and Pam Bradford (Doug Haley), Burnt Hill, N.B.; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband and one son, Ronald Norman Bradford.

McNabb, Jeffrey Earl
At Saint John, N.B., on Nov. 4, 2007, Jeffrey Earl McNabb, husband of Gail A. (MacFarlane) McNabb, of Chamcook, N.B.; son of Earl K. and Carole E. (MacNichol) McNabb, of New Germany, N.S.
Survived by his wife; stepdaughter, Amy Mundie; stepson, Jason Mundie; his parents; one sister, Heather Publicover (Chad), New Germany, N.S.; three nephews, Colby, Joshua and Jordan; two uncles, Gary McNabb (Marie), St. Stephen, N.B., and Paul MacNichol (Charlotte), Cornwallis, N.S.; one aunt, Joan Herrgesell (Frank), Arizona; several cousins and godfather, Raymond Moses, and godmother, Mary Myers.
Rested at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B., from where funeral service was held on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007 at 11 a.m.

Green, Bernard L.
Bernard L. Green, 89, of Grand Manan Island, N.B., passed away at the Grand Manan Nursing Home on Nov. 8, 2007. He was the son of the late Chester and Minnie (Randall) Green.
Bernard served in action in the Canadian Army in Europe during the Second World War in the Carleton & York Regiment. When he returned home to the Island following the war, he and his wife, Arleen, lived quietly enjoying the simple things in life and brought up their family together. He worked first as a fisherman and later, as a skilled carpenter.
He was a dedicated member of the Grand Harbour Baptist Church, and also a hard working member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 44, where he will be sadly missed.
He is survived by one daughter, Cheryl (Barry) Russell, of White Head Island, N.B.; two sons, Paul (Charlene) Green and Byron (Darlene) Green, both of Grand Harbour, N.B.; eight grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Arleen, in 2006; also three sisters, Margaret Leavitt, Elizabeth Walker, and Winnifred Badger; and one brother, Edison.
Visiting hours were held from Ells Funeral Home on Friday.
The funeral service was held on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007 from the Grand Harbour Baptist Church at 2 p.m., with Rev. Ron Ford officiating.
Internment followed at the Maple Grove Cemetery.

White, Constance Marie (Eastman)
Mrs. Connie (Eastman) White, 64, who resided with her daughter in Utopia, N.B., passed away on Nov. 9, 2007, peacefully at home with family by her side, after a very courageous battle with cancer. Born in St. Stephen, N.B., on Sept. 7, 1943, she was a daughter of the late A. Earle and Mary Jane (Seeley) Eastman.
A beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, she will be deeply and forever missed by one son, Larry (Donna) McLaughlin, of Lawrence Station, N.B.; two daughters, Davina (Morton) Cooke, of Utopia, N.B., and Katrina Lovett (Terry Weeks), of Porter’s Lake, N.S.; special nephew, Donald (Beckey) Eastman, of St. Stephen, N.B., son-in-law, CPO2 James Lovett, of East Lawrencetown, N.S.; her grandchildren, Diana, Christina, Stewart, Dustin, Christopher, Zachary, Jessica and Camryn; her cherished great-grandchildren, Nathan, Makenzie, Liam, Mariah, Savannah and Dominic; brother-in- law, Stanford Young, of Leonardville, N.B.; nephew, MWO Earle Eastman; and nieces, Deborah, Sandra, Paula, Velma and Brenda. She will also be sadly missed by special cousins, Edith (Ken) Colson, of Calais, Me., and Rev. Phillip (Melba) Anderson.
Besides her parents, Connie was predeceased by her sister, Roberta Young, and by her brother, Ernest Eastman.
Before her illness, Connie worked at St. George Funeral Home as a receptionist and bookkeeper. Her kindness and compassion touched many lives. She was a true giving spirit, which was reflected in the volunteer work she did for many organizations. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 40 and Past President of Branch No. 40 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed all music, but especially loved playing the piano and singing in the choir. Connie was known for her love of animals and was forever feeding a new stray. Her family was her lifeline and she never took for granted the moments she spent with them.
Rested at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium, 26 Portage Street, St. George, N.B., from where the service was held on Monday, Nov. 12, 2007 at 2 p.m., with Pastor John Ledford officiating.
Interment followed at the St. Stephen Rural Cemetery.
Visiting at the funeral home was held on Saturday and Sunday.
A Legion Tribute Service was held at the funeral home on Monday at 1:30 p.m., prior to the funeral service.

Hansen, Albert
Albert Hansen, Veteran (RAF) of World War II - Nov. 1, 1920 - Nov. 10, 2007. Albert passed away peacefully on Nov. 10, 2007 at the Perth Community Care Centre, Perth, Ont., after a lengthy illness.
Albert is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Frankie (Frances Craig); and his children, Linda (Brian), Darla, Peter and Taina (Frank); and 10 grandchildren, Zachary, Kyle, Kristina, Robert, Erika, Haley, Courtney, Andrea, Erik and Liana.
Many thanks for all the support of our friends at Flower Station and the caring staff at the Perth Community Care Centre. As per Mom and Dad’s wishes, there will be a private family funeral.
